My association with Devi dates back to my school days and they have with sheer dedication and service mind produced best students ever since. The management makes every effort to motivate and encourage the children which is evident from the initiatives like talent show/ various workshops even over weekends. The online learning platform (MS teams) is also an example of their commitment to deliver the seamless learning experience. The teachers are very knowledgeable and give their best to ensure kids continue their learning journey despite the most challenging times. Special thanks to principal mam whose timely communication and amiable nature makes parents life lot easier.

Many sports and extra circular activities made our child super active and energetic. The teachers are super sweet and amazing. I’ve never worried about my daughter while she’s under their care and guidance. I thank the teachers & managements for opting to move on to the online platform is a great exposure to the child which helps them to learn how to handle the application. I highly recommend Devi Academy!!!All of the teachers are so kind to each child, truly encouraging each to their strengths.I love the latest technology adopted by the school for online interactive session, class work uploading, view classes video and online exams.The school is true to the Montessori practice and is not a blend, as are other schools that I have observed. My children LOVE to attend and learn.In addition to this i would mention that my daughter was the first to join here without much expections but after a months of the course we could find a vast difference in her academics which made us make our son, younger to her to join in the same campus at the middle of the academic.

I came to.know about Devi.academy through my friend. My son did 10th std in coimbatore and we were searching for a.good CBSE school.in chennai. While staying in coimbatore, we contacted the school for 11th admission. I got a very good response from the office persons there and they guided me properly about the entrance exam during this pandemic. They gave proper time for us to reach chennai and arranged for offline entrance exam. Fortunately my son got selected.and joined in first group. Very good faculties and dedicated staff members are there in Devi.academy and special thanks to th.e management without which it wouldnt have been possible. One of the wonderful institution by far in Valasaravakkam and its surroundings. Management opted for Microsoft Teams for online classes during this pandemic lockdown and for sharing learning materials, homeworks etc..not many institutions would do that. Kudos to management for opting Enterprise product such as Teams. Being a parent of 7 year old kid I always wanted my kid to learn and grow by fun and not by pressure. Devi Academy is one of such institutions which makes learning fun ans easy. Moment of appreciation for all the faculties who are working tirelessly on the online learning materials for our kids. Teachers are very kind and positive attitude towards students. They taught lessons with clear explanation. They conducted the exams as per scheduled dates at the right time. Excellent time management. Really appreciable.

School and the Teachers have quickly adopted to the Pandemic and online learning process. But doubling the School Fees during the Pandemic is very heartening. This shows the school management is purely money minded. They should consider the position of the parents.

Very Bad Experience. Money minded people collecting 45K building fund by cash. There office admin staff are the sales and money collecting agents. A lot of parents harassments observed. The school toilets are unhygienic and pathetic.

I want to share my experiences i had with the school in all aspects.My son joined in Devi Academy Senior Secondary School during the academic year 2018-19.1. In respect of academics especially during very difficult COVID pandemic times i want to say a few things which is as follows:a. Even before any of the schools as far as my knowledge goes Principal Mam addressed the parents of 10th and 12th classes informed that classes will commence in June 2020. Initially teachers prepared the topics and sent the videos to whatsapp thereby the students were able to commence their preparation. Subsequently online classes and online exams were conducted. This showed their sincerity in handling classes and conducting exams which is highly commendable as I have personally seen their efforts.b. I handle classes in my office. Hence, I know how difficult, time consuming and stressful it will be for preparation of materials. To prepare the materials for the students in such a way they understand and assimilate the topics easily without struggling. All the teachers of all the subjects prepared them with cheerful and smiling faces. One can say its their duty. But all the teachers didnt perceive it as their duty but they perceived it as though they were teaching it to their own children. In fact they considered all the students as their own children which is a rare phenomenon nowadays.c. To top it all the support, guidance and assistance extended by the principal and school management is praiseworthy as without their Guidance it will be difficult for the teachers to execute their plans. In fact I know Principal Mams dedication. She forgets that she is a principal and is as tensed as the students which shows her interest in taking the school to a higher level and bringing the school to excellence. No doubt, the school is ranked 25th in CBSE schools in Tamil Nadu. The day is not far off when it will be the numero uno school in the state.d. Simply hats off to the dedication, passion, hardworking and excellent attitude of teachers and principal towards their students (children). No doubt the school is one of the very few top schools in the city.2. In respect of other activities of the school i wish to bring out the following points:a. Within two months of joning the school annual day functions were organised.on 22.08.2018. I attended the schools function. I was spell bound by the achievements the school had made (as narrated in the Annual Report by Respected Principal Mam) in not only academics but also in field of activities viz. sports, drawing, spell bee and in all the fields one can think of in both national and international level. Kudos to the entire Management, Principal, Staff (both teaching and non teaching) and last but definitely not least the budding stars, the students.There is a proverb in English which says First impression is the best impression. That was the feeling I got on that day and I realised that I had made a good judgment in admitting my student in this school.b. Coming to the annual day function the theme (Kaleidoscope) was great. Each and every performance of each and every student was commendable. When the performance of the students was commendable it goes without saying the efforts put in by the Management and the teachers. The support given by the Management to the teachers in organising such wonderful performances is simply amazing. How many times there would be rehearsals and practices to ensure that everything was perfect. Oh my God. The proverb Practice makes the man perfect was proved right.c. Excellent planning, great coordination, great team work and above all excellent execution. All the above made the function an extraordinary success.3. While comparing with other renowned educational institutions, Devi academy has shown great respect in public privacy and security by opted the licensed microsoft product for online interaction with students.Hopefully they would have evaluated many tools but choosing the best shows their commitment towards the service.I believe strongly that our children academic education is being taken care well by Devi academy in this pandemic situation.

It was a fantastic decision by the school to go for a internationally acclaimed platform for online education as it enables the students to attend the class on any device - smartphone, tab, laptop etc.,The classes are being held on time and the students are finding it easy to attend the class and it helps them to be familiar with the latest technology.All the activities, assignments are posted in the Teams platform and the progress is tracked.Once again thanks for the Devi School Management for striving to provide the best possible education in a more secured environment.

My daughter was giving blank answer sheet in her previous school..Now after an year in DA , she is getting 50 percent marks in almost all subjects..She has learnt to answer the questions in her exams.. Teachers are kind, helpful and give very good coaching. Also communicate well. I feel very thankful to DA for providing good education, safe, friendly environment.

I joined my daughter in Devi Academy in class 7. She was diagnosed with learning dyslexia when she was in class 3 and she has been going for remedial classes from then on. The school she was studying in then did not help her cope with the problem. So I put her in Devi Academy. The principal and all the teachers have been very understanding of her problem and have helped gain high self confidence. The principal and the management also helped get language exemption and she took up painting in classes 9 & 10. Now she has completed class 10 with their coaching and encouragement. My sincere thanks to the management principal and all the teachers.

I attended the KG Convocation day conducted in Devi Academy Senior Secondary School yesterday (March 16, 2019) .It was an immense pleasure to see my daughter Siimran graduating to Primary School (Class I) with confidence. I am thankful to the entire Management, Principal and her class teacher for the interest shown in her development in various subjects taught by the School.I still remember the day when I came in for my daughters admission and the Management of the school and Principal assured me that Siimran was their responsibility and that the school would take care of her. I take immense pleasure in writing that the school has done more than it said.The moral values, encouragement and care shown by the School and Class Teacher is highly appreciated.My wife is working mother and can give limited time to my daughter on week days as compared to the school devoting complete attention to my daughter in her upbringing. Having said so, we (family) have noticed a positive development in her academics, personality and increase in her confidence level in her approach towards various subjects (this is reflecting in her actions).One subject which I notice is not taught in some schools is a subject called Moral Science, which will develop the personality and character of the students for the years to come. My daughter is studying in UKG in Devi Academy. The school provides her a safe, loving and secure environment. The way her teacher is helping her develop her individuality, while at the same time emphasizing self-discipline, moral values and respect towards others, is truly a heartening experience. No undue pressure on the children and the teachers are very supportive. They understand that each child is unique and they help nurture and develop their talent. Recently, the school conducted their Sports Day and Annual Day event for UKG and every child was given an opportunity to perform. Great efforts put in by the teachers in training the children for various activities, which was reflecting in their performances (every child was confidently performing on the stage). I would say a BEST decision I could have made for my daughter. My daughter loves attending this school.

Pathetic experience. When you step into a 🏫 for an admission, you need to know the very basic courtesy of making the parents of the kid sit. I met this an adminstration lady. I dont know her name as it was shared. Appreance wise she was looking fat.Coming to part of courtesy. When I wanted to basic details of the school and its infrastructure and promise on education and moral being. What was I asked. Lol. I was asked to bring my kids birth certificate. Im telling her DOB orally that was not sufficient. Next, I can download her DOB in the phone and show it, but what response did I get from that lady. She asked me to go to the internet centre near by and get the birth certificate printed and get it. The lady was judgemental and I think she thought Im an uneducated person and taking to me as if Im her slave. Damn! The experience was pathetic.Im not sure about pon vidyalaya my but the assistant adminsadminis treated me real care for my kids education.My personal advice to my well wishers, friends and people in neighborhood. STAY AWAY FROM THIS SCHOOL

My son is 4th std now and everything is great so far academically right from his LKG. No stress for students and parents (Minimal project works only). Less homework. Mostly everything is taken care in classes itself.If you want your child to excel in sports or something, this is not the school. As they concentrate mostly in co-curricular activities such as singing, dancing etc. However, you can join your kids in some sports club and study here.. I do this only.Fees is however on increasing trend each year. Started LKG at 28k and 4th Std at 55k. So feeling it is getting costlier.Con:Lack of playground for children.
