Five days of a week I am spending at hotels pan India and I am emphasising that one of the best breakfast I ever had is from THE RAINTREE Annasalai Tenyampet Chennai. The array of delicacies starts from South Indian to Continental they covered almost all sorts of dishes and bakes. Pork Beef Mutton Chicken Fish Egg and Veggies, a complete breakfast. Grilled Bacon Sausages Curries what else everything covered with Juices Shakes Smoothies Pastries Deserts simply exceptional and WOW. The hotel is very clean well maintained with generous staff and the restaurants are of a class apart with the best practices of cleanliness and safety. The room allotment of Reception staff is at par with our requirements and requests and the ambience is one of the best of its class or more and the experience is truly ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️. The toiletries linens etc are upto the mark. I strongly recommend this property for the best value for money experience. A must try place in the heart of Chennai….

Had a really bad experience with the banquet hall and the stay. The rooms are pretty old and worn out and they charge you 4K for a standard room with no toiletries provided. Very rude staffs. In other words there are so many other hotels with same pricing with much more amenities and pleasant stay.

Me and my girlfriend wanted to stay here and wanted to book a room. The receptionist girl tod me at first Are you alone?We do not allow visitors at night. I asked , ok, can you give room for two?.The girl told, No, sir , we do not give rooms to unmarried couples. We were shocked. None of us could imagine that a big 5 start hotel would say something like this to our face and refuse us the rooms. We left immediately, and would never go back there.

We dined at the Up North Restaurant. My aged parents were with us, their first outing after nearly a year of being locked down. The staff at the restaurant were extremely helpful and attentive. In particular I would like to thank Mr. Mohan who went above and beyond the call of duty to ensure that everything went smoothly and was to our satisfaction. The food was delicious.

We have done our daughter wedding at rain tree. Best sèrvice was given by Mr. Manjunath and his team .. Awesome service and Hospitality. Special Thanks to Mr.Majunath

Best for hangout, except for the fact they dont encourage smoking within the rooms as they gave no smoking rooms in the entire property. Moreover when we have visitors the guest have to walk them down as the lift needed the keycard to access the lift which is certainly a security measure but for family /friend guests its a tiresome task... Think about an alternate by having a video intercom for the guest to give remote access to the reception or the concierge to access the visitors to the room...

Really Wonderful Hostel, placed at the artery of the city Anna Salai. The buffet I had was pretty decent. The Ambience, and supporting staff are cool.

Clean, fancy but ridiculously over priced.The jhal mudi I asked for at the rooftop restaurant was forgettable (and I struggled for a long time to forget) and so very disappointing.They offered a superb spicy panner sticks starter.The rotis and black dal were excellent. And quick. And I mean, impressively quick.The pricing is just not justified. And somebody needs to think. When two people go for dinner, and your starters are 5 pieces, how are they expected to share? For the price they charge, they can make it 6 pieces, or just offer 4. Theyve anyway established that they are a rip off on the price front. Why also put the guests in an awkward situation of splitting 5 among 2 or 3 people?Music is distastefully loud and disconnected with the audience profile, age and time of the day.Overall, good dinner but only an OK outing.

Just one word, FANTABULOUS . This place literally freaking ticks all the boxes . We had our parents anniversary celebration here at the LILAC Banquet Hall. We opted for a vegetarian buffet . And the menu that they provide you to choose from has every option starting from a local street food to continental delicasies. The staff were very kind and helpful, proper hygiene was maintained . The food here, just wowwedd all of us ,all of it which comes under a very reasonable price. You will definitely not be disappointed here, do try it, Cheers!

The property is in a good location. Accommodation is modern and clean. Nice ambience. The front office staff, food and beverage outlet staff and the cleaning staff all very accommodating as well as helpfulCheck in was painless and our luggage arrived at our room promptly.Our room was very spacious, well appointed with attractive furnishing and quality linens. Of course it was immaculately clean.We ate at the roof top restaurant we the food was great.The buffet breakfast was very good, although the coffee was lacking but that is the case in most places.

I love this hotel. It was the perfect place to stay for a week on business. Comfortable, clean, friendly staff, rooftop bar and pool, great breakfast, good pizza, an amazing spa and an excellent fitness centre with a view of the city and ocean... it had everything we didnt know we needed. Even now, I think of this place often. Hope to be able to stay there again sometime.

RainTree at Anna Salai is centrally located near the heart of Chennai shopping areas. The hotel rooms were very nice, clean and well maintained. Breakfast buffet had multiple choices for veg and non-veg eaters. Coffee in particular was very nice. Hotel has a gym and supervised by a trainer. Restaurant was good too. Overall a good place to stay. Tariff is a bit on the higher side but I guess that is the premium you pay for quality.

Very good place to relax and unwind. Went to the roof top as I had not been there. Very nice place if you are into taking selfies 🤳 😊. Service is excellent, very polite and understanding. Only gross is that the menu has only Sugnature Dishes which means you will not find your regular starters/main course or deserts. What they have is very specific and most often you will have to choose what is there as a choice rather than what you want. Overall a very good experience. Just hope they look at the menu or atleast have an option of making something simple if asked(eggs etc...)

Great Hotel. Excellent hospitality from staff at the door to reception staff, house keeping staff, restaurant staff and of course the managers!. Very impressed with the service we received from staff. The breakfast spread was good. Rooms were clean and comfortable. We stayed for more than 10 days two weeks ago and we enjoyed our stay. Structure of the hotel is that there is limited space at the reception area to hangout.. But nevertheless I would suggest this hotel and we would stay next year as well. Special mention to staff Kishore, Nitin, Harish, Anita, Thangam, Diphing, Karthik, Vignesh, Logesh and Jana. Keep up the good work!!

The Kitchen in Raintree is awesome. Spread was good covering veg and non veg. All the dishes I tried were tasty. Wonderful ambience too! In Anna salai if you are looking for a buffet recommend this even though cost is a bit high.

Nice experience...start your day with nice workout in gym on top floor. After dat have nice Buffet breakfast and den relax on top floor at heath club. So many relaxation activities like table tennis, swimming etc. For everyone and all age groups.One special thing to mention is the North India food and its taste. Head chef is a North Indian ( Punjabi person). Very nice North India taste. Kadhai chicken, Butter chicken, butter panner n kadhai paneer is a must with garlic naans.Housekeeping services are also very good and you have a mini bar in your room only. Almost everyroom has a nice balcony with outside views and there are few open teraaces also for chilling out in night.Dont miss the roof top party at night.(take care, causals not allowed at roof top).

Loved it! This was our first night out after six long years. Clean and spacious rooms. Awesome pool. Grand buffet. The only one I didnt like was the rooftop poolside bar, but maybe because I was tired after traveling all day. Maybe well try next time and update.

This is a centrally located property where you can stay during your visit to the city. This is good for both purposes of leisure as well as business. The staff are courteous and helpful. The rooms are good and well appointed. Amenities are well conceived considering the requirements of the guests. The restaurants provide delectable food. Overall a nice play to stay in Chennai.

Wonderful place. Yummy food. This is my fifth visit. The spread is good. One of the few places that has a variety for vegetarians.The salad section is so good that I prefer that over the starters. The pumpkin mousse is a must try.Dont miss their roast veggies in the main.Everytime I come here, my meal is fulfilling.. its a treat for dessert lovers too.Fairly priced, however, I did get the nearbuy coupons this time.

The stay and service was excellant.But the most amazing thing I noticed and experienced was honesty and integrity oriented staff.We missed placed our child diamond earrings and checked out the suite and realised our mistake over 24hrs later. In a panic we rang the hotel to notify them of our situationnit only did they act swiftly but had secured the earrings and safely returned it as well.I just cannot stop appreciating their staff for the help. This management and the staff deserve a great applause.Thanks again

The speed of room service is absolutely impressive. A perfect business class hotel. Would be great if the swimming pool had temperature control and the towels are bit smaller. Had to flex my muscles to wrap it around :)

The place is good but menu is low

We stayed in the hotel for 1 whole month when we shifted to Chennai. It is conveniently located on one of the arteries of the city. The rooms are luxurious, comfortable and big. The bathrooms are nice and clean and kept well. They have several restaurants and all offer very tasty and unique tastes and flavours. The buffet restaurant has great spread of breakfast. They keep changing the menu and there is variety. I had one of the best pesto pasta here. The portion sizes are great too. We ordered dinner most of the days in room and more often than not they used to send us a complimentary dessert. The cloths that come back from laundry are kept in these beautiful basket / trays on the bed. Loved the attention to detail. Totally enjoyed our stay here.

We enjoyed the rooftop North Indian restaurant. Very breezy and fun ambience. Nice Punjab songs were playing. The food is good but nothing that stands out. Yet we enjoyed the overall place. The chef also came and met us about the food. The top roof also has a great looking bar with the amazing view of Chennai at night!

Excellent place. Nice hotel. Ambience was great. Hotel has swimming pool and other playing facilities. Food served was excellent. Especially veg foods are good. Staffs are very friendly and in case of any request response was quick. Parking facilities are good. Cab service is also available.

The South Indian thali was awesome with kaara kuzambu the signature gravy. The staff were cordial in dishes replacement also and I had 4 chappthis with mutton naatu kolambu . The chappthis were with no oil with good well done mutton dish. I enjoyed all the servings . Only drawback was air conditioning was not well operational at that time .

Ambience is really good .. the starters are good but not much of variety... Food is nice and the best part is that they have covered many cusines... I have tried sushi which is really good.... They can improve the dessert menu...which is very normal... I dont find any exclusive dishes in it.

Had a great time at the Raintree Hotel during our stay for 2 nights. Rooms are well appointed with all amenities in the washroom as well as a well stocked minibar. The staff are very courteous and prompt. The terrace top swimming pool and bar is awesome! The complimentary breakfast could be more well spread but absolutely no complaints. Highly recommend if you are planning a trip to Chennai.

The hotel is located bang on anna salai. I visited the terrace restaurant for a birthday party. The set up was small but had a great view of the city. The food was decent. Over all a good experience

Been there twice with my family. Rooms are modern and spacious. Rooms are sound proofed. Bed is so comfortable. The best is the location of the hotel. Breakfast spread consists of wide variety from continental to south indian. Their punjabi restaurant is must mention. Do try without fail.

Reception was courteous, clean environs and food tasty

The hotel is good with options of both smoking and non-smoking groups. Good for a diverse group of smoking and non-smoking buddies. The breakfast buffet was lip-smacking with a wide range of food including soulful South- Indian and North-Indian delicacies, Chinese and even Dimsums! Along with other regular buffet dishes. Not to forget the ever so mouth watering line-up of deserts! Chocolate pudding being a must have!

If youre organizing an event, this place had hands down the best service Ive seen from the men and women working the banquet halls. Definitely in my top recommended list for events big and small. The venue was well kept throughout the day, service was prompt, food was great and you feel like youre getting your moneys worth at the end of the day. No better compliment in my book.Service - A+Food - AVenue - AThe only setback is the size of the venue; it would not work for large populations (unless it keeps floating in and out consistently)
