Dont trust below paid reviews. Its not DAV after all, just Chatrapathi Shivaji DAV, just to attract parents with the well known DAV brand. Its so bad that we, the people in the vicinity at Circular road, Kodambakkam, dont prefer to send our kids here. Extremely money-minded, incompetent teachers, irresponsible principal and a mercenary management, from my personal and many neighbors experience during schooling our kids.. we fortunately had the time to shift our kids elsewhere and not stuck with one mistaken decision forever.

Good cbse school in kodambakkam. Good teachers. From pre-kg to 10th std I study in this school. This school is second home for me.

From my prekg to my class 10(2007-20). I was a part of this school..the best part of this school..is every student..will come to know about their potential.n every student will get attention for his or her talent..i feel very fortunate abt this school..n every student will feel the same once joined..i was given lot of oppurtunities.i was the anchor for 3 yrs of our annual daus..and was active in other events also..i am known for my famous radio jockey of english days also..and also the famous social day skits .(which was a tribute to ex.cm.jayalalitha and velu nachiyar)....Student of this school will never feel lost in the crowd.n the talents r not only recognised.but are developed in this school..Teachers are also very friendly.n unlike other schools all ur doubts will be clarifiedBeleive me..u will build up a lot of confidence within urself through the oppurtunities given to u..n will discover a new version of urself..Every event conducted is not just for the entertainment purpose..but it teaches u a lot..about various things..N weekly yoga.. .(if the student 6th std+) helps u to stay healthy as well..N i must mention about our principal mam..she is very friendly..n supportive..also she was always there to clear our chemistry..doubts.again the school is very fortunate to have her..N..also..the environment is so good with greenery...we have done a lot of activities or social service i shld say-*donating ..things to orphanage (we have even spent time with the orphans)*giving buttermilk to hardworking policemen during summers*planting saplings*promoting plastic free envand what not..And i feel i shld mention about Hemamalini mam..she is primary class english teacher..but also a motivational speaker i shld say..We had a period called life skills..(in class 6 and 7 i guess) in which she taught us many valuable lessonswhich i will remember for life long..Also ur child will be able to clear all his doubts then and there itself..And how did i forget our correspondent sir..OMG..this man is really awesome..and is very strict about his students discipline..I really miss his speeches which he used to give in our morning assembly.. (S..sometimes..his speech bcomes too lenghty..which makes us a little tired at summers.but was useful😅)..I will also mention abour our vice principal presana mam..she was also my telugu teacher.. I miss her a lot..(bcoz she was the only one who used to scold me in my mother tongue)..😅..Well telugu students (including me)of this school r given a golden opportunity..of making the world listen to their voice in radio..Yes we go to all india radio..atleast twice a year..we sing devotional telugu songs ,poems..n lot more..I know some of u may wonder that if there are so many activities going on then when will the student study..believe. Me everything is rightly balanced here.. N there is no compromise in the students education part also..I really want to mention about computer sir..pradeep sir(more frnd than a sir)..he is very friendly taking most of the school responsibilities..Even excurssions are arranged with safety out of the city..and even 1 day trips are arrangedI really miss our school elections..(for spl and aspl).it was fun.n realistic😉And yes there are so many wonderfull teachers..but not mentioning all..cuz it may get too lenghty..All i want to say is..my 13 yrs of journey with this school was fabulous..if u r a parent of a kindergarden student then beleive me ur child who will be crying now to go to school..will also be crying when he or she will be leaving this school..(thats what hpnd to us in our farewell)😄...Friendly teachers...affordable fees....attention to student....beautifull environment...lifetime memories..!!..what else u need???😊This skl is v.different.not like other skls.u get emotionally cntdI know it was too lenghty..butthis school deserves itLiterally in tears..right now.. No proper care for taken of our ward. After repeated complaints also no improvement is taken for our ward. For k.g students no cursive writing was taken. No discipline was maintained in the school. Worst school ever seen. Not able to give one star too

If I had a option of no stars ,I could have done it. Very low standard, ordinary school. In prekg there is no professional skilled teacher.They kept Television in classroom. Children dont learn proper disciplines here, place is small clumsy. Teachers dont communicate with parents. My daughter has got mingling issues with other kids.because she only understand English. This issue become so severe because teacher didnt cooperate with the child and gave no information to parents. She pushed the child out of classroom.yes a about to 3 year old was out of class because of these issues. I tried convinced that sending her out of classroom or punishing like this is not going change her behaviour.but correspondent was so stubborn in old methods.No Refund I Received,as she was there only 45 painful days. Now she is fully changed after I moved her in Montessori within 20 days. She is giggling, tickling her new friends. Really wrost school. If I kept her here ,my daughter might have damaged fully , emotionally and mentally.

Education Wise its a good school and Individual attention is there on kids a big thanks to teachers, most of them are doing a good job, apart from that apart from that, i could not comment about it. till kinder garden you will not feel the heat, once your kid moves from UKG to 1st standard year they will increase fees and i could not belive my eye when i saw the Books fee for 7800/- for an 1st standard kid. They will not give us a bill for those book purchase.When one of the parent enquired about this he was not given a proper answer. I personally feel class rooms were not properly lit, during the bring sunny day it will be okay, but not during cloudy and rainy days.

40 years institute can provide good facilities like good ventilation, lkg and ukg people are getting suffocated, heat bubbles, falling sick 10 per 50 ever day, books fee are too high for ukg 7000 , just 6 books 6note books.Think twice and thrice
