Excellent place ro conduct meetings and get togethers

This is a place for short term stay or long duration stays for Research Scholars. Offers typical Govt type lodging facility with cheapest rate per day fare.. Less than 100-150 per day.. Not sure with the fare though. Do not expect a neat n hygiene room at this cost. Safe & secure for womens. CCTV installed. 4 stars only because of the lowest fare.This place is next to C7 Chetpet Police station or next to Palimar Hotel/ SBI Bank & ATM. 5min travel by walk to Connemara Library. 10-15min by drive to Egmore station. 25min drive to Anna Ngr.

I can assure you that its cost efficient, and it have hotel nearby, everything is perfect as home

Its not a world class hotel for stay but I stay here for 15 days from Bangladesh in 2017 with 100 of students for internship. So memory we had there!

This is a very affordable and wallet friendly place to stay for students with all facilities given well up the sleeve, 10/10 would stay here on my visits to Chennai.

In my yday posting I wrongly stated that, male receptionist with clean shaved might have given rs 500 less, no he settled correctly, sorry for wrong posting. In hurry to catch my train my calculation was wrong. As per A/C accommdtn is concerned not, no lift so people with knee pain r suffering, 1970s bldg, so flooring & other things to be renovated. Since its a service centre 24 hours check out required not like commercial/money oriented 9am check. Advance paid for extra days also not refundable. This is also very bad. So I request VC and other management people, make it guest friendly. After renovation with 3 lifts charges can be increased

Popularly known as WUS centre, It is located in main area of Chennai. There is a lodging in the facility which allows any student/parent/teacher anywhere in India to stay at modest price. You should submit Institution ID card with address not in Chennai. Both A/C and non A/c rooms available either as private or shared dorm basis. Elevator available. The campus has a speed post office, State bank of India, SBI ATM, a coffee shop, Polimer restaurant and Cafe, Juice shop. It is next to a playground, so lot of fresh air available.

Best place to stay for students going to Chennai for seminar and other programs .Nearby restaurant...cheap price availableNearby railway station is available .Place is normal .....we should take care of belongings.....safety is in our hands .....many people move around....

One of the best stay away from home. Students and Faculty members having thier Institutional icard must come to stay hear in a very peacfull and clean environment. Good Rooms with fully air ventilation, good and clean Bathrooms and toilets. Bed and bed sheet/covers are well cleaned. Rooms with attached bathroom costs more than the room having adjacent bathrooms. Behaviour and cooperation of the staffs is highly appreciated. Safe drinking water is also available here, lift facility is also available. Attached to the hostel there is a restaurant and juice stall is available with reseanable price of food items. ATM also available inside the campus. Backside of this hostel is University stadium .Check in time 9:00-9:00 please carry your ICard.

Seven though the service is not good, the location is very near to egmore railway station. not affected during the Nov 2015 flood in chennai. double sharing. room with hot water facility. take 27 b city bus to reach here. it is even walk able distance from egmore station. the auto rate is minimum 25 rupees. very convenient if you have any program in university of madras. just take 27b , the last stop is university. decent food facility is available nearby
