Shri Balaajee Bhavan .What a place for fooding after the shopping in T.Nagar .It is located in first floor of the building .They have the awesome dish to serve you with awesome taste .Dont forget to try there paronth generally the prontha is available in most of the resturent in Chennai but you try there parontha once.You wil love it.Price are little bit high due to presence in T.Nagar at prime location.So, the whole experience is good there and I suggust you to go once .

One of the oldest and best eatery in Pondy Bazar. Taste is good and the price are very reasonable which attracts lot of crowds shoping in Pondy Bazar. Parking is an issue for both four wheeler and two wheeler now due to smart city project it has reduced a lot. Over all an good option when you are around Pondy Bazar. But always very crowded.

Average quality. Standard used to be much better before, but has deteriorated recently. Avoid deep-fried items (especially Bajji). Many members of my family had stomach upsets after eating Bajjis from here last couple of times. I think they re-use the oil too much.

Have been here for years and we just loved the place until last time. We have never had a such bad experience with this hotel for the past 10 years. I guess their chefs would have left during this pandemic. Hope the will bounce back.

Assorted starches thrown at you by tired, surly, smelly waiters. Air-conditioned dining hall has bar (read NO) lighting. Hygiene/cleanliness maintained to the minimum. Extremely busy, ALL the time since shopping is a tiring pastime. Dont expect much, other than a fat bill of course.

There is a nostalgia attached to a place and more so if it is related to the gastronomic sense. One such place was Balaji Bhavan. But sadly it was not to be in my case. While the service offered tried to be homely but ended up as nothing like it, the food was pretty below expectations. The Coffee was good but taste wise all else 3 on a scale of 10. Ambiance was nothing to mention about again but on price it was quite high. No value for Nostalgia eh?

The mid-day meal was of surplus quantity, highly satiating. The quality of the meal was good, very much home-like. Looks and feels sumptuous. But the taste was lacking in many ways. Wasnt spicy, a bit dull.

We decided to have lunch here today after our shopping at Kumaran Silks. We tried their limited meals (Rs. 140), mushroom fried rice and vegetable biryani. Everything was good including their AC dining ambience at first floor. They screened all the guests upon arrival and provided hand sanitizer. Car parking available at Rs.20 per hour.

3 star for the service and 5 star for the food quality. The management needs to upgrade of some sort. Customers satisfaction and their treatment is king. Food taste vary from day to day. But service must be the same no matter what.

Loved this place. Had the chennai special lunch which had some really nice options. 180 ruppies all you can eat. As westerners they made us feel comfortable and insisted on us trying many options available.

One of the best restaurants I have ever dined...such a great taste and I would say much better than Anandha bhavan in my experience...big fan of ghee dosa and 3 variety chutney they give.. also love the meals and coffee here..usually crowded so you need to wait for the food to reach you..restroom could be maintained more well.. parking available...price is a bit costly but worth eating...I strongly recommend and have a great food with your family and friends...
