Overall the stay was good, however due to network issue we asked them to connect a call to mobile number for which they charged us which was very high. There was no note being given to us when we asked them to call in a hurry. For us, its fine but for normal people if they doesnt know this it would be really challenging for them to pay suddenly.

The environment was pleasant and welcoming. Had the most disgusting experience with the hotel.We made a reservation in the morning with the restaurant at 10:am to check the menu and confirmed our table booking at 2:pm for the lunch.During which the restaurant stated that due to less customers they will be providing the menu on the table, for which we agreed.At 1:50 we called up the restaurant to reconfirm the booking.We arrived at 2:15 pm at the restaurant and after 45 mins of waiting we were served soup and salad … after another 30 mins were were given 1 starter out of the two and followed by which the main course arrived, which were noodles and dal makhani then came the 2nd starters and curd rice which were totally irrelevant to each other so we couldn’t start eating and waited for another 20 mins for the rest of the items.Immediately after after placing the 2nd set of items the waiter informed us about kitchen closing and wanted us to confirm the refills, for which we told him that we will update in sometime.After a few mins before we could order the refills the waiter bought in the desserts and informed us that the kitchen is closed. Meanwhile we also updated the person on some corrections such as less salt, uncooked items etc . But none of this was taken into consideration.The desserts were moong dal halwa and gulab jamun which were meant to be eaten hot but since it was already placed in our table so we couldn’t really think about the main course refills n went ahead with the desserts. I asked the staff of at least desserts will be refilled if needed for which he said we would but eventually they said they cant. Finally came in the ice cream which again they denied to provide again.Welcome drink came in the very end which was a soda based drink that lacked any fizz or chilled. Which was plain colored water .it was already placed in our table so we couldn’t really think about the main course refills n went ahead with the desserts. I asked the staff of at least desserts will be refilled if needed for which he said we would but eventually they said they cant. Finally came in the ice cream which again they denied to provide again.Welcome drink came in the very end which was a soda based drink that lacked any fizz or chilled. Which was plain colored water .At this point we were sooo dissatisfied and upset that we had to face such as experience . We informed the chef about the same and they did not even offer us any goodwill.Kindly see the below1. During the morning call to confirm our arrival at 2 we werent informed about the kitchen closing time at 3, if they would have .. we might have gone earlier.2. On arrival also they delayed the food and made us sit for straight 1 hr and knowingly delayed time so they could just restrict us from asking refills.3. It was mentioned unlimited menu but it felt more like a set menu meal.4. None pf the refills were provided again no value for money.5. Very slow service not even water was given6. unprofessional staff behaviour7. Our concerns were not addressed by the management inspite of raising the issue then and there.8. Poor taste and hurried service9. Did not feel like a star hotel at all in all means10. No baby high chair for the child was provided even after several requests11. Limited menu and limited servings in the name of unlimited buffet .12. Very bad customer relationship team.13. Ended up being a bad day for the family and caused more issues within us due to this.Overall a very very veryyyy bad experience with the hotel.

Pros: Clean rooms, Nice ambience, Polite & friendly staffs, Good food with great taste.Cons:1) Poor security guards in front gate: Every time you enter to hotel using your own vehicle, the security guard will ask some question like where are you going? what is your room number etc.. If you wanted to step out few times during your stay it will be irritating to answer his questions. There must be some standard maintained - for example, they should have noted the vehicle number (in case of own vehicle) of staying guests or even they can give some temp pass for a vehicle.2) No lift in parking. If you are driving your own vehicle to aloft, be prepared to climb and walk.. Again this would be irritating/frustrating when you need to go out few times during your stay.3) Rude security guard: We had a bad incident when we did checkout. We just stopped our car at exit area (near pedestrian/service road) for less than one minute to discuss some important plan. Within this fraction of minute time, security guard came and asked us to move our car; though there is no other cars coming out and there is no disturbance to anyone. Engine was on and I am in driver seat and it is just less than a minute time. Also we have stayed there for 4 days. But without any basic sense the way he treated us was really frustrating. Instead of asking us to leave, he should have given another option (like kindly stop your car here and take time to discuss) as there are plenty of space available in entry/exit area.This last incident has spoiled everything and we felt very bad about staying in aloft. Not sure if I would come back to Aloft next time.There must be some education or standards for front gate security.. other wise, it would be perfect stay for us.

Lack of maintenace is the big problem for this hotel. Location is good and quiet. Room had mosquito problem, toilet was crooked and bathroom door had huge gap and water was running out. Floor carpet had stains. Half the items in complimentary breakfast buffet were empty and not refilled. But Worth for 2000 i paid for a night with breakfast.

Aloft OMR is my regular place of stay when I travel to Chennai with work around Sholinganallur. It’s located at a very convenient spot where essentials and public transport are right in front. The staff there are always very helpful, and food at Aloft is always mouth watering.

Room was very classy, providing room service on time.

They havent said they will charge extra for 3rd person while booking the room online...

The banquet hall is really top notch, set with round tables and chairs in white. Mr Sunil, Ayon Das and team were of great help with setting up the hall and buffet. The buffet was served by the team with at most safety by wearing gloves, masks and face shield making us feel really comfortable. Goes without saying, the rooms were excellent and well maintained

Okie to start with I had a booking and this was the first time I was going g here on a recommendation of a friend. At the first the Ambiance was really good and I did love the place but the service they provided was really poor. I ordered food from outside and when I was asked for plates they said that they cannot give plates due to the covid norms, but the reason Mr. Satish (Receptionist) gave me was really funny. He says that the food might not be sanatized and thats the reason we dont provide plates and it was just the starting. Later down the A/c stops working the A/c engineer checked it twice and he said that it was Thier fat and that they would change the room. But again the ppl from the reception failed to do so cos the reason they gave me was that there were three guests in the room and according to GOVT PROTOCOL I was suppose to keep the A/c at 22 degrees. Lol over all Hats off to the team in giving a very terrible stay experience. I mean where are your standards? If this is how you want to treat people then why even promise the best. #Worststay will never recommend.

Horrible reception, insensitive desk that doesnt understand customer critical situation. We came from hyd to Chennai upon sudden death of my periyappa. I booked ALOFT OMR on 9th Jan and checked-in on 10th morning around 9.30 am. The day prior I made reservations for 5 ppl and goibibo showed 2 rooms accommodating 5 in OMR so I booked. Upon arrival reception desk refused to let us checkin quoting two ppl per room policy and asked us to pay extra 2.5k something.. for check-out at 1 pm.I told them we there just to dump our luggage and we will heading for funeral n just need rooms for fresh up leave.They didnt budge and didnt allot rooms for 45 mins making all 5 senior citizens aged around 70 yrs old.Most callous, thoughtless n insensitive help desk thats doesnt care as human beings.Their amenities n location may b good, but they are MOST commercial uncaring trained to be rude n arrogant executives. Their doorkeeper is more sensitive n courteous helping our old age kin than reception guys.Zero for humility in this hospitality industry

It was a pleasant stay, cost effective. Food was okay. The only improvement i wanted was the snooker table. The cloth of the tabel was little torn and they could have had an english table in some activity area. Ambience was good. No trouble in stay. Peaceful checkin and comfortable check out timings.

Aloft’s banquet hall was one of the best we could find in Chennai. Ambience was great. Food was okay. The manager was very professional and helpful in arranging our event. Great venue!

Its ok type hotel

Its a hotel that will surely fit the pocket,needs and also offer Marriott experience. It certainly is a slightly traditional hotel but it is a hotel that extends great customer experience. Front office is fabulous. Bar Staff is excellent. Chauffeurs are well behaved. Perfect location.

Delicious cake.Ordered a 2 kg birthday cake. Chocolate cake with strawberry fresh cream topped with strawberry fruit and chocolate chips.Best cake I’ve ever had in my life.Thanks to Chef Arputharaj and courteous service by other staff.

I got the nearbuy coupon and went to the bar.1. We can order the same type of drink per voucher2. The side dish is chefs special. So you dont get your choice but it is provided to you3. If you get a deal for two side dishes, they give you a veg and one non-veg. You dont get two non-veg dishes4. The patrons are helpful and provide you with a refill of the complimentary snacks5. The ambience is good with one large screen for entertainmentI would have given 5 stars if they provided with the customers choice of side dishes.

Had a short company function. Food was okay but most of the dishes served appeared bland. Chicken tasted so flavourless. Felt the veg dishes were good. Desserts were okay. Venue too dull with old tapestry and dull looking carpet. Too dark choice for color when it comes to the hall. Poor lighting and below standard cutlery. Over all okay hotel.

The room is well maintained and the food is nice. The house keeping and the restaurant are very good. Though the front office was horrible, there was no one to attend and I have to carry my luggage for check in and even to the room. I dont find much hospitality here.

Hi ,I visited Aloft on 6th Nov with complete my team members and customer its totally waste of money. We were continuously complaining about the food that day, but they didnt care. I dont suggest to anybody especially team lunch or dinner at Aloft Think thrice before going to this place the food wasn’t worth for that much of money we pay.To be honest only three dishes in the bbq started but we went with 6NV & 6 Veg but they served only 3 NV and 5 Veg that to only one time if we ask another plate they are preparing and we waited for 30 mins its screwed us costly , The main course was average. Desserts were absolutely terrible. And other Indian desserts were made with left over rice, milk and loads of sugar.I wouldn’t recommend you to shell out your hard-earned money on gimmicks like these. You can go to your favourite restaurant, order what you want and eat peacefully instead of eating random trash.Messed with customer and came out with zero peace of mind.Rgds,Bala

Aloft located in shollinganallur. Easily identifiable.We planned to have team dinner in aloft.Reserved for 17 seats.Arrived on time. 7.30PMParking was spacious and good.Dinner prepared and the seating arrangement is also the best.First we were served with starters.Starters were too good. But for 17 members we felt that the quantity was not enough.So after having some discussion with the manager they served some more.. Thats fine. 😀Main course dnt have many varieties. But it was good.Dessert has many varieties. And also tasty.Staff who servered also kind.After having dinner.. We spent some time in the reception spot and had chit chat..The reception location is good and it is a nice place to take some pictures if you go as a team..Overall we have enjoyed a lot and had fun. 😍

Hotel is located in prime location. Rent was cheaper than expected. What blew our mind was the interior decoration. Rooms were absolutely stunning and designed with tge convenience of guests in mind. The breakfast was awesome with a wide range of foods. I wont even look for another place if I have stay again in this area in the future.

Aloft - one of the early established hotels in OMR. Ample space for car and bike parking. Easily one can identify this place from the OMR road. The bar inside does offer Pitchers at nominal price. The food joint inside offers a excellent buffet. Most of the time its less crowded and hence you can enjoy your drink or lunch or the dinner at a decent Ambience.

It was a very pleasant stay and the room was clean and tidy. Only issue i faced is that the third party did not mention the additional charges for the extra person. I would advice to have third parties the knowledge on these extra charges so that customers are aware, rather surprised at the lobby.

Nice and spacious room. Food and staff is also polite and quite good. I tried only Dot Yum restaurant. They have one bar which looks to cheesy and shiny so didn’t try that. Overall I would suggest to go for it in prices they offer. And many offices are also near but outside traffic is too much.

Stay and food was good, found mosquitoes in the room, even during day time could see mosquitoes. Such a high end hotel having mosquitoes in room is totally unacceptable, gave feedback to front desk team, hope this will be taken care, never expected mosquitoes in such a high-end hotel

I have stayed Aloft in Chennai during my India visit.I would like to tell that I have really enjoyed a breakfast here.I am able to see lots of verity of South Indian, Indian, and continental breakfast.The breakfast taste was awesome. I am not sure that the breakfast is complementary or not as I have stayed with company sponsorship. Please check with hotel about this breakfast charges. The room was very comfort. It has nice mattresses and compact pillows. Here too I was worrying about the bed bugs. And, there are no bed bugs.The Hotel is located in premier place where you will get Taxi/Auto or public transport very easily.The Airport is about 40 min drive (depending upon the time of your departing or arriving).About room, the room was clean and very neat. The normal rooms can occupy a family of 2 adults and 2 kids. The room where we have stayed was good enough for us.They are offering free parking (I believe).The pool was good at that time when I was staying.Also, you will get free internet access.The internet speed was good for your personal and office work.Have a nice stay!
