Ambience in terms of hall is very good but food for lunch it is very or below average, tiffin is average, but pongal needs correction and quantity supplies is like sampling....as it is put up in key area lot of things could be improved but not sure why it is sustaining the same standards for years

Very old and famous hotel. In 80s, its a pride symbol in dinning at this hotels restaurant. Located in the heart of the city, very close to egmore railway station. I cant say that this hotel provides the best comfort that you can avail from what they charge. As there are other modern hotels pay better serves for almost same price. About the hall, this is the best place to conduct functions as you can get indoor and outdoor(garden) hall with huge dinning space and especially very good car parking space to its location. Food is average.

Very good atmosphere. Loved to be there. Avoid bookings during summer as it is an open lawn area and feels difficult to sustain without AC. Otherwise it is located in a main area in chennai and most popular one.

The welcome drink Grape juice is really awesome, the pulp of grapes still lingering on the tongue. Spacious parking and the lawn where the function held is well maintained.

The Marraige Hall can seat 350 and there is a big stage too. Two rooms are included in the package and any additional rooms are on chargeable basis. A separate dining hall of 150 caapcity is attached to the Hall and it can be entered from one corner of the hall on the same floor. Marraige Hall is on the ground floor. There is lot of space for car parking and the access way to hall has lot of space. Looks well maintained. Adequate wwash area for dining hall and rest rooms are available. Both halls are air conditioned.

Best place in the city for function, party, etc. A/c, Non-A/c halls, lawn space available for celebrating functions and even office meetings. Wide parking for both two and four wheelers available. Hotel/food are served on the best manner.

Hotel Ashoka Egmore Chennai is one of the oldest and reputed hotels in Chennai.The wedding hall is situated inside this hotel. Almost after the entrance you can see the hall situated after a flight of stairs.It can accommodate about 200 people.The restaurant provides the food in a nearby dining room.Ample parking space for visitors and accommodation also available in the hotel.Good venue for reception or birthday or nitchayadhartham.Take good care of the menu.Calm and quiet place.

We went there to attend a function in the lawn, in the evening. It was good. Food was also nice. Good parking space. Nice environment. A good place to conduct a function.

Once upon time it is destination and privilege be inside the hotel Ashoka. But now due to new added hotels in Chennai with international touch, it charms in declining trend....but it not changed was the great green lawn garden and evening dinner. I am sure many remember the elite wedding receptions for theirs or their close associates. It is land mark by itself

Food very average quality. Small hall to host party on the first floor, no life facility. From party hall to dining hall you have to get down 10 steps and again claimb 10 steps. DONT HOST YOUR PARTY OR FAMILY FUNCTIONS HERE IF YOU EXPECT AGED GUESTS.
