Hy all! We tried chicken biryani, chicken fried rice, prawn fried rice, tandoori and at last pepper chicken. Basically, everything just ok, but pepper chicken is totally unfair it seems like yesterday food. Otherwise, nice ambience and good services

I stay near this hotel and used to eat in this hotel during weekends and holidays. Today I took a table where a person is already eating and there are two full glass of water. I gave my order (meals and chicken fry) and requested waiter to give me a glass of water.He told nobody used this water. I politely replied we can’t know it for sure. So please give me a new glass of water. He took the glass and held it high and checked something. Probably he checked if there’s lip mark. He assured me no one used me and asked me to drink in the same glass. Wow, Hats off to their method of saving water💦 😏😏😏P.S- person sitting in my table and me didn’t drink water to save water 😏😏😏. Probably next two person sitting in that table will get same glass of water.

Citygate restsurent is a famous restsurant and the food is delicious.

Poor service, poor overall food quality. They have a great variety of dishes, so some are decent. But that doesnt justify the high prices, or average quality. Dont go unless you dont have a choice

We ordered take away from this place. The place was crowded, but less number of people to serve them. The food quality and preparation was good. But it took more time to served. Even for a take out, we had to wait more time for our order as there is no one available at the parcel counter.

I love the service, the waiters are really good, plus a very clean place.One of the very few restaurants Ive given a 5 🌟Udpate: I ve revisited this place today and had a bad experience buying a parcel or take away. The staff member on the billing counter seems to be highly unfriendly and unwelcoming. Wanted to just shoo me off, asked him about whether combo was available as a take away. Point blankly said no take away for combos. Moments later I placed my order and then see a flyer saying combo parcel for INR 10 extra. I then asked him why he had mislead me, he just looked up with disgust and told that I did not ask that with the parcel counter which is the adjacent table and shooed me off... Pathetic service , cutting down two stars

This very famous place once used to be a great place for tasty food and great service. Now, i think there is certainly a difference in both taste and service. Definitely needs a makeover in terms of the Ac and non AC hall as the place looks too old

THE HOTEL LOOKS DECENT AND HENCE VISITED ALONG WITH FRIENDS. HAD CHICKEN THANDOORI AND FRIED RICE. BOTH WE HAD DYSENTERY AND STOMACH PAIN FOR NEXT 2 DAYS :-(((SOMETHING WAS WRONG WITH THE FOOD. MAY BE COLORING AND OTHER HARMFUL SUBSTANCES ARE BEING ADDED IN FOOD. SO BEWARE OF THE FOODS HERE!

This hotel is one of best non vegetarian hotel in Thiruvanmiyur area. Taste and ambience is very good. Lots of items available to eat. Especially non veg meals is very good in taste. Biryani also very good to eat. Overall its a good option to select for non veg lovers

Avg restaurant .Cards sometimes will not work. So better ask whether card is accepted in the beginning itself else you will end up in a pblm.

Decent place next to Thiruvanmiyur signal/junction for non-vegetarian items. The service in the first floor (air-conditioned) is better than ground floor as its too noisy/crowded.The items are moderately priced and value for money.Not enough space for car parking and its very difficult to park during peak hours.

Not so good experience, The biryani was pathetic. when I ask the waiter to get me coffee he served me lassi even after I said that I order coffee the waiter didnt even bother to change it and I had to consume it.

Ordered dinner today.... Packing was terrible... We ordered 6 items and it was given in a single cover..... As soon as we lifted the cover whole food fell down.....Restaurant ppl were so careless and said they are not responsible as we didnt hold the cover frm below......Useless idiots
