The delivery was prompt. However the quality of food is meh. 350 rs without rice is really expensive that too for only 4 items. Maybe the quantity is fine. But quality is more important than quantity. The food went cold by the time it was delivered. So youd be screwed if you dont have a microwave. The potatoes were undercooked and the sambar was pathetic as I couldnt differentiate between it and the Rasam looking at it. Rasam and Spinach were okayish.In my opinion its okay once in a while but definitely not worth buying regularly.

Very impressed with the quality of food and timely delivery. We ordered breakfast, lunch and dinner. The menu for each day was different and the way it was packaged was really good. Highly recommend for anyone looking to order home cooked south indian food.

Horrible food, it came in plastic boxes, the Sambhar was runny as though they were adding water to increase quantity, the potato curry was off the mark,will never order again, did not even give a bill

The order is not serviced properly. We used to order special meals whenever they offer. But day before yesterday the delivery person bring regular meals only. When enquired they told us that the special meals is over and requested to accept the regular meals. How come the ordered meals be not delivered.On another day, previously, the delivery was not done till 2.30 P M and the people at office was also not picking up the phone and answering. We were put to much trouble that too on this corona time, as we have to order food from somewhere else. In short not dependable. Food also not upto the mark and not value for money. I have decided to avoid in future.

250 Rupees without Rice is very costly .I took only Sambar in a container charged 50 rupees. Quantity is very less.Customers automatically will stop once they experience.

For Vegetarians, Full meals and limited meals are available, taste of the food is excellent.Ambiance is average, around 200 mts. distance from the Vadapalani signal located at 100 ft. Road towards Koyembedu.Car parking is difficult, two wheeler parking is available. Price seems to be bit expensive for the full meal.

Maavadu provides quality food however their delivery operation is very bad. They grew their customer base without scaling their ground operation. If you order food especially dinner with them be prepared for delay and be prepared to source quickly from another source. Brinjal and ladies finger are not supplied. Other caterers supply Avial, but these people don’t supply. These people little realise that customer service is very important for their survival. They should realise that they exist because of the customer patronage. They are not supplying anything free: in fact the margin of profit is huge. I hope they will realise this.

They claim to deliver all over chennai yet when I asked for delivery at Iyyapanthangal they said that they dont deliver in that area. First they said they will but a 1 week subscription has to be paid. I asked them to send first for 1 day so my aunt could try out the food ..... then they said they dont deliver in that area. How can people pay for 1 week without tasting the food? Very unprofessional way of doing business.

We ordered dinner for 4 people . It included chapathi (4)/ idli(3) , one curry for chapathi and kothamali chutney.The chapathi had foul smell .. we immediately called them to report the same . They mentioned they had no one to come back and examine the quality of the food and finally said there isn’t much they can do about it .Extremely disappointed about the service and the support offered to the customerThe coriander chutney was very liquid almost to the consistency of a juice .This is the first and last time we would order food from them . I had ordered Vinayagar Chaturthi Special Lunch to be delivered on Thursday, 13th September 2018. I had paid Rs. 300/- for the lunch and also as requested by them paid Rs. 50 for delivery charges. Unfortunately Chintadripet, Chennai - 2 is out of delivery area for them for which they charge 50 for delivery. To my shock till 2.30PM the lunch was not delivered but committed to be delivered on or before 12.30PM itself. I tried reaching all their contact numbers but none were responding. They didnt have the courtesy to call and inform that the delivery will be delayed. After all tamasha it got delivered around 2.30PM. Unforgettable Vinayagar Chaturthi in my LIFE TIME. Very POOR Customer support and coordination.

Worst service for ganesh chathurthi...ordered many days in advance for elderly senior citizens....they have been waiting for food till evening nothing turned up...no phone call is being picked up...and a ruthless message late evening saying due to logistics they could not deliver to some locations...seriously worst customer service ever....they r supposed to compensate for this deadly error.....and they have messed up with so many people hunger ....these people did not have any consideration to have the courtesy to inform /call each affected order. Atleast people could have made alternative arrangements...u should atleast give a months meal free for all the affected people ....i dont know what selfishness and bad management made you guys do this, so many people have been affected ....remember Karma is going to get you all in a much bigger way ......all the peoples curses are on your entire team...

For the past few months, I had been hearing about a catering service called MAAVADU.IN and all that I heard about them was positive. I guess it was this that prompted me and my family to order for their Vinayaka Chathurthi Virundhu. Very eagerly awaited them but it was a great disappointment for us as we didnt get a response from their side till 2:35 pm.They had advertised that they will deliver food by 12:30 pm to all areas in Chennai. Am not able to figure out how and why they made such a false promise.Communication is the key for customer service.When you are not able to keep up your word it is definitely your duty to communicate the same to the customers. We had been trying few numbers associated with maavadu.in for quite a long time but everything was out of reach. At least they could have taken care to communicate their logistics issue so that we would have found an alternative solution pretty earlier. I have two senior citizens at home who are supposed to take medicines for sugar and BP after lunch. So this was a very bad and the worst experience for our family. VINAYAKA CHATHURTHI VIRUNDHU TURNED OUT TO BE VINAYAKA CHATHURTHI VRIDHAM because of MAAVADU.IN . Hope u people at least reimburse the money paid for the order as early as possible. And Never Make False Promises.

Taste was awful.2. Second meal, upma had gone bad by the time it was eaten.3. Third meal, it looked like pongal, but tasted like bland kanji. Couldnt identify the vegetable in the koottu.4. Fourth meal was so bad we cancelled the order.They insisted on placing an order for at least one week as trial. The quality of the food was so bad that we had to cancel after 2 days. They havent refunded the balance even after 4weeks and multiple follow up. They keep dodging our calls and make false promises.

Worst. They took an order for vinayagachaturthi lunch for couple. Cost was rs.300 and they said to deliver to ayanavaram they will require an additional rs.50 which was agreed upon. They promised to deliver between 12.30 and 1pm but not delivered at all till 1.45 noon. No communication was also done for non deliverance and no response on their landline also. It was ordered for a very elderly couple who are also patients who have to eat on time. If it not deliverable as committed it has to be refused at the time of ordering itself. This is not at all fair

A scam they took advance promising lunch on Vinayak Chaturthi and collected cash promising lunch by noon. Today nobody picking up phone and no response well past 12 noon the delivery time now is 13.10 A great way to collect money promising food and walk away.
