Really good place with a great view of Besant Nagar Elliot’s beach. Interiors give you a great new experience! The food was good (not the great I have tasted). Enjoyed the pasta and sizzlers! Keep a check on quantity, one dish can easily can fit 2 tummies. Smash potatoes are the best 😍

Being from Latina America you don’t have too many options in Chennai, and I was craving for Latin America food so we decided to give a try to Hola, I need it home food that include beans!) First impression: great rooftop tables with light candles, but it seems that the table cloth was old, anyway the guys were very helpful even with a lack of English. Drinks: horrible! Taste was cheap, you had to be kidding me, blackberry smoothie was bad that I didn’t finished scare that I was going to be sick after, lime soda was tasteless.Appetizers; nachos! Was very tasty but for the price you expect more nachos, the presentation is nice but still, so less nachos for that priceBurritos: gosh first impression was : “ why the tortilla has this color” but the taste was really gooooooooood! Love it! I missed this taste so much, thank you guys!Chicken was really tasty!Price: you expect to pay this for Mexican food in other country, but you also expect this price includes really good drinks, cleanliness bathrooms and really good staff, that it just doesn’t have it... 🤷🏻‍♀️ good they have parking space but even the parking guy wasn’t very helpful. One of the absolutely useless restaurants of today..The quantity of the food served will just make u go nuts.. they hardly could cater to my 9yr old son..Taste is recommendable but very disappointed with the service and quantity..I heard the waiter passing sarcastic comments on the guest who jus left.. We had come on a week day, so the crowd was less and the delivery was really quick. This place had a great ambiance and enjoyed the music mix. The food was really good. We tried out one dish from each category. We dint find any complaints in any of the dishes. They only had chicken and fish, so we couldnt try out the mutton and lamb dishes. I loved the chipolte sauce in the dishes. The dishes were a bit pricy, but using zomato gold they were quite affordable. Overall the experience was great. I would visit this place again next time.

We thoroughly enjoyed dinner at hola. Soup was really nice with good healthy ingredients in it,such as rajmaa, corn.

It’s a pleasant Rooftop Restaurant with a great beach view. This place is perfect for your romantic dinner getaways. Beautiful dim lights and ambience are enhanced with their delicious dishes. They have variety of cuisines but try their pizzas and pasta which are the best. The place is right near Elliotts beach so when you are visiting , try this restaurant too. They have two levels so you can manage to get a seat even on weekends but in case you wanna go for rooftop then call them in advance. Have fun dining and enjoying the Ambience!

Located near the Bessy beach this place has an absolutely stunning indoor and outdoor (terrace) ambience with outdoor turning into a candle light setting as dusk falls.The food here is pretty expensive and not really worth the price as you can get better quality food for the same price in more exquisite restaurants like Little Italy and soul garden.If u wanna have a romantic rooftop candlelight dinner then this is the place for u.The service is pretty good.OVERALL RATING: 3/5

Perfect place for a romantic Candle light dinner.

Such a calm rooftop restaurant which opens only for dinner. The menu is good and their sauces are so tangy. The ambience is good and Service was prompt. During summer the rooftop is hot in the night also. Management can take put up shades or place plants pots to cut down the warmth.

Typical french restaurant. If you are comfortable with the taste of authentic french food, the cheese, flavour and dishes please do visit here. Dont expect the taste of dishes in Indian way. Price is nominal. For a couple: ordering a soup, appetizer, pizza and desert will bring 1200. Good restaurant for a cozy weekend dinner. Not very crowded. Ideal for a small group of friends or family to enjoy a nice meal. Not much variety in the menu, but nevertheless we had a great time as a group of friends.

Extremely disappointing experience. I ordered 3 different dishes: mushroom starter, ravioli, and sizzler. All 3 are supposed to be very different. (At least according to the menu). But when I ordered it, they used the exact same sauce/base to make all 3 items! So it was like eating the same dish over and over again!They couldn’t even take the trouble to prepare different items so they dumped the same dish on our heads, not even a slightly modified version.Their “I don’t care” attitude made me want to walk out of the place.They were playing deafeningly loud Hindi songs on the radio. Repeatedly telling them to bring down the volume fell on deaf ears.

The roof top ambience facing the beach was great, but the food was average!! If you want a great place to relax and enjoy with friends and loved ones, its a place to be!! If youre a foodie, Im afraid its not so!!!

The BestWell, Being that I dont have much experience in these type of hotels, Still I would say this is the best roof top restaurants. The menu is excellent, service is awesome and the food is delicious. Nothing more is needed from a restaurant. Providing candle light dinner without ask is a plus. The view is topnotch. I will always recommend this hotel.This restaurant is forever going to be in my memory for reasons that cant be disclosed.(At least for now :-P)

The lift was not working and the staircase very unclean. Service was very slow. Needs to improve on these fronts. The rooftop breeze and selection of dishes was some savings grace.

Good pan pizzas. Smoothies were great too. But the best thing about Hola is the decor and the ambience. It has a spacious rooftop, not congested like Mash.

Dreadful experience couple of days back. What was expected to be a memorable lunch with old pals was screwed up! First the pasta served was uncooked to spoil the fun, only to make way for a nasty surprise with a screw, yes a screw in the quesadilla! It was sheer luck that it was caught between the tooth before it could be swallowed down, cant imagine what would have happened if it were not for that. Needless to say my friend had an aching tooth and upset diet. To our chagrin neither the chef nor manager was around to explain this ghastly affair.As compensation for the sorry state we were treated to a free dessert which was we gobbled down with trepidation!Will never recommend it to anyone, and would walk down to the beach to get a better view. Such a lacklustre service with no accountability is appalling to the core.

I have never left a negative review in my life. Unfortunately, the standard at this restaurant was very poor. We friends actually searching for a nice restaurant to hang out and to have good food. And finally we thought of going to Hola Restaurant. Now where do I start? Having entered the restaurant, we saw that the rooftop which was displayed everywhere in the google reviews (pictures of ambience) and also we booked the same, was under renovation and we had to wait for several minutes to be greeted and seated inside the restaurant but unfortunately not the rooftop area. It was quiet a bad ambience. And those waiters was so unprofessional and they dont even know how to talk and they dont even put an effort to explain us about the recipes in the menu card. The menu cards very ABSOLUTELY disgusting, covered in oil and all sorts of dirt with the foil peeling away from the paper . We ordered Potato wedges, soup (which tastes like a pizza sauce dipped into a bowl of hot water and some veggies), nachos, pizza, pasta etc., We had as our starter, was nothing more than slices of potatoes and some ketchup. And what not, I have experienced the Worst service. Honestly, the best bit of food (only dessert) we had there, was the soft-centered chocolate cake which was also somewhat okay. For each and every food, we felt like the same taste, same spices, same salsa, same veggies, which has nothing to do with different recipe names. Lasagna was absolutely terrible.Believe me, dont go with the names of the recipe, they dont even know, how to make a normal white sauce. Honestly, I never complain in a restaurant, if you charge people, and quite a bit of money, you must give something back. I will never go there again !!! It was terrible !!! Dont be fooled, this place has nothing to do with Italian and Mexican food, and the service was very poor. KFC would have been a better choice ! Go for it guys!!

Main selling points for this restaurant is the ambiance and the roof top view you get. It makes the whole dining experience great The menu is more inclined towards Italian and Mexican dishes which are really good, no downside on the food, though some dishes can be bland. Price is a little in the higher side, but that is something youd anticipate from a place like this.

Food is not really worth the pricing but definitely a cosy place for a couple. The view from the terrace to the beach is good but could get really humid, so a little bit more ventilation would make it better. It is at an ideal place but a little difficult to figure out since there is no sign board that meets the eye level. Overall a good place to have a good time.

Wanted to try out Mexican food at Hola. Tried the Veg Taco and Veg Quesadilla. The taco was nice and crunchy. So were the vegetables. It turned out to be really good.The Quesadilla was little bit soggy. I prefer it to be slightly crisp. The taste was wonderful though. The side portions of salsa were fresh and good. Large chunks of tomato but the sauce part didnt hold the tomato.On the minus side, the portions could be bigger.Very friendly staff and excellent service.

The place looks less maintained. When we reached there I saw left over pasta on 2 tables. Being an Italian restaurant left over pasta is a bad sign. Late I ordered it myself. The mushroom in the pasta were tasting as if they were fermented. I left it also.

An above average Italian restaurant near Besant Nagar beach.. when we went on 1.1.19, the lift was not working and had to climb up to the second floor.Food was ok though not great..One can enjoy the taste only if they like Italian delicacies. Views from roof top is appealing. Place appear not well maintained. Location and roof top view are high lights of this place.A good place for small groups to enjoy. Price , though is on ahigher side. The pizza has a few strands of hair which the mgt was not apologetic about. When we asked for a discount, we were told the drink will be made complimentary. However an exorbitant service charge was applied. This is very mean and unprofessional. I would not recommend this place to anyone.

Worst customer service. We had a reservation through eazydiner and when we reached the place they said they blocked all the reservations from such online portals. They even did not try to offer us seat and they said they have communicated such online portals to stop online reservations. The persons behavior is such bad and rude.
