Excellent varieties of non-veg foods. Special item for the day was baby vanjram fry and taste was excellent. For vegetarian like me there was less option to choose. Veg meals, butter naan, ordinary naan with varieties of veg gravies. Food items were very tasty. Good customer service. Good ambience and lighting. Overall good place to dine with family and friends.

I understand this is mostly a non vegetarian restaurant but that doesnt mean the restaurant should not have nothing to serve vegetarians when one accompanies a non veg eater!Had to go for veg pulao because everything else basically out of a very few options wasnt available.. As the person taking down the order shrugged off veg eh? 😡Now.. The veg pulao that was served was a sad looking lemon rice and just to spice it up they threw on some veggies ND a bay leaf with a few cloves!Had I known vegetarian was so barbaric pufffffff.Not even an onion salad was served as an accompaniment!I would never ever go to this restaurant again..Vegetarian is where the food industry is moving towards.. So people back up.. ND dare you shrug off again 😡

Good old Chettinad fare, with a smattering of North Indian dishes (that they could do without).Try from their selection of biriyanis (available in chicken, mutton and prawn). Their kababs are also very good though a bit spicy if not used to it.A good place for a quick bite, when youre in the mood for some spicy, non-veg food!

Portion of the starters and gravies(Paneer, Mutton Kothu Curry) servedwere very little. Earlier it used to be better. Also we ordered for lemon juice, they said it wasnt available. Then we asked for alternate, then they provided sweet lime, it was full of bitter taste. Kids refused to have the juices and we wanted to cancel the juice order. They said its already included in the bill and cant reverse it. They promised to provide the juices made of good fruits. Finally same juice came with more sugar added to it. Again it was tasting bitter only but this time with tons of sugar (which is not at all a good idea). Kids didnt like the way it was served (same juice with more sweetness). Anjappar restaurant/management has to take a look at these kind of incidents. Thank you.

If youre planning to have vegetarian food, better avoid this. This is the first time I experienced a vegetable biryani and veg Pulav with added sugar.Thought to have a nice chettinadu style recipes, but in vain.

Anjappar is one of the best restaurants that you can trust to have food. The quality of food is good and the taste is also awesome. Though the rate is bit in the higher side.. its still one of the best.

One of my favourite Restaurant was Anjappar brand. Even when I visited NY once, searched this hotel and had good Lunch. But after eating food here (in this brach), really thought how come this chain was so pathetic than compared to other branches. Received the taste of Tomato rice only when we ordered Chicken Biriyani or Mutton Biriyani. This is one of the reason always this branch will have only less visitors or crowd. I have shared the feedback with respective Branch supervisor, they not even realised that food quality was very average compared to other branches. Please revisit the Quantity Review for this branch - whats the use of good interior design, if the purpose of the restaurant NOT upto the expectations.

If you prefer South Indian nonveg food, that too with variety and reasonable cost, I would recommend Anjappar always. This outlet at ECR is with good ambiance and friendly staffs, clean floor and comfortable seats. Good choice for casual dinner or for big lunch.

I went to Anjappar in pallavakkam. The service in this place is nice and fast. Food spicy and tasty is so good.

Very bad service. Ordered non-veg meals for myself and veg meals for my wife. Theres absolutely no difference between the both as I struggled to find a piece of meat. The staff was clueless about the difference between normal and special meals. Disappointing experience I must say.

I liked Anjappar poricha chicken fry here. This is my second time review , first time I had bad experience the coin parotta is not cooked properly. When we there second time the lunch is awesome. I would recommend to go this shop on Sunday you will get lot of varieties for ex Anjappar side dish combo(Nethili fish fry, mutton fry, mutton liver fry, chicken fry, Kadai fry) and Arab grape juice is awesome taste.
