Went to the express avenue restaurant ordered the bun and found tiny pieces of aluminium foil dust in the bun😡 informed the staff and they didn’t charge. The management should follow strict guidelines for hygiene and product quality.

Amazing place to grab a seat sit and relax for a snack.. this is located inside Phoenix mall. Taste of food seems to be good. They are famous for their varieties of bun.. we tried pasta with crème Sauce tasted really good .. I really liked the ambience of the place which is way too good

I visited this restaurant when it was newly opened in Chennai in phoenix marketcity mall. Its located on the lower ground floor on the way to palladium mall. Its a great place with beautiful decor and interesting interiors. Theyve a good variety of food. The service is good and quite welcoming.

Landed up here for snack time with friends as we wanted to try their signature bun!We had ordered the white chocolate bun, simple cheese pizza, corn sandwich and ice lemon tea.Firstly the bun was served warm topped with white chocolate and it was very good with a soft crunch.The pizza was cheesy and tangy with small tomato toppings.The corn sandwich served with french fries was amazing. The fries were nice and crunchy but little oily.Overall decent place but slightly overpriced I felt.

Pappa Roti never ceases to amaze me. Ive been in love with these Roti buns since the very first bite. Ive been missing them ever since I came back from Qatar. I was very glad to find them in Phoenix Mall Chennai.I went for the plain Roti Bun as I wanted to taste it all authentic and enjoy in all the goodness of it. It was amazing as always.

We had to find a place for working on a strategy related to work, somewhere outside of work. At first star bucks was our option, but since it was lunch time we thought we will go to this place.Pros............We ordered red and white pasta and 2 sandwiches. Red pasta was customized to our ask with cheese. All the 4 dishes were decent. Then we wanted to try their signature dish and went for a plain bun based on their recommendation and will never regret the decision. The bun was out of the world, crispy from outside and soft from inside with a blend of salty butter, it literally melted in our mouths. We then ordered for more flavored buns, I settled with cheese bun, and like it. On beverages, i went for caramel machiato, both the hot and cold versions were good. The total damage was ~4k for 4 of us.Cons..............The ambience and service are a big let down. Would have gone for a 5 star rating otherwise. The ac was not functioning and it was warm inside. Since we were working from morning to evening, had to connect our laptops to internet. They were not ready to share the wifi password, missed starbucks a lot for this. We asked for normal water and they served us something like tap water which was not consumable. And finally, ~275 for a single bun is too much.

Its all in your perspective, you could blame it as an expensive bun with fancy toppings or see the reality which is, a neatly baked super fresh and soft bun with exotic toppings (Maple, Lotus Biscuits, Dates) of our choice with very good collection of teas to sit down and kill some quality time while reading a book or playing some old classic table games which are available next to the billing counter.Its the experience, they are selling.Experience and give me a thumbs if I was right.Note the service is prompt and courteous.

Love this place but unfortunately the manager was extremely rude to us at this Palladium outlet. Served us cold buns and refused to oblige with our request to replace with fresh food. Shocked at his behavior, we felt very uncomfortable. We love Papa Roti buns and have been having them for years, but this location just serves cold pre-made buns from morning which spoils the experience.

This bun was not only drizzled with cheese on top but also filled with cheese inside .Coffee Bun with Nutella & Hazelnut : My favourite of the 3 that I tried! The Nutella drizzle and crushed Hazelnuts were absolutely yummy 💕Hot Chocolate : Well, I expected a lot but it did not to justice to its name at all. It was watery and had very mild flavour of chocolate!Chicken Kheema Pizza : This is a treat for all the chicken lovers. I had ordered Veg Quesadilla, Bun with Nutella, Chicken wrap & Chilli bun omlette. Bun was good but the pathetic thing was Chilli bun omlette had a small piece of dish washing scrub (Green color). You could even mistake it for coriander. Hence it wasnt billed. I am totally worried about the cleanliness of the kitchen that these guys maintain. Either customers should stop consuming outside food or watch out for non-edible items in each bite.

This is a costly Malaysian cafe known for its Buns.Items to try: Bun - Nutella Hazelnut, Strawberry with whipped cream. Cardamom milk tea.....Salted Caramel Bun, Elderflower Ice Tea.

Thank God it came to Chennai. Such a wonderful made bread topped with all this chocolate and maple syrup and icecream and stuff. It was yummy. And all the Egg dishes are amazing too. 😋😋😋

When they take order they don’t take notes , even if query something from menu , they consider that as a order. Music is loud and room temperature is very hot no AC, there menu has lot of sugars which is not healthy and end up paying high prices for junk food

The buns here are so perfect and so soft to the lips. Its uniform throughout, the taste. It melts in your mouth and soothes you to the core.

Very disappointed with service. Nice decor doesnt ensure good service or good food.. And, sadly this was the case with us. Laying cutlery on the table and not providing plates is just appalling... We ordered a margherita pizza just to try out what their food was like.. Topping was fine but the crust was more like toast.. It wasnt a pizza in the least... Service was slow...You wont be missing out on anything if you choose not to visit this place...

Pappa roti is one of the best places to eat coffee buns in chennai. I have been there many times, just to eat their buns and as they say their signature is coffee bun. It stands for it. They have a very nice environment and it is peaceful. They have special brewed tea which are their other delicacy. Various dishes are also served which are also quiet a try.....

I think this place has amazingly tasty coffee rotti bun which harmonize well with black coffee. For me it is a resting place after long shopping as well as a gas station to pump energy up into myself before shopping.It is rather overpriced yet worth a try.Staff are kind.

Its the biggest yet in Chennai could be bit more spacy though . As you pass by signature bun aroma lures you into the cafe. So far I have tried the plain bun and Nutella and hazelnut bun which is my favorite. Cold coffee and ice tea are good too. Its totally worth it but it has to be hot else you miss the melted butter and its not just right.

Service is not good...Taste and all ok...but needs improvement in service side..Not even they provide water..need to ask everything one by one..starts with plate..sauce..fork..water..Better If u take away foods..dine in not recommended

I visited this place along with my husband and it is a big time disappointment. We ordered cappuccino coffee and one maxican pizza. Both were terrible and it’s a complete waste of money. Coffee was served without sugar and no sugar were given separately. Pizza was a stale bread with minimal sauce and very less topping. If was hard to chew it. Service was very slow and it was clear that servers were not interested or plain dejected. However ambience was good.

Huge disappointment. The service is slow and appalling. There were flies buzzing around most irritatingly , that too in whats supposed to be a premium eatery in a deluxe mall like the Palladium! Besides, it took them 20 minutes to serve us pasta!That said, it also needs to be said that the pasta was tasty but some of the pleasure it afforded was negated by the inordinate delay in service. Till they pull up their socks, Papparoti is going to let people down.

Lovely place. The menu mostly consists of varieties of Buns, teas, icecreams and shakes. Then some sandwiches. The Buns are the signature dishes here. They all kinda look big, but theyre actually just fluffy and craftily baked; touch em with your knife and theyd be as flat as a pancake. But trust me, these buns are the best you could find and taste extremely good. While you wait for your order to be prepared, you can even keep youself entertained with their board games like Jenga blocks and many such stuff.

Prices are too high . Being a very high brand they take customers as granted . They know premium customers dont look at the bill and they charge 30rs for 500ml water which has a mrp of 10 also they did charge me gst of 3 extra for the same
