Very Good Non veg Restaurant in and around Teynampet area.Prices are very reasonable and the taste was awesome.One should try their Mutton Shorba , Tandoori items , especially sea food. Loved the Food, place,people and atmosphere.Full Paisa Vasool. If you are going to Chennai I strongly recommend to visit this Place to have Good Non veg Food.

Ambience and food are very good. This has become on of our regular restaurants when we want to treat ourselves with some quality and tasty food.

The same taste that I tasted way ago.. Chicken 65 Biriyani was at the best and as an ardent biriyani lover, I havent tasted better than this with any other restaurants...

Had Chicken Tandoori Mandhi instead of the normal one. Tasted good even though the chicken is not what we expected. Except for not getting the tomato chutney along with rice, we had a great time there having food and enjoying with friends.

Awesome restaurant. Been a customer for more than 20 years. Briyani is an highlight. Starters are great, both veg and non veg. Arabian style cuisine to be mentioned. Anytime favorites are their parottas and side dishes A must try. Highly recommended.

Had lovely mouthwatering dishes....taste is good but finally we ordered mutton mandi and there was shocking ingredient added in it a little cockroaches was fried in it ..how could a good branded hotle can be so careless...

Near the metro station is the Teynampet location. There is parking available. There were no Mutton Samosas or Dynamic Shrimp available. I ordered Kizhi Parota and it was excellent. Very tasty. It was OK to order Chicken Duke Biriyani. Customer service is excellent, as is the atmosphere.Restaurant is awesome. Over 20 years as a customer. Biryani stands out. Both vegetarian and nonvegetarian starters are good. You should try the Arabian cuisine. One of their favorite dishes is their parottas; a must-try. We recommend trying it.

Good service! They were very attentive to our needs and very also very accomodating.

Location is very near to Teynampet metro. Parking space is available. Unfortunately their special Mutton Samosa and Dynamic Shrimp were not available. Ordered Kizhi Parota and it was superb. Paya was too strong for my taste buds. Chicken dum biriyani was okiesh. Staffs are very polite and helpful. Would like to explore this restaurant again.

Chicken 65 briyani is a must try!! Awesome taste. You find equal amount of corn and chicken in sweet corn chicken soup. Well served and people are kind here!! Samco spl pudding is very famous and yummy here!!

The prices are on a very higher side and they dont offer anything along with appam, parotta or any other dish. You have to order every curry separately. For 40 rs appam, you order 150 rs egg curry. not many items in the menu were available. Not a great experience.

Its super place to have a lunch. Chicken was so so so good. Chicken Mandi rice was ok, but tat chicken 🍗🍗🍗🍗 semma semma taste. Ill give 100/100 marks. I havent eat such chicken before my life time.

Soup, starters, main course were good. Briyani was a let down. Their service was good, but due to some WiFi problems that day our orders were served very late, and after 3pm only Chinese dishes were available. Coconut pudding wasnt good, brownie with ice cream was ok, but too small. Starters and main course they serve in good quantity

First of all its HALALNow come to the point.I have been in many restaurants,But SAMCO is something special to me.Such a great ambience, humble servers, delicious food, especially Biriyani which had was (Vera level),Good place for Family and couples, and one more thing they are going to arrange a candle light dinner for Valentines day, so enjoy your meal with everyone.Finally (price is Not that much high, its reasonable).

My all time favorite restraunt in Chennai. I just cant describe how much I love this place and how many times Ive been here. I always order chicken biriyani, Alfaham Dijaj and Arabian Grapes Pulp Juice and nothing fails to delight us. We recently tried Malabar chicken biriyani and it was awesome too. The quality has never gone down. This review is exclusively for the teynampet branch. Though I live at Velachery Ive not visited their branch near Phoenix. I always visit the one near SIET.

I heard a lot about this restaurant. Specifically heard about dal makhni. Thought to try & ordered today via swiggy. I never never had such a pathetic food. Dal Makhni was a big big question on chefs knowledge about that dish. The moment I saw it, it was disappointing but thinking it will b good in taste at least but first spoon went into my mouth it was a great shock for me. Completely sweet, without salt & no butter. Texture & colour is yuks. Paranthas also was bad. I am not a person at all who believe in putting reviews about food but today I couldnt stop me to put here as I literally thrown the food. So sad

Great place to visit with friends. One of the best average budget restaurant near Theynampet(chennai?). Celebrated friend farewell day yesterday with 14 colleagues. I would recommend to try alfham dijaj and phuket fish that impressed me with delicious taste. And tried mugal mutton biriyan with low specie I liked it more. They took around 15 minutes to get ready and all the items are were fresh. Service upto the mark. Price are convenient as welk for 14 total bill damaged for my friend Rs.8251 attached bill.

Recently ordered Dum chicken biriyani and 600 ml Pepsi for door delivery. I was charged Rs 52(@173%) against MRP of Rs 30 for 600 ml Pepsi bottle besides other charges like partner’s delivery,packing and taxes. I’ve given low star rating not for the food I ordered but specifically for over pricing a branded product with MRP. The online food delivery app pleaded helplessness due to non production of the images.

I just had vegetarian food here (but Im a hardcore Non Vegetarian) all I had were good, special reference to Mushroom Manchurian. All travellers need to try this no matter if you are veg or Non veg.Place is clean, attendant was sharp and he didnt miss out any of our dishes. Service was good. All my cousins had Non Veg and they seemed to have enjoyed it. Samco is great place to hang out with friends and family.Oh Almost forgot!!!! DEFINITELY all of you must try THE ARABIAN GRAPE squash it was Awesome. Im grading from 4 star to 5 just for the juice 😋All the best and take care guys.

This was one of our frequently visited restaurant, I bought 2 Schezwan chicken fried rice at 9.30pm today and I was shocked to see a cockroach in it.Inspite of charging so much its mere carelessness and serving unhygienic way ,highly disappointed.

A good place to eat with friends or family, I ordered Chetinadu mutton Biryani, 65 mutton Biryani and a basa fish BBQ.Fish BBQ is very delicious here but the Chetinadu biriyani is too much spicey, they must inform it when a customer orders it, Or they should mention it in the menu. Otherwise its a good place to eat.Price is Good, Taste is Good,

Worst ever hotel. This is the 4th time am getting a stale food from this hotel. Everytime I buy grilled chicken from this restaurant, the chicken will have a foul smell and yucky taste. Today as I was not well, was looking for crab soup. Very few restaurants have crab soup so I was forced to order from samco. And this time I found an insect floating in the soup. Have advised swiggy to remove tis poor standard hotel from their list. Am not at all surprised to get bad and stale food from samco, because thats what u provide everytime.

Biriyani didnt have any flavours. I prefer biriyani lovers will hate to have biriyani over here. Moreover the biriyani tasted like tomato rice. Alfoma didnt taste good too.

Much has been said about this place. For all those who are looking for a good restaurant for non veg food at reasonable rates, this is it. Been here many times with friends, family and even for office lunches - was never disappointed. Vegetarian food is decent. North Indian dishes may not be authentic (like the ones you get at popular dhabas or Punjabi restaurants). For instance, we recently visited the place and ordered Paneer butter masala along with other stuff. When the dish arrived we noticed that they had added food coloring to get the deep orange color of the dish. Taste was just about average but the tandoori roti and Kerala parotta made up for it. So bottom line: its a good spot for non-veg food, vegetarians have many options as well but my face a little bit of trouble with north Indian dishes.
