The biriyani was amazing there. Dont miss trying their biriyani. Chinese starters was also amazing but cant beat the biriyani taste there.

The food was great here, I have visited few years back and had a chicken Biryani which was in Andhra style thought of having Hyderabadi style but then it was not available. And now again recently on 28th August we went as a group of 24 people, the staff was cooperative and helped as by arranging the tables as we liked. And I had andhra meals which was somewhat authentic enough, and my friends had wide range of varities and all were good.

Good quality of food. Unlimited Veg Andhra meals was amazing at an affordable price but the side dish was slightly priced higher. Polite waiters with great hospitality.

Its Christmas Eve 🎄 so we planned to have some spicy lunch. The first thing came in mind is Andhra food and it should be near.Those who really wanted to taste the spice of Andhra, then Spice trail is the best.Firstly, the ambience.. this place looks very good inside. To attract the customers they have show cased some olden like ancient picture of madras aka Chennai. And also have kept the olden utensils which were used for cooking.Secondly, the service.. It was really hard to communicate with the people who work inside as most of them were Telugu and Nepali Guys. But they were really active while working.The next is food.. the vegetarian full meal is not as spicy as the non-vegetarian food.And finally the people inside were so friendly and it was a bon appetite.

Taste is good.Presentation was so good for hyderabadi chicken biryani (boneless)

So the food is very decent. There arent too many good places near the library and I stumbled upon the place happenstance. The staff is polite and the restaurant serves good food. The prices are slightly on the higher side and the service could be faster

Just wonderful, I was so happy to hv such a tasty Biryani after the regular Tamato and Purina rich biryani. The Andra Meal was Vera level with a grt meen kozhambo.Over all, I m very happy with the kind of food Spice Trail served me.I wud definitely visit again as soon as Chennai unlocks.

Loved their meals. One of the best meal you can have in chennai. Meals quantity was sufficient and the taste of their curry was awesome. Also tried prawn, quantity is not enough for two but tastes really good. Price of their prawn curry was bit high. Ambience is also good.

I loved this place. They cared about my experience and I was very dehydrated and likely having some heat exhaustion. They cared. The Andhra meal was amazing, and delicious. Chilled water, and beautiful food.

Are you a foodie? If so, you will love this nice restaurant located on Montieth Road, bang opposite the old Fountain Plaza mall. Excellent food with very friendly, yet unobtrusive service. We especially liked their lachcha parathas and Hyderabadi Dum Biriyani. A friend told us that their thalis are also amazing.Valet parking is available: A boon if you are driving in your own car, since this is a very busy street.

Food taste is good. You can get Andhra style foods here. Staff are friendly, they also serve unlimited food with smile. Its hygienic one and located in a prime location. This place is quite silent place and you can spend quality time with your family n friends. The only reason for marking it 3 star is its cost. The price what they charge is much much higher.

Theres nothing wrong with the food they serve here. Its delicious and economic. The hospitality is the only thing thats putting the reputation of this hotel in the gutters. The waiters dont even mind you sitting and only come to your table when called for 2 or 3 times. This happens always.

A nice place with nice ambience. Bike parking available.The food is too spicy. Pls inform them about the spice level that u require. Else you are gonna burn your stomach.Cost is normal. Food is tasty.

We went for the lunch and ordered the Andra meals and some sides. Food was pretty good and the ambience was decent. It was busy and had to wait some 15 mins to get seated, they dont have an arrangement to inform people about the wait time. They give some random timings and make us wait. There is no space for sitting and we stood there waiting for them to call us. For the price offered,the quality of the food and the service is satisfactory and no complaints there. We ordered the mutton curry and omelette as sides which were good. Overall a satisfactory experience.

Olive & basil and Spice Trail are the same place serving two cuisines. Andhra cuisine is a must try in this place. But for continental its not a great place. Natu kodi veppudu is my favourite in this place. If you are a country chicken fan, you should definitely try this dish.

Open by 12 pm. The restaurant serves yummy andhra thali which is worth for. Ambience is pretty good. Service is too good. Give it a try and you wont regret!

Hotel ambience is good, but we have ordered sezhwan fried rice and mixed fried rice taste was too bad. The only thing we loved was crispy lamb except everything waste. The place is good for people hangout because no rush there.

Spice trail is a great restaurant to hang out. Specially if your in the liking for Indo-Chinese or Indo-Thai cuisine. The place is at a very perfect location and the ambience is very nice. The quality and quantity are of good value and taste. I would be very happy if they keep the price nominal as it is now. Ideal place for family gatherings or friendship hangouts. The staff are very warm and service oriented.

Never ever would suggest my friend to this restaurant...waited with family (4) for 20mins at the door and no one came and asked me for the table...I myself walked in and found 2 seats at 4 seats table...requested them to take alternate 2 seat table..they were so kind and accepted my request...finally twist in the story..bearer came and told me to wait at the door saying someone else waiting for this 2 seats..but they were 6 of them!

Went at 11:30 am to the place and it was still closed. Owner of the place was very rude when we asked him what time they’ll open. Not worth your time

Poor service with untrained staff. They are clueless on taking orders and coordination. Added to which, the arrogance. Our starters were served when we were nearing completion of our main course!!!Albeit the poor service, food is tasty. Hence three stars.

Think twice before entering this restaurant .The waiter doesn’t know what’s he is serving or the chef doesn’t know what’s he cooking. Ordered a Reshmi kebab and the waiter with pride serves me a chicken tikka and says - this is our style! That was arrogantly atrocious..Even worse... atleast they could have served fresh chutney for the side. But that came straight from the deep freezer. Bad experience...
