An old school watering hole in Adyar, offering reasonably priced drinks and great tasting food. Ambiance is about okay, dimly lit, and can be considered dingy :)There is a bar room, and an adjoining room with a billiards table. There are bar table areas in both rooms. A smoking areas is also present outside the closed air conditioned space.As with budget friendly drinking places in Chennai, keep your expectations realistic. There are usually no women here. There is a rest room on site that is about okay. Cleanliness is decent. Staff are efficient and there are a lot of free snacks.Of the dishes on the menu, the Chill Beef was excellent, 1 plate wasnt enough.Membership is required, with both short term and annual membership being sold. The latter allowing for discounts. Identity details are recorded as part of the membership process, thus ensuring some level of documentation and control.If youre looking for a decent, no nonsense, no frills drinking spot, with good food, SNS will fit the bill.

A simple Bar with amazing food. They have snooker and pool also. This is one of the few bars in India that needs Membership to visit the bar. You can make a spot purchase of Membership worth 50 or 100 bucks and then inside its all yours.Try the fish fry for sure.
