A very large school with over 10k students. Each class has over 50 students. The school fares reasonably good in academics. If the student is bright, he/she will be recognised. (Considering the large number of students per class, it may be difficult for the teachers to give individual attention to each student.) The school does take initiatives in some of the extracurricular activities such as sports, music etc. Based in my experience, the school is ranked above average.

Most of the good reviews you see here are either lies, or from biased students who had a good life here due to friendship, and partiality from the teachers. I studied here for so many years, and all that I can say is that there are only a few efficient teachers, barbaric management, no dignity for students, highly sexist, poorly maintained infrastructure, teachers show favouritism towards their pets, and wards of the staff, no English, no decent Tamil either. Worst are the physical, and verbal abuses by teachers to students here. If you dont trust me, you can ask students who have studied here. Im sure that atleast 7 in every 10 will horrifically recount the verbal, and physical assaults they endured in this school, and those are just covered up by the management. So, rethink before you send your kids to this dreadful place.

Too many students in one class. They have class strength up to 65. No individual attention given. Infrastructure is really good.

Awesome school to be..Has a legacy and a long list of notable alumni.Admissions nearly impossible to any other classes other than Kindergarten.Teaching quality has come down from its once mighty standards of quality they maintained..Situated in the prime Anna Nagar. Cool kids, mostly rich parents, great ambience.. a great place to be!Some stupidity also exists like during exams they don’t allow parents even within their gates and thereby blocking the road outside!!

We came here for the hindu school chess tournament 2017..School is clean and its situated easily identified location..Very good auditorium and centralized ac hall..Class rooms and play grounds are maintained well..School staff gave full support for this event.

No concern for the ex student. So much partiality in the school. Teachers dont even know what to teach. They just tell the students to mug up everything. I studied here for 12 yrs. Bt didnt know their dirty games played with students lives, only when I changed my school I understood everything. Students speak foul languages in the school and teachers dont care abt it. The school seems to be interested only in acquiring more students and making money. They have posters about saving the environment, but have cut good trees to make sheds. They don’t save rainwater, instead let it fall on the road by means of a long pipe onto west gate road. Ironically they buy water every day. If they had a rain water harvesting system, the roads wouldn’t be ruined, plus water could be saved. When they have events like annual day coming up, rehearsals are throughout the day, wonder how children will cope. Plus the noise is ear shattering and unbearable.

It is one of the old school established in the 80s and still attracts students but its popularity waning you basis. But more importantly the morning hour traffic. The police officers must make some arrangements in this regard.

Good school with a great infrastructure. But too many students in one section. Also they are demanding more money during admission. We are given a blank paper where we need to note down how much donation we would be giving. If the donation amount is less, then you would be denied admission.

An amazing school. Have spent Std. 2 to Std. 9th here and the experience has been great. The management and the quality of teachers here is by far one of the best as compared to other schools. I currently reside in Noida, UP and have to say that the quality of education in South India is far better than what it is Im north India. And this school is one of the bests and the finest anyone could ever find in Chennai City. Im proud to be an alumnus of this school. Although, I feel school wouldve improved on the infrastructure as the infrastructure isnt as good as compared to other competitive schools in Chennai. Overall, amazing experience.

Sboa Annanagar school is going worst year to year even the chairs for the students are not provided properly. Most of the time they are asked to sit down and chairs without backrest. .this is true just visit the classes overcrowded. Restrooms are stincky. Which spread disease. Some whomsoever please take some action. It is the life of thousands of students.

My son Arsalan is studying 3rd standard in SBOCJC school, Good infrastructure and motivation for sports activities. Teachers are well trained and no pressure for kids for studies.

Ms Abirami, who teaches chemistry at the SBOA School and Junior College, a school run by the State Bank of India Officers Association, says she was suspended the same day after she said a multi-faith prayer before her students took their board exam. She claims the multi-faith prayer was unacceptable for the school as it has a tacit Christian prayer in place. Whats wrong in an all religion prayer? We teach children about secularism and democracy. First I said Hindu prayer, then Christian prayer and then an Islamic prayer. The same day they issued me suspension order on false charges.

To be simple its like Loyola college......self dabbaIts best if you wanna enjoy ur school ....They conduct a lot of school cultural fests...,.at times it would be common to wonder if such fests ever arrived...😂but any how photos would be there in the magazine.....so confined and confidential while held....U will have to study at ur own effort..only a few teachers here are reliable and concept oriented...,A big ground is the only happy thing u could find here......To be truthful ...its a best skl for kg to 4th...after that the standard decreases .....

Infrastructure is amazing. Bathrooms are clean and spacious. Very huge campus. More than 1 huge playground. One can play all kinds of sports. Teachers are awesome. The lectures are so amazing and teachers are highly qualified. School conducts interschool competitions regularly. Various sports tournaments are held. With the pros, comes cons. Too many tests are held ( every other week). If you are attending coaching for jee or neet, its gonna be hard for you. The school is going to ask you to quit it and attend their classes regularly. The school wants you to get an average of 80% in each subject. Coaching classes are held regularly. The school timings are too long (8 hrs) and if you are asked to attend tht remedial classes, youre gonna have to stay another 2 hours. This is gonna put a lot of pressure on the student. Formalities for taking a day off is exhausting. No study holidays or half days during exams ( this is very bad as the student is forced to get a minimum of 80% by studying for about 5 hrs in the evening hours). If you dont mind the cons and youre all about putting yourself or your kids through that kind of pressure, then go ahead and join.
