Food: 5/5Ambience: 5/5Service: 5/5Parking spaces: Only three or four cars can be parked in front of the store.Visited the one near Adyar gate. The place was quite busy. One of the best places to visit for Middle eastern food lovers. We ordered Spinach and garlic Hummus and it was excellent.Next we ordered Mushroom dish(Name Ive forgotten) and it was loaded with mushrooms unlike the small bits and pieces we find in other places.Flat bread pizza had thin crust and adequate toppings. It was delicious.Baklava for dessert was perfect. One thing I felt was a little bit disappointing was the number of pita bread served with hummus and other dishes. They serve one pita bread with each dish, they taste brilliant but theres just one. We couldnt find the option to order pita bread separately so we had a lot of hummus but nothing to eat it with.

Food:Zaatar Fried Chicken – A Panko crumbed chicken with their unique spices served with their signature garlic sauce (tastes almost like mayo); though the meat was thin it was crunchy and freshHarissa Chicken – A marinated Chicken breast, grilled and served with a dip, fries, pickled vegetables and pita; the pita was easily the softest I had ever had in my life while the fries were long and spicy enough with the meat. The chicken layers would literally melt as we chow them downLamb Souvlaki – The most tender lamb with a hint of garlic, onion and peppers, grilled and served with yoghurt cheese. The lamb couldn’t have been cooked better but could have asked for an alternative dip owing to the blandness of the cheese dipSpinach Lahmojoun – A thin long pizza on top of which was the sautéed spinach, garlic, cream cheese and feta; the feta dominated most of the bite while the whole meal was sour and rich in green spinachBaklava – Signature Pastry of the Middle east with nuts, baked and soaked in rose-infused sugar syrup; the syrup was good but the layers with the softness of the sweet in the middle were too good; this is UNIQUEChocolate Ganache Cake – A typical soft brownie with the hot sauce poured and flowing down the hill; very sweet and had a great texture to end the meal withAmbience/Price:This place has got great lighting but limited seating. Off-street parking shouldn’t be an issue and the service too was courteous and commendable. Price? Yes, it is on the higher side but can try once since they’ve got great Middle-eastern flavours which are hard to find in Chennai.*Personal rating would be a 4.5

Mezze is newly opened in Chennai and the place itself is light and airy. There are 2 car parks available right in front of the restaurant. It’s diagonally opposite to the Starbucks hence that part of the road is a little busy. Covid-19 protocols were followed, our temperatures were checked when we entered and our hands sanitizer. All waiters wore masks at all times. The food itself was pretty good. I have had Mediterranean in other parts of the word which are more authentic and better but for Chennai, this place is definitely good. The hummus is especially good, just wish they served it with real pita chips. The pita itself is not the real pita you get with Mediterranean food but it’s a version of chappati. The falafel, harissa, tzatziki were good. The pizza was a miss for me, it was too cheesy and didn’t have much Mediterranean flavors. The baklava also was not that great.Overall good ambiance, good parking, good vibe and decent food. You won’t be disappointed, do visit Mezze.

Middle Eastern food is definitely close to my heart for various reasons and now its synonymous with Mezze! The ambience is quite calm, cozy and casual. Their ceiling and wall is also beautifully done with cute crafts and light bulbs.Though the menu isn’t that extensive, they serve some of the hard to miss, classic dishes. They have a limited seating, but the service is excellent and food arrives within 5-10 mins of placement of order.I loved the Zaatar Fried Chicken. It came along with toum. The chicken was tender, well cooked and fried with Za’atar coating. I absolutely loved the crunch and flavour in every bite.Lamb Sambusak was killer too. A perfect savoury with your cup of Coffee. Fresh and succulent.Harissa Grilled Fish was on point. Fresh catch of the day grilled to perfection with Harissa paste. It was well paired with french fries, pita bread and toum.We also ordered a Spinach Lahmajoun, a Turkish delicacy. This was delicious and was very similar to our Indianized Pizza.Alongside the main-course, I ordered a Lemon Iced Tea which was so refreshing. Perfect to keep you hydrated this summer. Also, out of curiosity, tried their Filter Coffee. It wasn’t all that great but manageable. Then came the Baklava to end the meal on a good, sweet note. Super flaky, crisp and tender. Not too sweet yet very rich in taste and texture.Mezze is truly where the flavours of the Middle East come alive!
