Though a frequent visitor to Toscano Bangalore and visited Toscano Chennai for the first time.Service was very good.Food preparation was excellent.The restaurant is always one of my favourite.Suggestion look restaurant owners.....The restaurant should reconsider the wastages they are creating by means of packing the plates and cutlery. While it gives a sense of being sanitized, it can be kept in warmers and and place neatly after guests are seated. The food is served in plates that are handled by the serving team. The same can be done for everything. If you ask for a serving spoon or extra cutlery they are giving you the regular. So why create wastage if paper by wrapping plates and glasses and cutlery in paper pouches.This is the case in Bangalore and Chennai.

Hands down, one of the best restaurants in Chennai. Surprised how this place isnt that popular when compared to other eateries similar to it. Anyways, we found this place in Zomato and decided to give it a try in spite of the high prices. But boy, wasnt it worth the price!? So, we started off with the complimentary breads which in itself was delicious. We ordered the soup of the day, which was a Cream of Carrot soup which was absolutely delicious and creamy. It had a unique taste and was easily the best when compared to all other carrot soups Ive had. The garlic bread with pesto and sun dried tomatoes was such a delicious starter. It was almost on par with any good pizza that u would get in Chennai. The chicken nuggets and sauteed mushrooms and artichokes were also good and came in sufficient quantities. However the standout starter should be the fried mozzarella and arancini balls served with onion rings and the chicken bruschetta. Easily the best bruschetta anywhere in Chennai and the mozzarella cheese was so soft , tender and fresh. Completely impressed with everything we had till now, we moved on to the main course. Although many places in Chennai have ravioli in their menu, most of those say theyre out of ravioli when we order. So its been a long time craving and luckily, this place had it. And wow, it was so delicious that we even thought of having two more raviolis instead of desserts. It was that good and the sauce was absolutely gorgeous. We got both the chicken and spinach with ricotta ravioli and both of those were in tough competition with each other. The formaggi pizza was handmade and had a thin crust which was top notch too. The surf and turf with prawns and beef was a bit disappointing because the prawns were slightly overcooked but the beef medallions more than made up for it. The cook on the beef was perfect and went well with the condiments and the sauce. The desserts were more impressive and stumped us. We finished the first set of desserts in record time of less than 2 minutes. It was so gorgeous that we literally fought with each other to complete it. The signature mousse and panacotta was delicious and the chocolate fudge and tiramisu was outstanding. The hot chocolate was a big let down and thats the only thing which was of mediocre taste in our entire lunch. But still, Id definitely give it 5stars coz of the Ambience and the taste and quality of food. Simply amazing and one of the hidden gems of Chennai.

Loved the ambience. Beautiful menu, very crisp and unique. Ordered the chicken risotto, roasted stuffed chicken, basil orange drink and the brownie with dark chocolate ice cream.The risotto was so delicate and creamy. The roasted chicken with the vegetables and sauce tasted delicious. The roasted potatoes added the right the amount of balance to the meal. The drink was a good accompaniment and refresher. The highlight of the meal was the dessert. The decadance of the chocolate in the brownie along with the bitterness of the dark chocolate ice cream definitely deserves the chefs kiss. 😄The prices are expensive but worth the hype if youre treating yourself once a while. The service was good. Covid rules were adhered well. Overall, a brilliant meal and a wonderful place to eat at.

My first restaurant visit post pandemic (resorts not included) and it was simply awesome. Maybe we were just starved for service but I seriously felt incredibly comfortable, safe and happy. Independent cutlery kits. Distanced tables. Great service. And fantastic food. Has definitely given me the confidence to visit other places although its probably set the bar real high!

Must try for Italian food lovers and special occasions.We love Italian food and came across Toscano while in the area. It was noticeable due it’s European decor from the outside. We went for dinner around 7pm on Friday evening and it was nearly empty. Pandemic and Diwali must have affected the number of customers.They have taken care of safety and sanitisation really well. The usual temperature check and sanitisation is done at the entrance. The cutlery is packed in paper that customers have to open themselves. Staff wear all the protective gear.That aside, the ambience is good. We sat on the couches and it was comfortable. Atmospheric lighting with tasteful furnishings create a perfect environment for enjoyable meal. I love the classic English music being played that brought back my college memories, specifically “The Joker” by Steve Miller Band ;)We had read all good things about their pizzas so had to get one. We ordered for Bismarck pizza which has Smoked ham, Pepperoni, pesto chicken, mushrooms, onions & bullseye egg. The pork belly dish on the specials menu caught our eye and we couldn’t let it pass so ordered that one too and a Basil Orange drink to refresh ourselves. The pizza was fantastic, perfectly toasty crust and well balanced combination of sauce, cheese and toppings. The pork belly was juicy, succulent and delicious! The crispy bit of bacon with the melt-in-mouth pork belly was a great combo.The service was courteous, Gokul made sure that everything was to our liking. When we complimented the pork belly he called the chef to meet us at the table. Chef Saurabh was delighted to hear our compliments and mentioned that he got the pork from Belgium for the specials. There are only few people who go for specials and only stick to pizzas or pastas. They are going to have turkey for the entire week of thanksgiving. We would highly recommend giving the specials a try.Finally, we hadn’t ordered for dessert but Gokul got us a scrumptious walnut cake with a lovely Happy Diwali message :)The bill came with the sanitizer and surface disinfectant for safety. Everything together costed us Rs. 2,581 including GST and service charges which is reasonable for the ingredients, taste, ambience and service. We will make sure to visit again for that turkey during thanksgiving.

What I observed is if you order something with a coupon applied, the restaurant will cut corners to offset the discount , period .Puzzle for you, find the chicken pieces in the pizza .May be need to dine in there to find whether there is any difference.

Great spread for the price. Salad range was fresh and good. Starters is very minimal in variety. Main course range of options is good, but the fish i ordered was fry and tasted Ok. Dessert spread looked really good but out 5 only 2 very really worth the sugar intake.

Am excellent place to have authentic Italian food. The ambience is perfect and the food is even better. The price is on the higher side (approx Rs3000 for 4) but worth it. The service is quick. A prior reservation might be necessary as the place tends to get full during weekends. A must visit for Italian lovers; exquisite dining for family or friends or just a lavish treat for oneself.

This place has a great selection of food and desserts for this of you who have a taste for Italian cuisine. The quality is truly exceptional and the interiors and the overall vibe of the place have a rather authentic feel to it. My one issue with the place is that its on the expensive side and Im unsure if the overall experience is justified with the cost of enjoying a meal here. This place is especially suited for special occasions like anniversaries, birthdays etc and I would definitely recommend visiting this place atleast once.

Good lunch place on KNKR. If you are looking for good pizzas and a nice beverage to wash it down, this could be the spot. The Grape lemonade or was it a virgin Mojito(not sure of the name) was quite refreshing. Do try the Tiramisu, its plated well and equally delicious. The chocolate mousse was meh!! and so was the tart. The service staff were courteous but need to be a bit more attentive. But dont let that discourage you from trying this place.

The place is amazing. They have two course and a three course meal can choose any from starters , mains and desserts. Downside , the much raved about Pizzas are not part of the course meals.We ordered everything in veg , not good at names though. But the food is worth mentioning and it tastes amazing. The Risotto and the Aglio olio is to die for.The best part desserts are yummy . We ordered the Chocolate Kahlau Mousse, Mascarpone Tiramisu and Creme Brulee...Must visit even if u have to have just the desserts...

Amazing ambience and lovely food. Best italian food in Chennai. Absolutely loved the mushroom pizza. The crust was so delicate and perfect with generous amount of toppings. Chicken lasagna was soft, light and cheesy. The signature kahlua mousse was good when combined with vanilla angalise and almond tuile. The combination of the three was perfect. However I felt if a little bit of texture was present in the mousse it would have been better-like adding hazelnuts. Overall perfect food and good service but definitely pricey.

Definitely not the best Italian place i have ever been to.Pizzas were average, Desserts were mostly next to pathetic, bruschetta had everything stale on them. Creme of chicken soup had simply no flavour.It wasnt all disappointing, kahlua based desserts were ok but they didnt go overboard with truffle/truffle oil in the pasta which was perhaps only thing pleasant.

Loved the food here. The service was also very good. The garlic bread in the picture was amazing and is nothing like anything you would have ever tasted. We also ordered pepperoni pizza and white sauce pasta. Both were pretty good. Definitely worth a visit.

The place serves Italian food and is one of the best in CHENNAI. The taste and presentation of food is simply outstanding. The desserts are lip smacking too. The waiters are polite and knowledgeable. The price is on the higher side while the portion size is not. The place has valet parking. And it’s highly recommended that you make a prior reservation before you get to the place. All in all, I would definitely recommend this place if you enjoy your food.

Waited to try this place for a pretty long time. Its very nicely done up and the food is pretty good too. The reason Im not giving it four stars is cause I feel that its unecessarily expensive as we have so many places in Chennai now which offer really good quality food and arent as as expensive as this place. It set us back a cool ₹3000 for two people. Getting to what I ordered -Prosciutto e Funghi - it was a pretty good pizza, really nice crust and a good amount of toppings. Was the nicest thing I had there. 4/5Salsicce grigliate - this was pork sausages with polenta. I wasnt a fan, the sausages were okay but I personally didnt like the polenta. 3/5Kahlua chocolate mousse - a nice rich chocolate mousse. No nonsense. 5/5Charcoal smoked lemon cheesecake - very nicely plated but a bit too sweet for my liking. 4/5
