We were not super happy with this play-school. We just wanted to share our experience. My son was enrolled in Little More school a few years back for Pre-KG classes, on the recommendation of a friend.However, at the end of the academic year, we were not satisfied with the way things had progressed. Coming from a Tamil joint-family, my son was understandably not very comfortable with English being all of 3 years old. Due to his inability to converse in English, I believe he mainly used to communicate with the Aaya ma at the school (and not the class Teacher who for some reason spoke only Hindi / English). Unfortunately for us, there were very few (native) Tamil speaking children in his class (again by default / design?). Naturally, my son just went to school, played by himself, interacted with the Aaya maa, came home. This was in complete contrast with my older son, who was put through a different playschool, and was much more interactive.Naturally, my wife was very worried that something is lacking in our younger son - not socializing with other children, not picking up English as fast as our older one etc. etc. Post play school, we put him in a different school, where his classmates are from diverse background - Tamil & non-Tamil. Plus the teachers were equipped to communicate to children in a language familiar with them & gradually bring them to be part of the group. Its been 3 years since we moved him out of Little More, we are very happy with his progress (not just academically, but more importantly as a child - being playful, interactive, inquisitive, expressing himself etc.)We would have been very happy if at the time of admission at Little More, the management would have enquired specifically about whether my son is comfortable in English / Hindi. We would then have simply taken him elsewhere, and saved a lot of trouble for ourselves.3-stars because, otherwise they seemed to be an okay school.

Myself and my family stands indebted and feel highly privileged to acknowledge our gratitude towards Mrs Diya Mehra and her entire A Little More Playschool team for all good efforts and all round holistic nurturing towards my daughter Pourbee. She is in the Nursery wing in 2019-2020 academic session.We found A Little More Playschool in mid of this session after we came to Chennai from a completely different environment back in West Bengal. Within six months since then (with big barriers of language, habits, climate, cult and culture), we could feel the difference in our child.Pourbees guide (Trupti maam and everyone else) deserve hats off applause for her constant support, patience, endurance and confidence in every stages of metamorphosis of my child.
