Excellent government office.

This directorate is the board for controlling all the schools of the state. State and matriculation boards are under this board control. The syllabus which has been revised is latest and good for students. The officers at this office has to be active and have to respond to queries. The service has to be improved.

Sir please postpone the 10th exam. Our children life is more important than the exam. Students, teachers parents altogether 20 lakhs people have to come out from home.Pl consider. It will lead to increase in crona which in turn affect the 20 lakhs familyPl......... postpone the exam

Since for 10th standard it was a new syllabus and there was a lot of confusion among teachers and students it took some time for student get pick up, pls consider revision exams marks since it was exams which was conducted before public exams,only revisions exams preparations proves potential of students before public exams

Definitely not a good experience. I went there to buy samacheer books. Its been since 2 months i am not able to get a single book. No stock. Even the staffs dont know when they will get the stock back. They gave a landline number to check the availability of books before going ther... but the phone line is dead or they dont attend the call.

This is the headquarters of school education department . This DPI campus hosts 11 directorates as part of school education.Moved here by 1857 , we have five heritage structures of British raj of the period 1857 one if which is Madras Literary Society. Must visit place for educational history lovers.
