She patiently hears you out and helps you cope up with your problems.I was taking Psychiatric medication for the past 5 years since i was diagnosed as having paranoid schizophrenia . After seeing her reviews in various sites i went to her with no hopes. But the way she counselled me and the way she was talking about positive psychology brought about new faith in me. i attended her therapy with full sincerity and dedication which made me come out of the psychiatric medicines and now i am sincerely following her advice so that my condition would not relapse. this was again told by her. There is a need for educating public regarding mental health and mental diseases especially in India, People should be educated about the fact that mental diseases are curable like any other physical ailments with appropriate modality of treatment.I have a family member suffering from mental disease and we hired services from Mrs.Lakshmi last year and i m very sorry to report that instead of positive outcomes things got worse. My Family member had onset of schizophrenia which wouldn’t have worsen had I been properly guided, instead this lady discouraged us to pursue medicine and in her words “there are lot of side effects and either I should choose psychotherapy or medicine.” She promised us that my family member will be alright in 6 months, and mind you for each sittings she charged exorbitantly.Schizophrenia is a mental ailment which in combination of prescribed medicine along with yoga, care from friends and family can provide positive outcomes, no denying that yoga isnt effective but it alone cant cure complex disease like Schizophrenia, medicinal intervention is 100% required in up-to 95% patients suffering from schizophrenia.Please consult a psychiatrist to understand the level of acuteness and course of treatment required for the patient. For less acute patients’ psychotherapy, counselling, change in life style is enough. Don’t fall prey to touts like these people who are exploiting the lack of awareness among commoner. Please understand they are not doing any charity or social service, they are doing this for money and it is a business for them,I am not complaining for them doing business, my disconnect is when they misguide people, spread hoax, support false beliefs, spread superstition, misuse the lack of knowledge. All these are unethical and should not be continuedPeople please understand there are level of acuteness associated with mental diseases and like any other diseases need to be diagnosed. Prognosis and Course of treatment can only be ascertained by a experienced medical practitioner like in this case psychiatrist, Some cases may require medicine and some may not.Let my experience be a torchbearer for those who themselves or their loved ones have any form of mental malady. Educate yourself, don’t fall prey to unethical parasites in medical profession like them.
