Despite the funny comments of some parents I have to say that the take away for my child Preety was remarkable. Starting at the front desk where Mrs Varshni was working I have to say, she always had this wonderful pleasant smile and was so caring about the children when they came in. When people were swinging by she always was ready for a winning and funny chat. My daughter still talks about her and admires her.Apart from that her teachers Ms Jessy and Ms Anita really also became role models for my daughter and I remember also the the funny pizza sessions with Mr Thomas. All in all it was a great time despite the absurd rules which were enforced from the government .The school with the animals and all the caring people left a trace in the heart of my little child as well for us as parents. So all the love and flowers to you and your organisation. Keep it up like that!P.S. Don’t let bad people give you hard times because they themselves probably have been victims in their school life and still are.

My name is Jessy, I was a teacher at GERMAN INTERNATIONAL ACADEMYAs a former teacher I feel blessed to have been part of the school – I learned during my journey at German international Academy not only about teaching at its best I developed skills for my personal development. Mr Thomas was very particular and supportive his quote was if you want to be a role model for our children you have to first understand yourself and be in ease with yourself. His best statement was: Its good to know where you are coming from but better to know where you are going to – he meant to visualize goals and make them come true.The school is and was an outstanding positive experience and not only for me. I think we mis learned to be in tune with what we have. So staying in the moment and be in ease with your surroundings. I´m was welcomed in TFI since I also need a different scope from other schools. I am proud to teach my knowledge to other colleagues and talk about the symbioses of nature and “US” as part of the living concept.Thank you it was a wonderful journey - and I appreciated the ongoing support of the management.JAZZ

Worst school ever I have experienced.They requested sixty thousand Rs. for school transfer document when we tried to move the other school. They are only seek for money.

I was a parent too.Paid about Rs 20 Lakh as a foreignerNo refund for F&B during the pandemic.Rs 60.000 for the school Certificates.

We have paid full amount of fee, they are shutting the school now fully .. My son just went for 3 months.. When we asked for refund their Founder called Pricipal Thomas refused to pay .. We still requested for 50 percent refund only.. While doing admissions they takes so mnay things and so many facilities.. Saying too many lies

As a parent and victim, today I am bringing this important notice by my first review ever against GIA administration.We have faced quite many issues from recent months with GIA Principal Thomas Alexander Pallushek (called himself a public figure :) ) who is rude, highly unprofessional and .......... He wrote harsh emails and harassed us and threatened us in different ways, so that we leave the school without asking for our refunds.Only in this school, you can see one kid per class and a total of less than 10-20 kids in the entire school- this a top-secret. Only in this school, we have seen teachers (Radhika Ramanujan) teaching a 7year old kid about US politics and using bad words (Who the hell will threaten a 2nd grade kid with suspension when bring this notice to the school?). Only in this school, 4 principles changed in 3 years and so many times without a principle. Only in this school, every 2-3 months teachers will change. Only in this school, we have seen suddenly a coffee maker (Sathya Nagarajan) can becoming a Head of Education. Only in this school, we get signatures for very important documents from others in the place of the principal (Thomas Pallushek) signature. He forced us to give a positive interview about the school but we refused to do so considering other parents in our views because we dont want any other parent getting fooled like us. He even shut down the parent comments on facebook to avoid negative reviews. He even started to block parents whoever raised their issues about his school from schools email IDs and phone numbers. They collected full fees per annum (one time payment almost Rs.4,00,000) including food and beverage fees for online classes from parents during this pandemic situation 2020-2021.He announced that theyre shutting the school on May 14th, and we have no idea which school will be allowing admissions at this time. When a question was asked about his sudden decision about shutting down the school, he impolitely and very arrogantly said, ask your court/government. They also openly asked parents to proceed legally and do what they can do (Maybe as they are closing down the school and running to other places in India with different cheating method).On May 15th we went to school to collect the TC for our child and Sathya Nagarajan behaved very rudely with us and the so-called principal Thomas Pallushek was hiding behind the bushes in his schools opposite building and running away from us. Also threatened that they will not give TC and forcefully took the signature.This school says they will re-open the campus after a few years for only upper grades but we kindly request parents to rethink about this school and these people before joining your children into this most vulnerable school. Also, we hard that these guys Thomas Alexander Pallushek and Sathya Nagarajan are going to start up a new business in coimbatore/Pondicherry, Chennai. Guys please be aware! We are also bringing this notice to several authorities (FRRO/court/government) for not to supporting these kind of business.We may not gain nothing with this post but satisfaction is really high if we could help at least one child future fake public figure.Hope you can understand our/fellow parents feelings from this post!Stay Safe and Take care of yourselves!

My daughter was in third grade at German International School. She was enthusiastic and was eager to go back to school every Monday morning. The principal is outstanding and you cannot ask for a better learning environment. We love this school. My daughter has grown so much in maturity and their learning skills have advanced so fast.We have had consistently passionate, articulate, engaged teachers who approach the evolving curriculum with thoughtfulness and creativity. Its not about rote learning or test prep -- they teach the kids how to be thinkers and keen observers. Looping enables the teachers to really get to know each child and the dynamic of the class.Overall the most amazing school with the most wonderful approach to development. Each child is seen as an individual and encouraged to thrive as they explore. The support and keeping parents informed have been exceptional! Ive had no complaints and was very happy!

German International School Chennai is the best. The teachers are amazing and the staff is super friendly and positive. The environment is conducive to learning. The school is so peaceful and tranquil - an ideal place for any student. GIS is an ethnically and socioeconomically diverse community, which is hard to find in Chennai. The whole atmosphere is protective and nurturing. They have companion animals at school and they teach humane education! The staff are truly caring, wonderful individuals and weve made good friends here, as has our child. My daughter loves going to school, and never complains. Sometimes she does not want to get picked up. During school breaks, she cant wait to go back.Initially, my daughter had a bit of trouble adjusting, but I think many kindergarten students would. The teachers were patient and gave me great suggestions which worked like a charm. I find this school to be very loving and responsive when I asked for help. The school goes above and beyond in so many ways, teaching the children what the need to be successful academically and socially!

Im so disappointed in this school. Irresponsible teachers, principal latha is very unprofessional she behaved badly with my friends. Female teachers are always smoking and smelling very bad. teachers and staff should be clean and look good to teach children manners. What a refreshing educational option for children in Chennai- India!GIS has never let us down and our family is confident that the kids are receiving the best education available in Chennai. Ive never known more dedicated teachers, from elementary, middle school and high school. We just cant get this level of education anywhere else!. The leadership, staff and teachers go out of their way to provide a great education. The Principal is driving this school in a direction that enhances the student’s future. We are thrilled with the education our child is receiving and highly recommend this school to students.

We are extremely pleased about the German International School, its one of a kind for many reasons, 1) they focus on holistic all round education and not the run of the mill memorize system many schools have, 2) Teachers are really caring, multi lingual and diverse and that shows when the little one comes back with stories and songs in many languages to share , 3) beautiful school with a lot of greens and a swimming pool, concrete jungles kill creativity, 4) they encourage pets and kids love to grow up one with loving creatures, 5) They are pure vegan and this makes kids healthy and socially conscious. Our children so enjoying going to GIS. Teachers are kind and there is a healthy mix of learning and play. Our daughter goes to kindergarten. The teacher student ratio is so good that it must really feel like home to her. Our son enjoys learning and being taught things but also allowing lots of play means that he holds information well and is becoming an independent thinker. His vocabulary has really shot up in the few months that he has been here. He thinks creatively about problems and we can see him trying solve problems in novel ways. He loves his teachers and cannot wait for Monday! Fabulous!

Best place you can imagine for your child to unleash its creativity. We from SIE Singapore are again conducting workshops for the teachers at GIA. The management has changed for better 2 month back - so I can say they have some high potentials in the management as well as in the team. The team is as usual very strong in their skill sets and their classes. Since I also need to rate this school I can say that these people are shining out with their competencys in life as well as online classes. We were searching a school where will offer good learning along with good play environment for our 2 year old son. Luckily, he has got kindergarten admission at German International School. We could see lot of improvement on him within two months. He usually cry when we wakeup him morning but nowadays he doesn’t and is happily going to school. Now, he has started talking and improved on his listening. My name is Timm, Im from Germany and have been at the German International School in Chennai for a year now. We went to this school because Im going to graduate from high school in Germany and get here German lessons and I miss it by no substance. In addition, the GISC works with the Thuringian school system, which makes me skip something or miss something. Because of the small classes (8 students per teacher) and the strongly focused instruction on each individual student, I have learned as much as in any other year in Germany, for example in French, a subject where I have not been so good so far. Since English is spoken here in all other subjects and in the spare time, I can now communicate very well in English. What I really enjoyed was the activities you could do because of the proximity to the sea, such as swimming, surfing and waveboarding. The school year was a lot of fun for me and brought me above all in my school performance up.
