Amethyst wild garden (New York central park pro lite). I visited this place after suggested by few food bloggers. This place is hidden gem located just opposite to Satyam cinemas back gate. The food quantity were less and felt bit overpriced.Ambience - No words ♥️ They have eye pleasing greenery with outdoor seating. You can visit this place for one time experience.

Beautiful place to spend time with family or friends. Food and drinks are good. Service is excellent. Best of all, there are lots of trees around so lots of shade if you are interested in out door dinning

I absolutely loved this place just for the ambience, ample parking space and wide seating options. We went during the night and sat in the outdoor seating. The service was quite quick. The pizzas were good.Pasta especially mushroom cheese penne was tasty.Loved coffee creme burlee. But Banana split was a disaster.I would recommend people to go during day time or right at sunset time. The nature setting is very well set and creates a pleasant atmosphere.

Dont go to this place for the food even though the food is not bad. After placing the order from a pretty usual menu, we started falling in love with this place for the kind of calmness it brought to our mind due to the ambience. We sat outdoors among the trees and soon were lost in amazing conversations, thanks to the tranquility this place brings. Think of this place as an affluent peoples Coffee Day to hang out and chat...

The pepperoni pizza was extremely good compared to dominos one Ive had before, it was a little bit too salty but I loved it. Its just that during the evening times musquitos bite you a lot during late evening in the garden area, I just wish if they could grow any pitcher plant or something to control them that would be really nice. And the lime juice was good too

One of the best relaxed time we have had after a long time @ the best place ! Had full course meal from soup to filter coffee , tasty ofcourse & good service . Spaghetti was simple & filling & chilli cheese was 😋 & after all its not just the food everytime but The experience!

Good ambience, decent food, okayish quantity. The food is a bit overpriced for the taste and quantity, but I feel its a balance between the good, picturesque ambience and the okayish food. Its a nice location to bring your loved one for a date, or a romantic evening. Its silent and serene. There are a couple of cats roaming around and I guess you can bring your pets too!Would recommend. 👍🏻

Apart from ambience nothing is good. Service is poor because we need to wait to get menu itself for an hour and ordering food another hour and for a bills it again takes time.If you want to spend half day with good ambience and yes it is good place to go.Food - taste is not worth for a money.

Amethyst is the perfect place for a fancy date, or a posh evening with clients and friends alike. Located on Whites Road, the cafe is huge, and is surrounded with trees, greenery and pretty lights. They have both indoor and outdoor seating, and I simply cant decide which one is prettier! I stopped by only for some dessert one day with some friends, and we all fell in love with their strawberry pie. I can still feel the taste tingling my taste buds as I write about it. I didnt enjoy the creme brulee, that was an exquisite orange flavour for the day, but the cheesecake and the triple chocolate gateau made up for it. Service was quick. A 6 on 5 for ambience, and a 4.5 for the desserts.

Blunt Pizza, Average but Unique Sandwich, Crispy French Fries. There is Dedicated Spot for smoking which is close to the dining .. duh..!. this is not the smell a Nature lover is looking for..

Been a fantastic hangout option in Chennai for the elite for years now. Managed to maintain the old world charm. Food is pretty standard okay stuff. Nothing overly fancy. Expensive but worth it considering its the ambience for which folks visit the place. The boutique inside is good . The flower store is perhaps the best in the city. There is a place for pop up stores and those are okay for a quick look about too.. I love the garden seating and the quaint evening look at amethyst

Lovely as ever. Its so green inside. A must on your list of places to see and experience in Chennai. The food was good and great service too. Tried the panner tikka (has an exotic name that I cant recall now) and ice tea while I was there, was yumm.

I do love going to Amethyst. The place is quaint and nice and they have a lot going on there. The cafe is beautiful to come at sit at and the quality of what they have is very good. I have given them a 4 star rating as the bread that I bought didnt really taste of anything, walnut and olive oil, and when youre paying Rs 160 for bread it does need to have some flavour better than normal bread. Other items were nice but the bread was a let down.

This perfect outdoor space does justice to outdoor space in Chennai rain or shine. The food used to excellent. Now it needs to maintain the lovely 5 star quality in food. The ambiance and service is still great.

Beautiful and serene place. Perfect to catch up with a friend and talk for hours. Surrounded by greenery, you forget youre in the heart of a city. Feels more like Goa than Chennai! The staff is polite and chill - they dont rush you to order, and once you do, are quick to serve. Food and drinks are all super yummy, though a little on the pricey side. A beverage will cost you around 250 bucks, and with a meal itll be around 1k per head. Totally worth it for the quality and ambience though!

The place looks and feels good .It does not feel hot in there even in the middle of the day . Though the price for cakes ,bakes and coffee are on the upper side ,its worth it . Chocolate cake was filled with nuts and dates in every bite . These are not the normal ones available . I visit this place often, this place is absolutely surrounded by lush green trees and shrubs which vibes positively and relaxes your soul. It is a classy and humble haveli type place. Ample parking, great food, great place, great vibe.. what else do you need? They also have a decor and a flower shop there. You can buy fresh flowers from roses to exotic orchids for your special moments. I’ve tried quite a lot of dishes in the menu but as a sweet tooth, I must mention that the pistachio cake is quite underrated and it really wins the dessert game. It just has dense ground pistachios and perfectly sweet-salty dough which melts in your mouth leaving you asking for more. I’d personally suggest you to visit during the dusk to catch a glimpse of the lamps and the happy vibes!

Tasteless food with exorbitant price tag destroyed the romance of the place. Do not order soba noodles with spicy garlic prawn. There was no spice no garlic, just under cooked prawn. Chicken steak was overcooked.

The rating is given for the ambience only. Ambience is good although the service is very slow. About food, the quality is good but quantity is quite less and thus it feels overpriced.

Came here for the new year and the service was terrible. I had to keep them calling more than a couple of times to take my order. The coffee was fine but the chicken pesto pizza cannot definitely be called a pizza. I do not pay you 550 to get me some mayo coated chicken on a crumbled up pastry base. This is not what a pizza looks or tastes like. Pleasee go back to learn the basics.

Ambience is terrific, food is good to very good, pricing is a little on the higher side. But the service, friendly but soooooo slow. Spoilt our experience. They are definitely understaffed.
