NOT IDEAL FOR FAMILY STAYThere are many factors that prevents choosing this resort for a family stay. Mainly the hospitality is bad and there is an evident mistreatment for guest who have booked rooms online.The complimentary breakfast buffet offered for guests from online booking is different from the buffet offered for offline guests. They have limited serving of fresh juice for online guests, whereas the guests who booked offline get unlimited servings and so on. Also the venue for the guest are different, since I walked out after the disappointing breakfast incident the same manager who denied me and extra glass of juice was overlooking the other buffet for offline guest which was loaded with more items and self service juice dispenser. When I enquired regarding the same to that manager. All that he could offer me was a sheepish smile. These kind of behaviours prevent guests from revisiting the same resort forever. Hope the management understands this soon.They offer the worst rooms for online booking guest with poor lighting and balconies dont have a manual lock from the inside. They dont even offer drinking water for their guest and aim to charge them by selling mineral water bottles.Overall it was a disappointing stay at Green Coconut Resort-ECR.

Resort ok. i am booked cottage room(607). Ok neat they provide bedsheet, towel, soap, shampoo, toothpaste and brush. TV,AC, fan all are working properly. its ok. But major problem outside foods not allowed, they provide food very costly and too bad 😒. Am ordered 2 chicken fried rice Rs.500+25 GST. Privacy good. staffs are friendly and polite. No any disturbance. Happy to stay with my partner 😊

Worst room, worst amneties, very very disappointed.. While booking, the photos provided looks like copied from some other good resorts.. Cleaning happens once in a year it seems when walking in the room and outside.. Never recommend to anyone..horrible and terrible.

Overall stay is fine. Positives: Cricket Ground, TT Court, Nice and courteous manager prem, Good Response to our needs. Based on the needs, freshwater is supplied to the swimming pools kid section during 2nd day. For family not supportive room environment. And dont prefer free lunch in the app itself. No varieties or choices.Water heater is there but no hot water. maintenance not supportive. We have to take normal water.They need to relook into all qualities.

Nice place to spend the weekend. We are disappointed due to close of swimming pool because of covid restrictions. Resort located on west side, so, no seashore, even that we dont feel much. Lot of gaming activities are provided. Food is excellent. Rooms are good. Reciprocative staff and managers. Staying for a day is best that too in Weekend. Resort is for fun and frolic 👍👍

We as a family of 11 stayed in deluxe rooms.. Toilets are not clean, water leaking issue is there.Manager is very helpful in cleaning it.. But since basically toilets are not good, as soon as cleaning is done, again leaking starts and bathroom is filled partially with water ...Lunch is good. TT court is there. Swimming Pool is bit dirty, we insisted to provide clean water on the KIDS section, next day morning they have provided the same.. Good support from the management.Cricket Ground is great. Children area is there.Dogs are there in the property, so if you wander with food parcels outside room especially non veg during night, High probability that dogs will follow you..Overall an average experience ...

We had a very disappointing stay. Deluxe room is not so deluxe. Felt like a local lodge. Room was not clean. Remotes didnt work. Whole building was untidy. Mistake on our part. We went by the photographs.

Its ok. For a just ECR drive and a stay in it. Nothing much. Even the bar is recommended only for local guys.

Good place to chill with frds and family trip . . The name itself says green coconut resort which is true it does have lot of coconut tree and Greenery . I did not like food much though . Over all its a nice place for spending time with loved ones

Service is not upto the mark.. The reception employees , who front end with peoples is not good. They should improve on people handling and tone is not polite. Resort should focus on educating employees on handling peoples.

I went there for a get-together with my colleagues. The rooms were not clean. Bed linen and the bathroom were also not cleaned properly. Water supply was unstable. Bath fixtures were in poor quality. Last but not the least, food at the restaurant was not good, undercooked. Overall , Dogs is everywhere & corridor are very very dirty totally it was a very bad experience. After so many remainder for housekeeping but nobody came to clean corridor. Swimming pool very very bad.

Since I couldnt give less than 1 start, I have to give 1 star.. We went for a team outing here... Turned out to be a pathetic experience.. No facilities at all. If you want to have some good fun, pls dont choose this resort. And the staffs are so pathetic. Horrible experience

Pathetic experience..Never book rooms in annexure building.Lightings r poor in the room. Bathroom with broken pipe handles.Restuarant night food is bad. Pools are not clean.The only good thing is Morning breakfast..it is great.

We stayed here for a night as a couple who badly needed a break after this lockdown and all . Location was good . But they should improve their service ability and other fun activities. The games room was unfilled with gaming materials 🙄.Food was not complainable.

Worst management. We rented out this place for our wedding and had the worst experience. Even though the food was good, the rooms were insanely dirty and they couldnt even provide fan for the bride and groom in the lawn. No cutlery provided for cakes or any salads and the dining area was infested with flies so were the rooms. The place doesnt have adequate lighting so we had many poeple slip and fall on the wet pathways due to rain. The lawn wasnt mowed properly and the lobby was so dirty we had to ask house keeping to clean the place repeatedly with no result. The manager Nandhakumar is very sweet and pleasing while taking the order but during the event he is resentful and shockingly harsh post event. Its the worst experience from a resort and I plead with everyone never to host events in this place.

Not at all worth for the money. Better stay somewhere else rather than trying here. No maintenance, Toilets are bad, Complimentary breakfast is also bad. Customer servicing is also the same. AC😭. No power sockets to charge the phone if you want to charge you need to disconnect TV and then charge. Never try swimming pool you’ll end up bleeding. No lift.But if you look from outside everything will be good.

Please please dont stay here with family or with anyone if you love your life.

Very Worst ExperienceWe Booked Suite Room But the they given us seems like Lodge room . The Room is not properly cleaned Before Given To us . While booking it shows free Wi-Fi But there is no WiFi Or even TV we complained but they didnt even send any person to rectify the issue. The swimming pool is very worst not even properly celaned full of watse particles floating like dumpyard and the swimming pool Tiles are cutting the feet and Hurting the skin I had many cuts in my feets and hands Please Avoid these kind of PlacesWaste of moneyWaste of time

I am giving 3 Stars only for the hospitality and services provided by the resort, it was just amazing, they were really helpful. The only reason i am not giving a better rating is Because of the rooms and cleanliness, the rooms are not up to the mark and cleanliness of rooms and halls and restaurants were really below average. Only if this aspect they change upon I would definitely love to come back here.

Dont choose annexure building in green coconut resort under the impression that its part of the resort. Its located at few building away from the resort. Had I been told this clearly in advance would have avoided it. Its completely isolated from the resort.

First room cleaning service is waste calling for a long time and coming late second all landline are dead I dont know why they are keeping landline if it is dead

Main resort is good, but if manager find your as bachelor with a gang they will push for annexure building that sites outside premises. It looks like a lodge. We asked them to provide different room and they provided rooms inside resort premises in tha back. Room was not maintained very well but you get what paid for. Back side Hiranandani and channel water view is awesome

I Went there for a wedding at during evening around 7. So I didnt enjoy their facilities, but went for restroom near swimming pool which was not well cleaned.The wedding food was nice, I am not sure whether the food was organized by resort or some other catering.

Acutally I checked in today early morning and taken a cottage for a day.. Believe me its not worth for 3.5k ..please go with any other resorts..No proper maintenance & Full of dust inside the tables and chairs ..Especially AC is very worst even I kept it in 16c but still it is not at all cool.Complimentary breakfast is fine

Best place to stay with family, we enjoyed a lot have lot of fun activities, great customer support and have good ambiance. We can let out kids in park have all gaming for kids.. And swimming pool is simply superbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbb. We can enjoy with the family without any disturbance. Food quality is okkkkkkkkkk but they need to improve a lot.. Rooms available aprx 4k to 5k.4k rooms are average cleanliness only.The receptionist is so kind. One common average size swimming pool is available. Garden areas are good. Safe place for family. Available in ECR road itself so no need search. For beach need to cross the main road and need to walk aprx 500 mts

The place sure satisfies people with a touch of comfort and convenience . A perfect place to conduct get togethers reception for a small amount of population like 100 - 150 people.

Standard room in the annex is not good

Nice location, though not at Beach side, very calm ambiance and helping staff. Feel like you are in a coconut farm. Food is little spicy but ok. I was on a day out for my corporate meeting, the place is clean and no idea about the rooms. Nice swimming pool and the sit out near pool is relaxing. Good to have a lunch on the way back Chennai when you are traveling towards Chennai through ECR.

Good place for get together in small groups👌🠼.. Swimming pool was well maintained and sports space was really good. Good maintanace overall. Only issue is AC could have better in rooms since cooling effect in both rooms that we booked are not expectation.

Such a lovely place we all totally 5 families went there. Our kids also enjoyed very much. Very affordable price including food . Room was more spacious, near and well maintained. Staffs are took special care for us. Thanks to green coconut team.

1. First of all, If you book the resort online on any specific website, then they would recommend you take the room out of the resort campus. Because of the online rates. People who think this has a cheaper price would only go at shock. They have a lodge adjacent to the resort campus and theyd only ask you to take the room. If you insist you want to change the room, then theyd say they dont have any rooms left in the main campus. This could only be considered a Lodge. But, after a while of conversation and arguments, theys say there are deluxe rooms available at an extra cost. Which will be twice the price of the original cost you have already paid.2. The room service is the most pathetic. We were a group of six people and we had a lunch ordered in the restaurant within the campus. But, they wouldnt take back the plates when needed and wouldnt consider cleaning the room when you needed. A friend of mine wanted drinking water from the previous night, but they wouldnt care to deliver it or even respond on a proper note.3. The rooms are too old to be good enough for the price paid and calling it the deluxe rooms is a pathetic situation. The rooms smell very bad at the first instance. The bathroom have no proper drainage system. Salt water throughout the campus.4. The food is the only good part. But the cost paid is 1.5 times the original price available in the city. Also, they take a 30 to 45 minutes to deliver the food.5. Preference of customers and partiality in handling them. The corporate people who come in a large quantity for weekend parties are given the first priority. They dont welcome or even encourage the low volume customers. The whole space of the resort only has enough space for very few activities.6. The complementary breakfast was good in my view, but that too will be good enough only when you go on time. anytime later would only be served the bread and butter.7. The receptionists were rude enough to only extract more money from the customers. specially, the people named Raghavan, Charles & Iqbal. Hopeless customer service and the was of extraction of money was vital in my view.Verdict: For a lodge facing far away from the beach with worst customer service and over priced food, you could stay back at home and enjoy a great day watching TV and playing with your kids.

Its the best hotel in the town. The rooms & services of this hotel are just excellent. The managers & even the other staffs way of approaching is very good. The food over here was just excellent too. I would like to suggest this hotel to the other customers as well.
