I wish I can find a negative rating for Wooden Street. I ordered a James Study Table (Honey Finish) online from Wooden Street (Order ID: 169172). The tracking of order via online is pathetic. There is no way to find out when we will receive the order. Customer service will coolly say that our lead time is 4 to 6 weeks. Following are responses I received - Manufacturing is in batches (which is okay), shipments can be made only when the truck is full and ready; it will take 5 to 7 days for truck reach delivery center - but not clear dates on when the shipment is starting; From delivery center they will whenever the shipment is ready. After 5 weeks, I received the study table - only to find that the color is different from what I have ordered. They have shipped dark oak wood colour. Now back to square one. They are reshipping the order again. But the online order tracking says the product is delivered. God knows when I will receive it. I should pray that this time at least, I get the right table and in good condition (the product is shipped from Jodhpur). I read the google reviews only recently. If I had read it before, i might have picked it up from one of the near by furniture stores.If things are moving online, at least the quality control should be properly done. It is pathetic to wait for a study table for 7 weeks. I should have picked up a table from near by store - who are more approachable and would have delivered in two days. With these online stores, if you are on wrong side - it brings more pain than joy.

Most genuine stores are found in India. We bought an entire set for our living room furniture and arrived at our home easily without a single issue. Surprised to see when they opened the package and installed it in our room. Good work!

This is my 2nd review for Wooden street. All because I took two items from them. I could have been smart and could have taken only one item but no I had to place two orders and which in turn resulted into two different reviews for two similar experiences from two different orders. Customer support is pathetic. Please guys if you sell something then try to support that as well. Ticket has been created 3 weeks back and there is no update on tracker inspite of following up on it. Ultimately I got hold of someone who finally said that they cannot fix it as it is out of warranty. Fair enough, but please let customers know once a ticket is in place that you cannot fix or you cannot cater the request. There is no harm in telling that and it will not take more than a few words that you can write as an update on the ticket tracker. Even for the last order it was the bad customer experience and the same for this one. No more future orders from Wooden street at least from my side.

We are die hard fans of wooden furniture so, when my colleague suggested wooden street, we went crazy with their collection. They have awesome varieties of wood material and finish options that are so difficult to choose one. We bought a sofa set and are very happy with the purchase quality and shopping experience here.

I had a very bad experience after purchasing a product via online from wooden street. The product was damaged and the delivery guy confirmed the same. He assured that the carpenter will rectify the damage on the same day but it has been five days from the day of delivery no one has called nor responded to our concern. i would say a BIG NO to future purchase from this brand and will not recommend to any one.

Pathetic Service. I have made a huge mistake by ordering the study table in wooden Street. I have received my product almost 2 months later and still not yet received installation. And Thier customer service is so horrible and they do not know nothing about your product status and they simply say that your product will be delivered within 5-6 weeks and for installation 2-3 days which would never happen. There is no cancellation and refund. Will update about the product quality after using it for sometime.

The have a put a very cheap plywood at the bottom. It is making lot of noise. No one picks up the phone and no one responds to the tickets raised by me. They sell substandard products leave you in the lurch. Beware of them.

However after yesterdays (June 19 2021) delivery, I must say, I am 100% HAPPY!Below are the Pros & Cons, I thought I might share from my experience.Pros1. Sales team gave all the co-operation & support needed before purchase.2. Post order, during the long wait days (due to the COVID pandemic) - obviously I made several follow-ups. Every ticket raised and phone call made was answered professionally and on time.3. The Product arrived in a really good condition. No questions or concerns about the quality and finish. Its chic & spectacular, worth every rupee and compensates for the long wait time!Cons1. Number one in the list is the delay in delivery. Their commitment to the customer is 5 to 7 weeks delivery, but they seem to not honor the same.2. They do not mention a clear cut ETA (neither in the website nor in the phone calls/emails).3. A very template like language in response to your question which doesnt help much.4. No Return and No Cancellation.Keeping these cons in mind, I would still purchase from them in future as the end product (unless any damage incurred during transportation) is unquestionable and commendable.

Unnecessary mental agony and trauma. The worst thing is not picking up the call after collecting the money. I really doubt if they understand what customer service is.The response from you below is a standard template for all the customers and it actually doesnt help as what you have put down is not true. Furnishing untrue things over a review comment is so misleading and not expected out of a leading company like wooden street.

They call you to take order. Once the product is ordered they dont even send a confirmation msg. Same products available on other websites for very cheaper price.

Hi, this to let people know not to trust wooden street and purchase anything. I’ve had a very bad experience. Bought 2 Ceres blue metal lamps for my bedroom in October. Both came damaged, gave a complain and asked them to replace , but till date nothing has been done and I haven’t got my replacement. Called them so many times, but each person gives a different story. I wanted a refund but they are not willing to refund. Mind you people , please don’t buy anything from wooden street, if there is a damage you will not get a refund and you will have to wait who knows maybe 6 months for a replacement. Very bad experience. Very poor service.

My family had the worst experience they made us order the stools and the table separately and they couldnt deliver the table now the stools are lying at home useless. Regret choosing Wooden street. I would not recommend wooden street to any of my friends or family members.

Purchased a sofa cum bed and really happy with the purchase. The product is heavy and sturdy. The looks match what they show. A delivery time of 35 days though.

For all happy customer out there after receiving order, i was one such too. But it has a terrible customer service - in my case , first assembly was made by p carrier who delivered and not a carpenter, they fixed whole storage topsy turvy and the headside doors were struck did some carpenting and resolved it.. now after 6 months when i open one door the other door in center falls on head.we had been chasing the customer service for past three weeks.. their constant statement is carpenter is busy today and tomorrow will attend to ticket. We went to chennai location in person and they informed there is miscommunication and the carpenter will call up and visit in a day.. After two days i had again called today and they are asking to wait a day as the order is on sequence, poor thing is the order raised three weeks back is still not ready to be picked and attended in priority, Requested to share direct call back number as the ticket is escalated these many times and call center call makes u to wait for 15 mins for that they have a protocol on not to share number but for service even u escalate a ticket there is no response. It is not about selling a product or having a flashy website. It is all about a customer service which the worst. Please think before u purchase anything with this shop

Order placed September 20. Committed 1st week of November delivery. No delivery status update on their App/Website for our order. The sales person even doesnt bother to reply out WhatsApp messages. Forget about picking the call. We have heard about online purchases being huge disappointment but experiencing one is painful. Every time we have to call their CC number and will get same reply that material is in Warehouse and delivery in next shipment. I dont know when I will get the delivery.

Fraud alert! DO NOT PURCHASE. I placed my order in October 2020, over 2 months back and I’m yet to receive even a delivery date leave alone the order. I’ve created tickets, messaged on whatsapp, done everything I can to get info. No response from customer service. No proper tracking info. Absolutely nothing. If you can save your money and go to amazon or pepperfry, please just go there. These guys are a big NO NO!!

There are couple of major flaws with Woodenstreet which they have to fix. Spoke to Mr.Vijay and he refused to understand customer pain point, despite of acknowledging that many customers have faced this issue. Surprised to see the stubborn response from him.1. They do not have any policy on cancellation or returns. Once order is placed there is no way you can cancel it, since it is order to make.2. They take 45 days minimum (6-8 weeks) to deliver the product, even if there is no customization, and the product is as in their website. This is a major setback on order to delivery timeline.3. Their price is very dynamic. Once you have ordered the product, and if the price reduces within a week, they are not open minded to refund the money for the order that has been placed and yet to be delivered to customer. If the order is delivered, then its obvious that you dont ask for price match.Request Woodenstreet management to look into these pain points and address them keeping customer in mind.

Great products. But i agree with most of the Negative comments here. Terrible service. We just moved here from a different country so needed all new furniture. I wanted to furnish my entire new house from here after i saw their display items but the sales guys didn’t show any kind of interest in selling. After waiting for so long I ordered the bed and dining table from other vendors. I am still waiting for someone responsible to call from this place so that i can order the rest of the items i need. Furnishing a whole apartment is not cheap, it would have been a big order for them, but they lost it because of their unprofessional attitude. Pity.
