I would definitely give a 5 star rating for this place .the only drawback of this place is the space in there .Other than that u definitely cant say any drawbacks or cons .We just saw some YouTube videos and attracted by their infrastructure and seeraga samba briyani ,we went there .I love seeraga samba rice briyani and I have only tried in Dindigul thalapakkati and finally after a long search found this place .We ordered a1.MUTTON BRIYANI (SEERAGA SAMBA)2.STEAMED RICE3.IRAMEEN KULAMBU4.BRAIN FRY5.CRAB SOUPI just wanted to order more but I thought I ll have these and then order .I started with the rice and I have never tried rice in any restaurants that I have visited before .I dont know how irameen kulambu tastes because I have no idea coz tat was my frst tym in my lyf tat I tasted it.Yeahhh, honestly speaking it was very tasty ,a spur taste and lot of pepper was there , which gave an authentic taste to it.CRAB SOUP : must try in that restaurant.the best soup I have ever tried in my life .the taste of the crab was incorporated into the soup and it was drooling.BRAIN FRY: I usually dont order it since they dont clean well in most of the places ,but my partner just wants to give it a try and so we ordered it and it was really good ,the way they have added pepper to it ,oil and the masala added to it was apt for the brain fry.must try ....STEAMED RICE: I just ordered rice since I want to try the irameen kulambu but the server who served us gave us a idea and he served all the sidishes that they provide If we order a meal.he even gave us extra rice and rasam and curd and finally he gave us Kesari as a sweet.we ordered a single STEAMED rice but he provided equally for both of us .we thought he will add it in bill but that was not the case. the bill amount was only for steamed rice and not for the extra rice and sweets .BRIYANI: Finally ,briyani .......🤤🤤🤤🤤🤤🤤🤤🤤seeraga samba rice briyani is the best and the bestest is the SEERAGA SAMBA RICE BRIYANI IN CURRY BOX ....MUST MUST MUST MUST MUST MUST MUST TRY ......Very very very tasty .....I loved it but I couldnt eat it completely since I was full eating the rice but still I didnt want to leave it ....so only after completing the entire plate we left .....it was very tasty and the sides they provided for it ....a gravy and Raitha .... equally gooood .......I just dont want to finish writing about this CURRY Box ......but tats it and I forgot to order their crab omlet and plsss do try if u visit their place ......we just forgot to order that but I will visit the next time and try it .....try Curry box and let me know ur feedback .....

I had tried only 2 items - mutton paya & mutton kola urundai - Out of this world amazing. They have a variety of dishes in chicken, mutton and fish. A must try restaurant in chennai. Authentic flavors, cordial staff.

Have been hearing about this place in Anna Nagar for its good food for quite some time now and was quite intrigued to try it when i am in that locality..But all of a sudden a plan worked out with couple of foodie friends and i was here to try their food..Located right behind the Anna Nagar Tower metro in the lane next to LKS...With Basic road side parking for cars and bikes...Welcomed by a bright red name board the outlet is quite small to seat a max of 30 ppl in total with little to no space between tables..Quite cramped if you may say so..But the interiors are done well to give a modern quirky look to the place..The seating is also comfortable for a quick dining place..Their Menu reads global cuisines with indian roots and yes they have a little of most major cuisines but i was eager to try only their south indian one and hence my orders constituted of the same with opinions given below..Nandu Milagu Soup : Spicy and a blessing to a sore throat the Rasam had a good and distinct flavor..The Rasam had a good aroma and the flavors of the Crab meat..Served with a little bit of meat in the form of a crab leg..Crab Lollipop : The usual style of serving on a crab leg..It had a perfect mince of crab meat fried with a crispy outer layer..The Taste was decent to say the least..Chintamani Chicken : For a person who has no idea about the authentic taste or the preparation this chintamani chicken was a new experience for me..Unlike the roasted chicken pieces in a masala this one had very very small pieces of chicken crispy fried and served with pepper on top along with onions and lemon..Taste however was really good..Nethili Fry : Nethili crispy fried in a spicy batter..The marinade and the cooking was perfect to say the least..Over all it tasted really good..Fish Omlette : Fish shavings cooked with eggs in an omlette fashion..This one had the strong flavor of the fish so if it is a put down for you dont order it..And also the Fish pieces were quite bland in taste..Overall decent to say the max..Prawn Milagu Varuval : The Best dish of the whole meal..The Juicy and fresh prawns were perfectly roasted in a peppery masala..Would recommend this for sure..Grill Chicken : Ordered one from their arabian menu and was not that happy with it..Though the taste was good the cooking was not that great and the meat seemed to be a bit dry..Mushroom Dosai : This one was quite huge with a generous filling of mushroom masala..The Dosa was really crispy and was served along with Chutneys...A gravy of choice can be asked for..Must try..Prawn Curry Dosai..The Fluffy Kal dosai kind of finish had a crispy cooked side..And was topped with gravy along with prawns..The taste was quite good with prawns..Loved this one to the max..Chapati Mutton Kuthu : Quite dry to begin with but was brought to another level with the gravy..The Chapathi was more than the meat here along with eggs..Decent to say the max..Chettinad Chicken Kulambu : Thick in consistency with a rich taste along with generous pieces of meat..The Chicken pieces were big in size and lacked a bit of cooking..Found them to be a bit hard..However taste was really good..Once in a while you come across a restaurant that stays true to its roots and delivers well..Curry Box in Anna Nagar is one such place..The Chettinad or South indian items were all really good in taste but just needed some minor corrections like the cooking time and the meat..Was however not satisfied with the grill chicken..With quantity for not more than one person the pricing is also in its range..Their greatest positive were their gravies..Be it simple fish gravy served as a side or the chicken kolambu everything was good..Even the not so great main course was taken to another level thanks to its gravies..Two Normal eaters can be billed in the range of 400-700rs..With good food, decent service and ambiance this place is definitely recommended in this locality especially for their south indian..

Very substandard quality of food was served. Mixed fried rice was so bad, meat used in it was so poor in quality .. felt too rubbery. No seafood in it. Chapathi had a sour taste, it means dough was made days before to cooking. Hence Curry Box in Anna nagar doesnt serve good quality food. No value for money. Very average taste. But, service delivery was too good.

This place is absolutely good. The biryani there is one the best Ive ever tasted and the grill chicken is also so good. The more best thing is that they serve everything in clay pots, from classes to bowl everything is made of clay. The ambience is good too. The price is more affordable. There is also place for parking outside. So if you want to go somewhere for dinner within budget then this is the place youve to go.

I had very bad experience for this restaurant .we ordered panneer fried rice chicken kotthuporatta and mixed noddles for dinner. the panneer fried rice had crab legs and the taste of the panneer was too soar and salty as though it was rotten and the chicken kotthuporatta was very average.pls have concern when yu serve food

I recently visited this location as referred by my friend. When mentioning about Parking outside, I had a constraint of parking my vehicle. While speaking about the quality and the cost of the hotel, I will never negotiate. Every food item which you order, you could experience the difference by yourself from others. Let me start with the N-Veg soup which I had, was extremely awesome. I visited here for my sister-in-laws birthday and enjoyed the food every much. Still I feel the pepper prawn gravy, parrota, mutton noodles, fish fried rice and chicken briyani which was awesome in taste. The only constrain was the hotel had only four seaters of 7 tables. We could find more individuals and couples visiting this hotel. For family get-together its bit challenging to get the tables arranged. On the whole it was good pack of dinner at a reasonable price. I didnt experience any kind of digestion issue after food consumption(means no unwanted chemicals used).

Unlimited meal with 3 non-veg gravy and a sweet is superb.Felt little cramped in space, ambience could have been better.Overall, as any other Indian you expect a bang for your buck and you get it here.A place visit when you are hungry.

This place serves one of the finest non vegetarian dishes in Chennai. Their specialities are definitely worth a try. Though predominantly non vegetarian, their veg lunch is also good. And something which I felt better than food is the service, definitely something most restaurants lacks.

For me its is a bad experience, I had mutton meals, though it is unlimited, they are providing only a small piece of mutton with bone. Mutton balls are also not available when I was visiting.Ambience is nice and the mud plates and glass are awesome.
