My Daughter studied in DAV Adambakkam from Pre KG till XII,. While I approached them for attestation in her XII mark sheet,. They did not even responded us, we were waiting in the office room since 9am to 2.30 pm.Very worst experience I had .The importance they have given to a parent who s daughter studies with them for 15 years is this

I personally known well about this school. Other than academic their is no proper skills developed in this school. Students will be in stress most of time with lot of academic pressure. Too much pressure on students. There is no proper sports activities for students. School office staffs behaviour is worst to the core. They are treating parents in a worst way. I will not recommended anyone to join here. Giving 2 start only for few good teachers working in this school.

I am very happy with the school, they take care of kids very well. They have taken online classes very well this year. Teachers are not pressuring the kids only parents compare with other kids.

Seriously I dont think this is an ideal school. Academics wise this school is the best. But that doesnt matter anymore. The most important aspect of our life is the way we approach things and the way we think and solve. Here we are supposed to read and write only what is taught and not what we know is right according to us. There are not much scholastic or extra curricular activities.

The school is good but since few teachers are partial they expect only their favorite students to win in competition and not others. I have won no prize. I paid money one time for Vishnu Sahasranamam coaching and they didnt accept my name and didnt return my money as well. They are money minded... And one teacher also excluded me of my physical appearance saying i am not fit to write essays and till now I dont know what relation i have with my physical appearance and my English talent and that teacher gave that chance to some other boy, who is like me and he is a topper. I totally hate partialityBut not all teachers are like that. I had good experiences as well. i can give 3 stars

As we are locked in native due to corona, but school is forcing to receive the note books and asking for payment in person. We cannot go to Chennai due to lock down. We have paid school fees online. But still they are asking ti come in person and pay the fees. Why they are not understand the situation. Very bad organization during this covid situation. GOVT is not looking into this.No humanity.

Money money money.they will ask you to pay fees as dd and another 80k in their donation trust account. All they need is money . I studied 12 years in this school and I lost everything . They teach book pressurise you and push you into some useless engineering colleges. Long school hours. Not a good place for some one who wants to be extrovert.

I am an alumni of this school. I have only one thing to say- if you love your kid and want them to be a wholesome adult with empathy and emotional intelligence, please dont send them here. We were fleeced in the name of fees. We were forced to take back to back exams even when the syllabus wasnt properly covered. We were shut in the sweltering heat of May in over congested classrooms. There is no consideration for the students. The teachers pass on ideals of a bygone era. The school forwards the Hindutva agenda. HORRIBLE PLACE!!!!!

Education wise is good. Lot of sections. They can reduce the sections. If sections is less the teacher can motivate and encourage the students individually. Management can put effort in extra curriculars specifically in sports and they can take the students for excursions, picnic etc for twice a year. Students will get boost and they will enjoy to study. Each student should participate in annual day then only they will get stage fear. And for each festival, before holidays celebrate with students and ask them to wear traditional dresses for a change. Kindly initiate these ideas. If these ideas are good let proceed for childrens sake.

They ask particularly if you are higher caste and will prefer if you are brahmin and play such politics also after the admissions.Just A PATHETIC PLACE!

I dunno how they are expecting a UKG class student to learn everything fast. Fast fast fast.... Are they kids or a machine ? Teachers are stressed , they dunno how to treat a kid whose activity and performance is low. They are expecting a UKG kid to behave like a 10 th STD student. We parents are seeing teachers as a second parents for our kids, please earn trust and love from kids. This is not an age for them to get fear about their future. You cannot expect all students to give A+ result. Reduce your portions, give some time for them in other activities. Treat a kid as a kid not like machine.

The school has become worst nowadays. Teachers are more stressed and they treat children very badly. Also, they dont even get time to properly correct class works. They never teach basics but expect kids to do advanced homework. I have asked for tc. Even for that single tc paper, they mint money from us. Not sure why such money minded people spoil the name of Hinduism.

Im in USA again from Mid March 2020, homeschooling my LO for a couple of years till Im bk to India. Because of learning in DAV, Adambakkam for a year, my life has become easy to homeschool my LO as she has been shaped well in languages and subjects by her DAV teachers. During her exams in DAV, I just had to ask questions n my daughter would answer quickly.... no work for me to teach her at home. Just revisions. Ill definitely choose DAV once Im back. No second thought and no second choice.No donation is asked . Fees is affordable by a middle class Indian family n is extremely reasonable as compared to some Chennai schools that has 1lakh to 4 lakhs fees.

I have admitted my daughter just because the school is about 4 km from our house. Parents desirous of getting their ward excel in their studies consider other institutions. DAV os an english medium school but the standard of coaching and the communication is way below pernissible level. None of the school teachers are adept at the language let Lone being proficient. Soft skills are beyond their comprehension. I hope after reading my review they consider doing something about their institution.

My son went dav school from sevalaya for thirukurral competition he won the competition he said the school was very beautiful the teachers are easy going persons so finally the school is one of the best school in the country but, the sevalaya best than dav.

Upto 9th its cool. No pressure. but at 10th they is overpressure by keeping more tests just to produce good results .sometimes in classes they discriminate students based on marks. There are some very good Teachers and sometimes very poor teachers

Uptp class 9 this school os very nice,no pressure....but when u enter 10 the STD ur doomed...they only give importance to top students ,more exams just think of it writing only exams between December starting and b4 board exam starts...at this period no pt periods nothing...students have to study...study....thats it.....they will segregate students on the basis of ur mark as set a,b,c.the set A students r those who score above 90% in exams and setb r the average students and c failure students.....the set c students r called to the school to attend Xtra classes upto 6:30 other students r dispersed by 4 pm....these classes r conducted between December to ending of board xam.....the set c students feel interior to other students as they segregated in the lower level.....after the 1 week of Jan they will conduct revision tests were they only keep half day school dispersing setA,B students alone at12:30 and set c students r made to sit till 6:30 pm and in between there will be leave for only revision tests were on those leave setC students r forced to stay in the school from 8:30 to 6:30 pm just imagine the condition of the students were they dont teach these students properly and waste their time.....if the students plan to study in home they will not leave they will say that they would tc to students who deny cum to Xtra classes....this is the condition of this school.....u can ask any1 about this....so plan accordingly

HI,I got the seat for my daughter for 2014 prekg. The selection process is very big. But they do not have any other option to filter the students. Because some shools are filltering the students about they cast and monthly income of the fathers. But interview the kids is good compare the other things. I was standing from morning 4 am and i got the application no 224. anyway my daughter done very well in interview.. as per other parents advice this school is best in that area.

Too much selection process...We were standing in the queue from 12 am (Mid Night) to morning 10 am for my Son LKG admission. .. Interview has been scheduled on 18th Feb and result published on 2nd March...Interview was contacted like IAS interview... 2 to 3 teachers were asking question to 3 years kids. and 2nd level interview with correspondent (not Sure) Schools has been issued 1500 application and they selected nearly 150 kids only...If seats are limited they would have limited the application or this can be posted online. We lost our patient till the Admission result...Education system may be good but Selection process for PreKG and LKG is acceptable. How DAV management identified Kids talents with very short time interview by asking 2 or 3 question? All kids cant talk to people at first site!!! They need some space to sink with school atmosphere.I have no idea this school has extra curricular activity available.
