Veryvery budget friendly.From the time of booking upto completion of the function the management of events were exemplary.Sandhya mam the owner and the manager Shri Babu were supporting us extremely well and keeping us worry free inspite of the pandemic.Neatness ,upkeep of the hall were professional and provided ambient environment.We felt more affectionate and inclusive from the support of mandapam workers who provided unstinted support at any time of call.More so is the security aspect . We felt so secure during day and night by the strict vigil of the management.Overall the impression : excellent.

Budget friendly and Decent hall for a family function. My family have had almost all functions here. Staffs are friendly and there is a new lift facility added for senior citizens sake.. second floor have rooms and washrooms for guest. 1st floor - function hall, ground floor for dinning.

A decent hall for any functions such as weddings or birthdays. Few mins walk from Palavanthangal station. The function hall is in first floor and dining hall in ground floor. It can accommodate a floating crowd of 150 people. Doesnt have a dedicated parking facility but since its not in a busy road its not a major problem. Only vegetarian food allowed.

Nice cute place to host any occasions like wedding, reception, bday parties. The place comes with the ground floor and first floor so you can plan your event accordingly.

Could have given less than a star if possible. Booked this hall for a betrothal, a week ago. The manager and the owners were charming with their words before getting the booking amount, however their colours started to fade away upon booking. All were very rude and their attitude changed so fast after knowing we couldnt cancel. They charged exorbitant rates for which they should have given without any extra cost. Please do look for a better hall if possible.

Booked for an engagement function in Akshaya Mahal and had the most terrible customer service EVER. We had to go through a lot of mental stress until the date of the function. They spoke all sugarcoated words initially before booking. Once booked, the true colors come out. Started ignoring our calls, so many hidden costs, which were NOT at all communicated to us. No parking space in the hall. They had promised a valet parking. The drivers didnt arrive on time and we HAD to park ourselves mostly. The bathroom attached to the rooms did NOT have lights. The photographer they suggested (Mr.Giri Madhavan) was very RUDE and impatient. Overall, very bad experience booking here. I strongly wouldnt recommend anyone to book here.

Very very nice place to have a medium sized function, like the ones that involve 200 people. AC hall is absolutely gud because the temperature is properly maintained. The rooms for staying are also air conditioned and the staff there provide mattress and bedsheets for sleeping. Have a proper dining area and kitchen too.

Akshaya Mahal is a good place for a small gathering be it a marriage or any function. Caretaker is good and attend to our call immediately. AC is good and the stay room is good. The only concern is on parking and its a open roadside parking. They can appoint call drivers to handle the parking...

This hall is located in Nanganallur slightly interior. Not visible from any main road. Function hall is in first floor and dining hall in the ground floor. This is a bit odd as people prefer to go to function and not for dining.Hall has accommodate 150 people and dining near about 70. Fully air-conditioned with small lift facility. There is stage for conducting the functions. Playing instruments inside the hall is noisy as proper acoustics are not provided. No parking facility. Almost on the street. Street is also very narrow..

The front Road is narrow where just Two cars can move st a time with a little difficulty.The Management had tie up with Catering, Event management, etc.You can book this Hall for Betrothal, Birthday Parties, Get together, Events, Small functions, Sashtiaptha spoorthi, Sadhabhishekam, and Marriage with minimal number of People.

Decent capacity of about 70 to 100 people. Good a/c. Can provide chimneys, so that smoke from Homam does not engulf the hall. The two exhausts provided are inadequate for clearing smoke.

Was there for a marriage reception, found difficult to locate the hall as its located far inside from palavanthangal station.Good hall for small wedding and functions and decent dining area. Parking for 4 wheelers will be not be easy.Am not sure about their charges but from they reviews I understand they are pricey.

Shri Akshaya Mahal is the Best marriage hall in Nanganallur located in a well connected but in a calmer area.The facilities and the services offered were great and it is very accessible from anywhere within Chennai.And... The people from the management are very polite and can be approached for any related issues and circumstances associated with the hall and the pertaining occasion.

A very satisfactory experience at shri Akshaya Mahal. Having come from Mumbai to conduct the upanayanam of our sons on 2nd june 2018 we couldnt have asked for more. Payment dealings were clean transparent and reasonable. No untoward surprises at the end of the function.Premises too was cintinuoucon cleaned and all complaints attended to promptly.Special mention has to be made of office management Ms. Shrimathi and Mr. Balasubramaniam whose eye for detail was very impressive.Overall it was a very pleasing experience and value for money. I would definitely recommend the place to one and all.
