I would like to thank gynecologist Dr.Latha for delivering my baby. It was a normal delivery but without her support and effort it wouldnt have been possible. She is so kind and humble. The way she treats her patient is very kind. She patiently answered for all our questions and doubts. She wont be forgotten in my life. Thank you so much Maam. Also I like to thank staff nurses (labour ward) for their support .

Worst hospital. They are fully money minded people. I went for a small pus and they simply made me to wait for more than five hours in the emergency ward. They didnt even do a dressing. I waited for 5 hours. And without any reason, they are doing blood test and urine test for everyone who is coming there. They dont care what the problem is, but they are doing blood test and urine test and in the end if we ask, they are saying us to leave if we cant wait ( but everyone there are waiting for more than 5 hours) Very Worst hospital. Dont go for any sorts of emergency conditions.

So sad to see this hospital also became money oriented... be ready to fill bags with medicines and stay your costlier vacation... as whatever your problem, you would see reasons to enjoy vacation there... in my case, seeing my child in IV and admitted as really it wasnt required... and he enjoyed so called best treatment. I went there for a headache. They took blood test, urine test,etc and I was waiting in the emergency ward from morning till evening. And after taking all the tests, the doctors simply asked me to leave and take an appointment from a neurologist and come tomorrow. Then for what purpose I waited from the morning? Why there was a need to take urine test and blood test for headache? I didnt even get a single treatment and I paid 5000 for the bill. Dont go to this hospital. Efficient doctors nowadays security check is very tight not easily accessible to all places. Little heck, all types of department doctors are available, all diseases can be attended 24/7 emergency. ICU all are well very systemized organisation. Nothing more to say as usual expensive only, it could be, it is unavoidable all private hospitals charge so but here doctors fight for the patients with the disease. Well equipped hospital.

Medical services are good. but they try to charge more where ever possible. they charged 15% more in the final bill towards non-medical expenses though most of the particulars in the non-medical bill were neither used in the treatment nor provided to the patient. they just took advantage of the situation that we wont scrutinize them on that. close to 30K charged in that category which cant be reimbursed by the insurance. this kind of looting is not expected from such a reputable hospital.

The maternity care and delivery procedure was very professional. Very good doctors and top notch highly experienced professional nurses.Reducing 1 star for lack of parking facility. Also, doctors should encourage video consulting for pregnant women as much as possible to reduce Covid exposure.

Beware⚠️Money luring administration they will shift the patient to normal ward in night instead when they can shift in the morning because then only they can charge ICU charges. The ICU specialist doctor treatment is good. The nurses there are so worse if you ask anything they will give you tomrw. it was a hell of a days paying Money and bringing home patient with negligence burns and scars!

My mother aged 73, goes to Dr. Seshadri for her Diabetes for past two years.We chose this doctor as my brothe whor works for TVS group of companies, referred this doctor. Her January 2021 visit wasnt updated in his system. He also missed to include her sugar medicines in her June visit. Gods grace my mother is ok, but her sugar levels went upto 400 which is very high. As a professional, we must talk and explain to the patients, all the medications clearly in the prescription every time they visit. Old people tend to forget and blindly believe doctors words. I request all doctors to clearly update and educate the patient and patients family on the current medication of the patient during every visit.

Went for a health issue. Doctor made me take all kinds of tests even endoscopy and allergy test. She couldnt find out what is the issue and tablets she gave didnt work. At the end, found another doctor/clinic via practo and Google reviews. He gave me correct medicine and I was cured in 2 weeks.This hospital is moneyminded and running like corporate. Especially you have to wait for days to get appointment and doctor will come late always and you have to wait some more time even though you have appointment. You will get charged each time even it is only followup checkup with no new prescription.Better search for other hospitals or specialists and read others reviews in practo.com before you see any doctor.

We have been calling to book an appointment with doctor ganesh for my dad since morning 10am. They asked us to call by 2pm and reach hospital by 3pm. But after 1.45pm, we called the hospital almost 25 times and everytime, the first lady who picks the call will not listen what we say and she will immediately transfer to the next person. And the next person will drop off even without speaking. After a long time around 2.20pm someone picked the call and she was so sarcastic and was talking with a tone that will make anyone irritated. I dont understand how such rude people get job in hospital at the first place. That too in an appointment section. This is so ridiculous and I dont understand how this hospital even works with such people. We asked if some other doctor is available to consult. They said doctor saraswati is available and transferred the call and again they disconnected it. We kept on trying. Finally that lady was telling that the doctor came by morning and she has left by 2pm. Then why the hell did they ask us to call by 2pm and come by 3pm? Such a irritating creatures. We ended up looking for some other hospital.

Nice hospital. My mother suffered with a cardiac arrest for an emergency purpose we took her to SMF which is highly rated hospital nearby our house.The thing I like about them is they said openly that we dont have cardio facility here please shift her to another hospital immediately they provided ambulance and shifted to another hospital for a free of cost. They provided a good first aid treatment.Not like some hospitals they didnt said like without having any facilities they use to say that we have all facilities doctors will come and will start treatment like that they never did that for money purpose.

Covid review : I had called asking about taking a covid test. They said its taken at the Mogappair centre when I went there I was askd to consult a doctor and then based on his prescription i had to go to their main hospital in anna nagar for taking the test. And the place alloted for testing gave me the fear that it would itself spread us the virus. Am not sure why such a setup is made. Its precautionary and good for the workers but not for the people who come to undertake the test. Atleast they should spray disinfectant spray on ppl before entering that test area.The temporary arrangement made itself will contaminate you. Pls dont go here for testing..They are charging 150 extra along with consultation fees for consumables on top of it 3k for the test i dont think sanitizing people before entering the test area will cost more than that.After giving the test i was fearing if i would catch infections from there.

We went in for an emergency admission with excruciating pain in spine for my aged mother. They made her sit for more an hour in the name of formalities and denied treatment at the end in the name of unavailable beds. Worst experience

Deliberately neglected my dying father to death.If you go at the verge of emergency to this hospital dont forget to get SMF membership card, and yes, be a regular customer here with chronic disease or else theyll gather around an emergency patient during his last moments just to tell you to move away so that they can park their ambulance in.Not only making my father to wait for Covid 19 test,more than 10 doctors & nurses just had to stand there to say nothing can be done with ECG machine and the defibrillator (the machine that gives shock to bring the heart rate back). We were ready to take responsibility for whatever happened and we were ready to pay how much ever money they wanted, but they were so heartless to say we cant do anything. Though his heart was pumping no actions were taken.After wasting all the time of my father in earth they suggested us to go to another hospital.How merciful of them to not try to save a soul and let him die

My wife delivered our baby on 11 Dec 2019 and thanks to doctor uma / doctor tara it was normal and the sutures were done by a duty doctor who was completely negligent where in front of my wife itself she was complaining about the quality of sutures which was breaking multiple times due to which they tried doing it multiple times which caused a huge wound near the delivery area which took almost four months to heal. .when we took my wife to emergency as her sutures came off due to negligence of duty doctor the same duty doctor rudely replied why you ppl are visiting at this time when my shift is about to end. . We have written complained on her with all details but still no response or reply. . This is how pathetic their service was..the main doctors are sweet hearts but the duty doctors/nurses are devils who spoil the names of the awesome gynaecology doctors and the management doesnt respond or care whatever you complain

Hospital is located in prime location, experienced doctors with good infrastructure. Recently went for medical checkup, intended to perform surgery in short notice. When reached out to front desk for room booking, informed to contact another executive and when I reached him, he told to wait till 9 PM to get the room confirmation (but, surgery is on 6 AM next day). And, reached out to insurance help desk after sharing my medical insurance ref no, that executive asked me to share additional five documents in an hour and also, he is not sure whether this will be eligible for claim process. I had already been stressed due to illness, with above lengthy processes, I was forcibly moved to another hospital to perform the surgery. Requesting management to simplify the procedures related to surgery (in short notice) and expecting the staff should be trained more user-friendly and caring the patient

In the name of normal delivery, they are doing very high risk procedure, that causes lot of issues to both child and mother. Even cost also not big threat to us, but the future of baby is very important for us. They are not intimating to the parents about their risk procedures. They have taken it as granted. Be aware of their delivery procedure before you going to this hospital. Very irresponsible hospital. stay away from them.

They made us wait for half an hour and the doctor didnt diagnose anything and the nurse told to admit. When we refused, they charged RS 250 for registration, RS 330 for consultation and RS 180 for instant blood sugar test with needle.I fail to understand if they are part of foundation, why do they loot public by charging 250 RS for registration and 330 RS for consultation ( doctor didnt diagnose )They simply loot our hard earned money. Best hospital for maternity in Chennai.Treatment wise awesome.Especially for maternity they really are so cautious and give correct dose medicine and never go for c section unless it is very much required.They give good explanation and many suggestions to reduce the issues in our body without medicines.Prime location which makes life easy to get to the hospital.Variety of doctors available so it becomes all in one place of service.They give respect to all kinds of patients and there is no partially shown to anyone.They have a good canteen and cafeteria facility.Emergency treatment is also so good.They accept most of high end insurance companies for cash less treatment for admission.Cons:Always crowded and we need to wait atleast for 3 hours even if appointment is fixed for paediatric.

Please do not opt for SMF for any hospitization here. The charges are high and they charge amount differently. Please do not go for cashless it is even worse. You only get 40% of bill amount.

Admitted dad in emergency to treat his heart problems. The first downside is they are not empanelled in many insurance companies list. Second is the doctors dont tell you what exactly is happening and what they intend to do next. They act like all the patients relatives are illiterate idiots. And third, they wont refer you to the hospital of your choice even if you insist on that.If you have hard cash in your pockets and ready to spend it, this is the place to go. The only upsides are cleanliness and equipment availability.

I have delivered my baby on Feb 14th in smf main. Normal delivery only. But in labour room the nurses and sisters are the worst I have seen. Treating the pregnancy ladies very harshly by speaking to them. All pregnant ladies will be in pain during labour but even that time also some sisters were harshly doing their duties for the sake of work. I am telling this by my own experience. Management should take proper action on those sisters who are talking harshly to labour room patients

Hospital & doctors are money minded. They will collect money even for showing medical report & tell us to wait for a week for appointment (just to show the report). Even after reaching hospital on time. They tell us to wait in token system. Then what for they are giving appointment i dont know. Sep-29-2019, when we had breakfast morning, Idly, sambar, chatni is Worster, Very Bad Quality. Why SMF Trust managing these kind of Low quality food for Patient, Patient attenders.

Very bad response from the, labor ward staff, where I was waiting with no information for over 10 min. Later they informed there was no bed for the patient getting treated hear itself. But a nurse separately bargained with my husband for the labour. Thought it was a false alarm for me and the same was confirmed by their hospital sonographer, yet nurse was influencing my husband that they can induce labour in 33rd week and then if required they can opt for normal delivery or c session.

Had such a worst experience with SMF obstetricians.. When admitted in emergency you are supposed to attend the patient immediately.. rather Doctor Srividhya was roaming around the rooms using her phone chatting on Whatsapp.. The patient had to wait for more than 45mins in the emergency with heavy bleeding.. none of the doctors gave the proper diagonosis..The scan was again a nightmare.. the way the doctor performed ultrasound Transvaginal scan to the patient made the out os open and the patient had heavy bleeding and none of the gynaecologist were able to point out the proper reason..It was a good hospital long back but now it gives poor service and their only motto has become money..

Worst emergency ward! . This is the second time in two days that I visited Sundaram medical foundation emergency. No sense of urgency among staff . Nurses are 25 yrs old and they keep chitchatting and giggling. The first time I visited, no medication was given saying that my condition will get better by itself and I ended up suffering the whole day. The second time I visited, I had to scream at a couple of them just to give a request to take ECG and blood sample. This is unacceptable for a hospital that old and reputed.

We went to SMF for delivery, we felt the hospital will provide best quality treatment and services, but the experience was disappointing. The hospital staff are lethargic and we regret of choosing this hospital for treatment specially for delivery.1) No proper response from labour ward nurse, i was waiting outside for hours and hardly any message was given about my wifes health and tentative time of delivery. We were highly depressed and stressed during that time with no information from labour ward.2) In-patient nurse did not respond immediately for our request. I had to request and remind multiple times even for small work.i requested nurse to inform duty doctor to check our new born for jaundice at 8.30 pm, however the doctor visited the room at 2 am.The nurse took our new born to extract blood for testing at 6am after few hours they came back and told me that the blood extracted was not sufficient to test and they had to redo extraction and took my new born to neonatal department.Even at 6 am they punctured our new born hand twice, when I asked they told me that they couldnt find the correct nerve and had to do twice.My new born hand was swollen for 2 days due to multiple puncture for blood test.3) there is no food option for attenders. I went to the in house coffee shop at midnight to grap cup of coffee for us, the canteen guy refused for takeaway and asked us to have coffee at the shop or bring our own tumbler to take coffee to the room.4) escalator wont come to 5th floor, There are many times i waited for 15 mins after pressing the button. It mostly operated between 0,1 and 2 by the operator. I had walked the steps more than i used the escalator.The hospital fee is not less compare to other higher range hospitals. However the services are not comparable with other good hospitals.I had seen same complaints made my multiple people in google review.Hope the management take necessary action and provide better services.The gyn doctor sivagami was ok. Apart from that nothing much to say good about this hospital.If you go for a routine followup / consultation(be it gynaecology or paediatric) you have to wait atleast 3 hours to meet the doctor even after booking appointments. There are times, we had to wait for 4 hours just to have a general checkup.

WORST HOSPITAL I HAVE SEEN IN MY LIFE !! government hospital is better than this... we took patient to emergency after accident at 9.30 till 1 they never took x ray or put any stitches... the doc was faking it will take time... patients are ter in x ray room... when I said ter is no one .. they took the patient inside.. reports will come after 2 hrs.. and the wound was bleeding continuously. ... so from 9.30 to 2 the wound was bleeding slowly. No actions taken... they said orthopedic doc will come after 2 hrs but he was standing right ter and other nurses all lying ... dono wat to tell...

Horrible rooms, 2400/- for a sharing based room, room is with lot of mosquitoes, nothing happened even after complaining. Its nightmare for us staying there, bathrooms are very very stinky and dirty, never go there for admission, worst hospital, go only for OP services and emergency, they are actually good, but never ever get admitted there. Uploaded a video of room worth 2400/-, please watch before getting admitted. You will end up having mosquito born diseases, if admitted there. Also mandatorily carry a mosquito bat. You will have sleepless nights there.

A doctor profession is equal to god thats how it is designed handling a life they should treat to there own life .. but that is not in sundaram foundation i lost my lovely daughter who got admitted in ICU .. the most arrogant and attitued doctors who treated her n killed her in just 5 days .. like me there are so many people who lost there loved ones as my point I dont see a human doctors . One of the worst hospital in handling the patients. Admitted here for a maternity surgery, room is not alloted even after the completion of surgery. They make to wait for 4 hours without room. Admission people treat you like beggars. Never say yes to this hospital.

Emergency ward is a moor market, so loud, group of doctors and staff chatting and laughing so loudly throughout..., esp the night shift doctors are just having a gala time. Besides when I complained about the noise that caused me severe headache, they simply said that emergency ward means like that only. They are so expensive yet the Doctors don’t know their responsibilities. Atrocious!

You can Opt this hospital for its specialised doctors.But my experience in the labour ward was really bad. I really went through so much pain and trauma. The nurses there were very harsh!! . They just wanted their duty to be done, they didn’t want to make the patient feel comfortable or assist me to even walk to the restroom. The moment I stepped into the delivery ward with pain the nurse was so causal about it rather asking me anything apart from my doc’s name and made me wait until she gets things clarified. When a patient comes in pain the basic thing they must do it atleast show them a plac to sit. The nurse was so disinterested in her job and she was not spontaneous. She treated me as though I was asking favour from her .Later , As I was unable to walk with so much pain, I pleaded one of them to help me walk till the restroom but no one assisted me!Such an experience just put me into so much mental pressure that I couldn’t come out of the trauma for nearly a month after delivery. Though I had a normal delivery , all the nurses kept blaming and yelling at me for me crying in pain. Only the duty doctor there was polite and professional.They focus on normal delivery but the way the nurses treat the patient is treated was really unprofessional. Hope SMF trains their nurses to be professional or appoint new ones. Only because of such behaviour of few nurses there the whole reputation is ruined.Had I known his before I would have not come here.

Worth to wait in SMF to meet pediatrician Dr. Sendil kumar, He is good and Humble Doctor, Lots and lots of tips for my baby health, Thanks to SMF & Dr. Sendil.

My wife was admitted in SMF for delivery, Dr. Sivakama sundari is a doctor, so friendly and explain all my doubts & How to take care my wife and baby its very useful, overall service and patientcare is good very helping minded staffs nurses and totally I am very happy about that my wife and child this now healthy, Thanks to SMF.

Very worst experiencing in SMF hosp . I visited today Dr Prasanth kekre(spine specialist) for my father .. he didnt even speak properly and I felt like he is not interested in treating patients.. 6days back first we visited him and he asked to pay Rs.500 and today we visited again he asked to pay Rs.500 again, which is very bad..ppl visiting here are mostly middle class & how can a doctor charge fees for viewing reports.. and more than this.. this doctor doesnt have heart.. my parents were feeling bad since his MRI scan showed few problems doctor failed to mentioned that.. more than that he doesnt even know Tamil properly its shame for that hospital.. pls guys dont visit him..there are better doctors than him in the city

The really worst hospital in Chennai my advise do go with this hospital. Hospitality care and treatment is too high, digonstic not done properly l, actually there is tie-up with scan and sending for unnecessary test. Actually thats not required when I checked with second opinion doctor. Its really worst no experienced doctor. Long time for seeing doctor even you booked appointment with doctor.

Unprofessional. Not very polite.There maybe few good doctors here but there certainly are ones who need training in basic things like how to treat a patient with kindness.They are already in pain. They dont need your attitude! In my limited experience here...It feels like they have a mixed bag of doctors. They dont have an xray machine that works. P.s. no parking in the hospital premises. Kauvery feels like a better place...

Its not hospital, SMF is a mortuary or graveyard. Where doctors/nurses are idots. they dont even have common sense. They ask their trainees to handle for emergency case.Dr. V.K Shantha is fraud. were 80% of pregnancy cases handled by her, but she wont even come to the building where delivery happens(labour ward). She used to come and show her face during discharge. This thing not happened only for me but also for many people.I saw so many people in waiting hall, said the same before that happens me. a guy also said I am staying here from yesterday night to till now(morning), Also Dr. Shantha V.K is our consulting doctor, But she not even come here.Whoever comes to SMF graveyard thinks that Dr. Shantha. V.K only will deliver the baby because she is our consulting doctor. But Mark my word, she will never come. you will be bullied at last.I would have given negative rating , but theres no way, thats why i gave 1 star, not even deserve for 1 star.

Very worst experience with this hospital I quit now in my 7th month of my pregnancy. Really bad, the doctors dont come on time and they make us wait for long time. That too the way they treat the patients are like as if we are uneducated and illiterate they answer to us impolitely. Never ever go to this Hospital for pregnancy reasons. Never ever go. Please choose some other maternity hospital not a good multi-speciality hospital to keep your self safe and your baby safe. Specially to OG doctor Sivagama Sundari, worst experience in my lifetime life have a very impolite doctor. Seriously, never ever go even she is gonna treat for free. Very worst. Dont go go go! Only money is their motto . I would give no 0 rating for this hospital
