Good comfort budget hotel at prime area Saligramam. Close to avm studio Prasad studio and walkable distance to forum mall and metro station. For twin bed double occupy 1200₹ fair deal and clean on my experience.

I am a traveller and stayed in many places, regarding location, sunshine residency is ok. We can reach there without any hussle. As far as condition of the room in concerened it is just average, which i can tolerate or adjust. But the worst worst worst part is service. One of the worst service i ever received ( ofcourse i am only talking about one particular staff, who was in reception in early morning, dnt knw his name). I wondered how a reputed hotel could appoint such a staff, whose level of bahviour is way below negative. I booked online and i know there was no refund policy still i thought of losing the money just because of his behavior. I am sure noone will visit here for a second time if he keep on this attitude.

Safe residence with good room service rooms are neat and tidy price is ok but food facility not available in hotel has to be brought from outside but its ok since the room service will help you in that

Stayed for a night, rooms are small but clean, got second floor a/c room with double cot, Lift available but small in size.they Provided water, soap and body&hair cleanser. Unfortunately tap never provided hot water. A/c was ok. Every room have movable table, its convenient to pull near to bed. I got offer from OYO. So the price was ok, otherwise it may be high for the size of the room.

For a comfortable stay

The room was very clean. Room service was good. OYO manager often came to us asking if we needed anything and if we were comfortable. We had a good experience. There are lots of rooms in the building. Its located in a really good place with hotels and malls nearby.My only complaint would be the bathroom smelled bad. Ventilation is not good. Itd good if the management used to room fresheners to help make the experience better.

This Oyo residency is one of the best in class and its totally worth the money you spend for each day.The complimentary breakfast that you get will actually taste good. Everyday the room service keeps the place clean.The behavior of the managing staff and the working staff is really fine. The hugeeeeeee plus is that its located near the center of the city... nungambakkam so you can travel to any place comparitively quickly as possible.also they have a lot of shops and restaurants nearby to fill your stomachs at a cheap rate with quality food before you travel anywhere where its totally a rip off for extravaganza and not for the food.they also help you to book taxis and autos in advance if you want them to. So at the end of the day everyone win so I highly recommend THIS place for family and friends.KINDLY LIKE THIS if you find this review useful in any way.So I would give this place a 5 star.

I will definitely rate 10 stars for this hotel.Its surely a home away from home.All the staff and in charge and manager everyone helped well. All the services so good.Very low price for such a high quality service. So many nearby hotels for food. Easy for transportation. Metro, bus stand, everything is very near. Worth at vadapalani rooms

I was here for a few hours to get a quick nap and fresh up after an overnight journey and before I had some work during the day time here in Chennai.I had booked a room online and had informed the executive on call that Ill make an early check-in. I was informed that Ill need to pay 30% extra for early check-in which I agreed to. However, when I reached I was told that they received no information regarding early check-in and that Ill have to pay for the day if I wanted to check-in. Since it was early in the morning (around 4:30 AM), I didnt want to run around searching for another room and I checked-in agreeing to pay for another day.However, on reaching the room, I found the blanket with oil stains all over it (PFA the pictures). I asked for the blankets to be changed on which the boy on duty took me to another room which had similar conditions. I had to make do with the arrangements in place and thought its better I dont crib anymore.

The hotel has a very good location. rooms are small but neat and tidy. mr. thomas on reception was very co-operative. whole staff is courteous. i stayed there twice. my experience was very satisfactory.

VERY BADThe room was neat and tidy.But I dint feel it was safe for a solo woman traveller.I wanted to extend my stay for 1 more day, due to the upcoming event. But on the second night of stay around 10.30pm someone came near my room and switched off all the lights, AC, TV from outside. But then it came back suddenly, I thought it was current cut, but then someone walked away. I dint open my door.Again by 12.30am midnight, I heard a door bell ranging to my room and some guys speaking I got scared but I dint open the door, next time there was a big bang on the door and some men were speaking, still I dint respond, after 2mins again there was a bell, and when I called the reception they replied saying it was a mistake, someone else ordered room service. Do room service will respond to a hotelier with this harsh attitude at night?The next day morning I was out and was late by 30mins to checkout, when I came back my room was opened by the hotel staff.When enquired about the incident, they admitted saying yes because you were not available in intercom so they opened to check!!! we did gave our mobile no. for communication. why need to intrude without permission..no privacy in the hotel for women stayerVery bad.I am regular traveller and every were woman travellers are respected and treated properly, this is my first worst experience ever.Also there was a big door inside the toilet which was not even locked, when questioned they said it was for drainage purpose. Plus the bedsheet was stained and not comfortable.Will give 0 rating to this hotel

The hotel is located in a prime location. The rooms are very small. So it is better for a solo traveller. Not ideal for family who travel with kids or elders. Cleanliness of the hotel is not up to the mark. Dirty bed covers and pillow covers. Service of the staff was quite okay. Preferably okay for a take it easy traveller.

Very very bad attitude of the receptionist, rude behaviour, rooms are not sanitised, very bad smell in rooms, and very very worst behaviour by the staff.

No proper maintenance with stains all over the bed, closet, bathroom and even the dustbins.Breakfast can be rated as average.Most of the staff members were cooperative and calm. Only one staff ran his mouth over all issues as he had an answer for every question in the world (youll understand it better when you meet him).On the whole, Im disappointed with the stay.  PS: I had an early check-in and paid ₹199 for Classic/Double Saver Room(This is just an information). They were also kind enough to provide me a receipt for it.

Hotel is good, but oyo app dint give me the offer it promised for making advance payment. The offered amount kept showing as pending after i paid the full amount payable as shown by the app. The oyo customer care lady put me on hold for more than 20min, and the call got cut without any response . When i called 2nd time, that fellow asked me a proof of that offer by sharing the screenshot. I never expected oyo would cheat me like this, so dint think of taking the screenshot when the offer was displayed. I lost hope on customer care and decided to pay, as the hotel insisted i must pay. The app kept showing as pending, but not allowing me to pay through the app also. Finally i had to pay that amount in the hotel, while checking out. Even the hotel people blamed oyo customer care for their worst response, based on their experience.

I booked a room here using FabHotel app. But the contract was ended the morning of the day I was going to check-in at 12pm. After reaching the reception, the way receptionist behaved was so rude and unacceptable towards a visitor/customer. An elderly guy was there (may be manager), he told the same thing but in a smoother manner. Later, I had to talk with FabHotel customer care, they shifted my room to a nearby hotel named Emerald manor which is 2km from this Sunshine Residency. Fabhotel representative was not reachable. And after reaching the new hotel, as I was shifted, they took sometime to give me a room finally. It took some hours of time, money and energy to get back to the new hotel. So please dont visit this hotel, Sunshine Residency, give it a miss with pleasure if you want to spend a quality time.

Hotel location was fine since its on main Road easily connected. Hotel room was just ok, do not come with expectations else will be disappointed. Front office staff wasnt helpful and was not ready to listen much. Lot of noise as many others staying there. Bathroom was not up to mark. Could have been better.

Nice stay.Service was good. The best thing is it is located nearer to vadapalani temple. The main drawback is there is no parking area, infront of hotel we can park only 3 or 4 cars.

This is a reasonably good hotel and well managed. Had an issue with TV remote and got it fixed immediately. No issue in locating the hotel and there is plenty of eating option. This is 15 mins walk away from the famous forum mall.

No restaurant, you get your breakfast served at room but other times you have to arrange your own or they will bring from outside if you request them, but you have no options of menu to select from. It was excellent stay and its located near to vadapalani murugan temple and the transoprts like buses or metro station very easy to access

The reception person was more concerned that we should check out at 11:45 am even when we have not checked in. Never received this kind of welcome ever. Moreover I was putting up a night there only before his surgery next day, but then also continuously insisted on checking out while checking in. Had no other option so had to check in.

Very bad experience, not worth the price at all. No proper parking space, you have to keep moving your car when others have to take out theirs. Very narrow corridor and small lift, only 3 people can fit. No drinking or outside food allowed. Rooms are very poorly maintained, walls are stained, bed sheet and blankets were full of stain marks. Not at all happy about the stay.
