The food here was amazing. I absolutely love the menu and the item I tasted was probably one of the best plates of food Ive had in Chennai. And the beer is good too. Personally I found the music to be much too loud and generally ill-suited to both the setting and the crowd, but loud night club and rap music seem to have invaded almost every pub and bar in the country, so Im not sure Id find more tasteful music elsewhere... Its a shame you cant enjoy food and drink anymore without having to shout. Id probably go around lunchtime (when its quieter) to enjoy the beer and food, which, I must reiterate, is top notch!

If you live nearby and want to catch a drink or two with some friends this is a good option. Its low key, not crowded so its almost as if you have the place to yourself. Food is decent drinks are moderately priced

A very nice place to be with friends on a weekend. Its Ambience, Food & Drinks are surely worth the try, the food being on top of the list, with no disappointments. The bartenders were so amicable and kind enough to explain the menu and serve. The management is slowly insisting on dress code (wearing shoes, is a must) , which is surely welcomed.

In short: almost good food, good decor, very loud music, no dance floor, poor sangria.At the entry, youll be asked for an ID and they take a photo of it- Id have preferred if it was a more formal process involving the outlets system than the bouncers phone. Weekends are usually crowded, and reservations doesnt book a spot for you/your group as we did reserve and we had to still wait for about 5mins, luckily only 5. The table/seats arent sanitized between customers- stickers for covid protocols- not the right place for you.The interior is filled with film stars photos and the dim lit ambiance is kinda great. The music was super loud and going with a group to converse would mean youll have to almost shout to speak to one another.Order times were high and coupled with the loud music (though great tracks), our group of 5 were enjoying the music as we shou(talked) about our days and all...The starters were good, except the honey chili fries- it was downright horrible- the inside was still hard, maybe from the freezer. The chestnut and paneer tikka were great. The pasta and chicken breast mains were tasty with juicy gravy and well made Id say. Forget the fries and itd have been a 5/5 for the food.Mexican Sangria felt like it was watered down and mostly a let down. A pitcher of 1L with atleast 100g of ice of costed 2170INR including taxes and didnt feel it worth the money- maybe we were cheated or maybe thats how they make the sangrias. Ive had way better sangrias at competent prices.Given the experience, if I have to visit a next time, Id go only if we dont have anything to speak, but just sit and relax, and enjoy the music (and maybe enjoy an ongoing sports event live on the TV) and for sure Id stick with the bottled/standard drinks with less bartending.

Destination: @gullybaar .When you think of a place to relax with drinks and dishes with a awesome theme and place, Gully Baar has all of those with flimsy around you while you enjoy your time!.You love cocktails 🍹🍸 this place has ranges of them with wine, beer, rum and vodka . If you want to try light you can try with their Mocktails🍷With lots of Sides to add..I tried pine julip from mocktail, why blood same blood and french touch cocktails! Each of them were made with good combinations and perfect mixtures! They tasted great individually!With them i had chicken and fries🍟squid fry 🍤and onion rings 🥨as their sides! They were cooked precisely and tasty! I loved the squid fries🍤I had chilli milli paneer cottage for my main course. Paneer was soft and the curry was good with the rice, finally i ended up with milo cheese cake. It was creamy and flavour was little dominant! Service was ok👍 price is affordable and they even have a pool table if you wish to have a leisure time!

It is a good place with good ambient. This is my favourite bar and the alcohol rate is also reasonable. Appetizers are little pricy. Overall its a good place to spend time.

Environment is good for both couple and friends. Dishes are really nice and the staffs are so friendly. The only thing I dont like is their songs choice. They only play hindi loud song which I felt little annoying. Otherwise, a decent to chill.

The veg starters at gully bar is really amazing.so many varieties of drinks also offered. Ambience also good and decent. Music system also cool.i will recommend to others to visit here.

A good bar with a nice setup. Im guessing they will be making much better profit if they reduce the price by 20% to 25%. If their target is the high class audience then they must increase the price. Another issue is the location. There was no indication of where the bar was, other than a main board. It is located on the second floor over a bank, which we had to walk in person and confirm ourself.

We went in a lil skeptical but the food just blew our minds. A cool place to hang out with friends, they have an ice hockey table which is a plus to enjoy some creative cocktails by Raj (bar tender) who is a friend now. Not to forget our manager Milkie who was warm and made us comfortable also made sure if we had any to change about the place. Gully bar is a must try if you are in Chennai or visiting. Enjoy the party guys.

It is a rum based cocktail with blackcurrant and lychee flavours that goes amazing together.Their drinks are not weirdly diluted and the music is definitely good.This is a must visit in Chennai.

A newly opened Pub in the current locality.Small, cosy and an easy going place.Interiors are good.We ordered Honey Chilli Fries twice because of its super cripsy and less oily feel. Sauces were very well balanced.Do try the Hulkman pizza there. The flavours, topping and the crispiness of the Pizza was just perfect. We had to limit to one pizza as we were full.Liquor is priced reasonably compared to the other pubs in the town.May be they can work a little bit on the music portion. We didnt enjoy the music. Service can be little faster as the place was 80% vacant and still service was quite slow, courteous though.Music selection & slow service made me not to give 5 stars.
