Went to my father in laws cataract operation.. Very supportive helpers in the hospital especially tamilselvi mam was very helpful and provided much informations and clarified all my doubts in very calm manner., which wont happen in any hospital according to my hospital visit experience..

My mothers cataract surgery was successful with no issues or complications. counsellor Mrs Tamil Selvi is a good professional she handles each patients with care and empathy. She deserves a compliment.The overall service is good however the admission and entry process needs improvement. Also there is no car parking in front so be careful if you are bringing car, you have to find a place on road for parking.

Wonderful job by Dr. Nirmal one of the best eye surgeon in south chennai. Last week I did my cataract surgery, he did a excellent job and the surgery is successful. And I thank Mrs. Tamilselvi she is the best Counsellor, she treats the patients with good care and with empathy. She really deserves a loads of compliment. Thanks for the best services. But there is no sufficient parking for the people who commute in car.

Overall bit happy with the hospital , treated my mom for a cataract surgery. Staffs were patient enough to answer the queries. Highly responsible staffs. Housekeeping and cleaning was satisfactory. Admission process was good and the fees was explained clearly and way higher. Highly qualified doctors. Could easily go through the process with ease. Overall satisfied and will update the outcome of the surgery and healing process with follow up too.Update after surgery- But the fees is too high when compared to other hospitals. Which is quite notable. Also fees to be paid for subsequent followups after cataract. Every visit will cost 300 to 500 bucks. We visited a month later as my mom has irritationn in the eye in which surgery completed, for this followup they charged us . Which is quite abnormal. Every time mask has to purchased at the counter costs rupees 10, but I paid for surgery that is around 63000 rupees.I dont recommend this hospital if you are cost conscious. Can check other hospitals where we could complete the cataract with half the price. My mothers cataract for one eye with imported lens costed 63000 rupees, wherein other hospitals it is only around 40k all inclusive

My moms cataract surgery was performed here today. we are undergoing here glaucoma treatment too for years. The hospital founder Dr. Nirmal himself performed her the operation smoothly. Nurses were all very helpful and patient, especially Tamil Selvi who answered so many of our calls in her away from hospital time too.

Receptionist is not professionally trained and bit rude. They dont dilate eyes for checkup. Nurse says doctor has to direct for dilation and doctor says nurse has to dilate eyes. There is bit of miscommunication but ultimately patient dont get proper checkup. They charge Rs 500 for eye checkup but quality is not up to the mark.

First of all the Rating and review is fake because the nurse is forcing us to give 5 star rating and good review about the hospital. The nurse gets our phone and gives the 5 star rating and review. Secondly the waiting time is more.Before few years Dr. Nirmal was good and he was in mindset to serve people with low cost. But now he changed alot. He is in mindset of doing business. For everything he tells to take scan and the scan price is also high.This the scenario i faced: I faced a common problem in eye. Dr.Nirmal sir checked and told me to take a scan and the scan amount was nearly 7K. Due to my financial background i cant afford and i consulted the other doctor of another hospital and she checked me and told its normal and no need to worry.Conclusion: The rating is given by the patients mobile by forcing them to give 5-Star. Nowadays money-minded.

Yesterday I went along with my wife to see Dr Fredrick Nirmal for my wifes eye treatment. As my wife is suffering from Dry eye syndrome they took the Dry eye assessment Ocular surface Analyser test and charged me Rs.1,200. Dr. Fredrick prescribed my wife some eye drops and tablets and asked to come after one month. Before leaving Dr. Fredrick I just asked Dr. Fredrick whether this is an acute problem, immediately he told that the attenders are coming in the middle and asking questions with half knowledge . Also he told me that he does not have the time to repeat the problem to me and also mentioned that I wouldnt understand the issue even if he explained it to me. He also mentioned that the attenders(my) job is to only see whether the patient is applying/taking the medicines on time. The way Dr. Fredrick spoke to the me ( the husband of the patient) is very unprofessional and deplorable. Also, how can he generalize all the attendants, as I am visiting him for the first time.Also, whenever you come to the hospital you need to keep three hours time aside as if the patients and the attendant have no other job.

Lots of wait time!! Definitely, this can be avoided by organizing lot better. No prior appointments.Minimum 2 to 3 hours of wait time. This is not a one-off case. This is how it is always. I have visited 2 times in the last 1 month. Even in the past I have experienced the same.Patients have other health issues too. You cannot make them wait for so long.Really very frustrating!!Below is the timeline. Date visited 21Feb2021.3.10 pm - reached hospitalFollowed up couple of times to take the registration. After 15 mins of wait time only they gave me the registration form to fill.3.30 pm - registration is complete4.30 pm - After 1 hr of wait time they called for power check up. 10 mins power check up.5..40 pm - again after more than 1 hour of wait time only I was sent to the doctor and he suggested for dilation. Was told 30 mins for dilation.5.50 pm - dilation drops applied to eye6.40 pm - visited the doctor again after dilationUnderstand the lead time for dilation and consultation time. By seeing the above timeline, I strongly feel the wait time could have been considerably reduced.

Worst business centre. I went here with my mom for cataract eye check up. They charged me 500 rs for registration fee... I dont know why that fee is.. They didnt adviced power too.. No prescription and no check up report... They give one pamplet and registration form...

I got to know about this hospital when my doctor asked me to take a OCD scan at this centre.Its too early to tell about the services but at first instance Im really impressed with the patience of the management response for all negative and positive comments with convincing facts.There are so many hospitals are there where you will miss the cleanliness and over crowd.I could see they are spending lot of money in infrastructure and facilities like AC, housekeeping and building maintenance which are all cost incurring one. hence they cannot charge like a hospital run by trust (for eg : hindu mission hospital and sankara ).

It seems Dr. Nirmal charges 700 rupees for a consultation and not 400 as mentioned in some reviews. I agreed to pay such an exorbitant fees but changed my decision not to money the doctor when I was asked to buy a new face mask in their medical store. Cant the hospital provide a 10 rupee mark when they charge too much? Isnt it fleecing?
