For those who are traveling from Chennai Central. Take metro from railway station to Airport metro station. Ticket Rs 40/-. Come out, cross the road and catch a bus to Pallavaram Rs 11/-. (Direct Buses from Chennai Central to Pallavaram are available. But metro will make your, otherwise hectic journey, very comfortable) Alight there, walk forward for about 150 meters and cross the road again. You will get bus number 66 to kundrathur bus stand. Charge Rs 8 to 17/- depending on the type of bus. From Kundrathur, take a share auto which will cost you Rs. 30. Buses 89T and 576a are also available but the intervel between them is very long. IDZ is behind the main block of Chennai Institute of Technology. The campus is simply superb.

One of the better centre as per my wife. Facilities provided inside was up to the mark.Systems were good...seating was nice.. Washroom facility was available inside hall itself.Only missing point was locker facility for keeping the valuables.

3rd Ion digital zone in Chennai. It is located inside Chennai Institute of Technology, kundrathur exact opposite to the cricket stadium. Located 30 kms from Velachery and 16 kms from Pallavaram.My first visit to this center was for RBI assistants 2019. Since then I came here for 2 other examinations during pandemic period. Ambience was good. There are lots of place to sit and relax for accompanying persons. Canteen facilities were available, so there is no need to worry about food availability as this center is located outside city limits. But since pandemic, canteen was not functioning normally so plan well if youre alloted for 2nd and 3rd shift. Parking purely at our own risk as the college management wont allow to park inside or near the gate so one have to park in roadside. Same applies for bags you have to kept outside the lab but tokens available for purse and mobile.Center having two main labs 1 & 2 each divided to 4. Both were spacious and but not air conditioned. Restroom facilities were available. Some systems were outdated and needed to be replaced.Route suggestion.. Take Thiruneermalai main road route or Pallavaram route based upon your choice, if youre coming by car, pallavaram route is most preferred. DONT PREFER KISKINTA ROUTE as it will take time and roads were not good and dangerous during rainfall.

College place is good and clean..... Ion digital centre is good place to conduct exams which were held by all central government computer based tests...

It is a bit difficult to reach by public transport......but once in, great place for those who accompany candidates.

No proper notice boards and guidance very far from chennai located at outskirts of chennai. Early on time will help you 👍

There is no proper bus connectivity or any other public transport available to reach this place. If u are coming here for exam from a long distance or out of city or other districts better u can forget writing the exams. They wont even allow u to enter even if u come at sharp timings.Mainly if any Google map link was given with your admit card dont believe because it will mostly direct you to the backside of the college.A Review by a Candidate who was not allowed to write the exam here

Public Transport is an issue, rest all good.

This digital zone is for writing online exam for different organisations.This place is So far away from the city.The guidance to reach this place is not proper.There is no proper connectivity via bus.The easiest way to reach here is by share Autos.( From kundrathur and Poonamallee)They cost around RS 30 per person.(high)There are very few MTC buses operated on this region.

Far from main city. They allowed 2 wheeler and 4 wheeler parking in a field nearby.

The campus is amazing, enough seating space and parking available, good and helpful staff.The overall experience was smooth.

Ion Digital Zone is within Chennai Institute of Technology campus in Kundrathur, pretty decent place and lot of greenery. Map location is correct in Google.

Nightmare destination to reach. I dont know when there are so many colleges within the city TCS like companies want to choose these destinations as the venues for the exam. So so far no or very very limited public transport to reach iON digital zone. This is nothing but exploitation of the pitiable plight of students and their parents. Even before getting a job in these companies students are being treated like this. i dont what will happen if they get a job. Cant imagine what they will have to under go god help.

Good.i had gone there to attend aiims examination.it is inside the Chennai institute of technology campus.the place is not crowded.lot of greenery and places to sit.cafeterias are also good.well organised centre for conducting exams.but no washrooms inside the hall compared to other idzs.drinking water facility is also very less.staffs are good and helpful.Route from Chennai central railway station -take bus no 88c or 188 to kundrathoor from there take share auto.Or Chennai central to thambaram .thambaram to kundrathoor

Dont follow google maps , search for chennai institute main gate. Cab Dropped me at back of college. Fortunately found my way to main gate.

Route from chengalpet : Reach tambaram and then take bus no. 66 to reach Kundrathur...from there take share auto costs rs.20.
