The name was Tea Trails when I used to go. They have changed the name since then, and I have not been to this cafe thereafter, because I had come back to Kerala. So the review is based on my experience at the then Tea Trails. It was by chance I got to know about this cafe and being a chai lover I decided to pay a visit. And lemme say, the cafe was rich in its ambience and in its varieties of tea and its other dishes. Theyve got a really wide range of different teas and other dishes, of which Irani Chai and Cheese balls are my fav. A bit costly, but worth trying. Each and every corner is suitable for a mobile click, so well is the arrangement they have. Theyve got a private conference room as well (Ive never been to it). The service was very good. Though located in the heart of the city, a quiet place to spend the evenings.

Liked the ambience. Never believed a tea will have these many combinations and varieties. Reducing my stars.This time I visited, I was made to wait for close to 30 min which is highly unacceptable. Very slow service.But the food quality is good.

Superb place to try various Tea. & They have dinning and Party hall as well.. The atmosphere is beautiful. They do regular events like stand up comedy, Salsa Classes, Meetups. It can be accommodate 30 to 40 people easily. Cycle theme based Chairs are good concept and I just love the environment and there hospitality. The Tea was really awesome taste and for the place the price was ok. Not too costly but its little expensive

Tea trails, A cafe with unique varieties of teas. With lots of options to select from their large menus, you will be confused to select the best for you... I had few of thoseChicken thai rice curry at Rs. 300 is the must try dish of them, the rich taste, flavor, ingredients making them so tasty and likable.Non Veg Extravaganza at Rs. 280, it is better than any medium chicken pizza in other outlets with lots of chicken chunks and cheese to form a thick layer over the base. It is perfect. Red velvet waffle at Rs. 260 is a pair of waffle sandwiched with vanilla ice cream. It was awesome to taste it with hot and cold combination, making it simply 😍🤤. Paneer tikka Sandwich had some saucy fried panner and capsicum stuffed with fries making it one of the economical choice to select.Tea marbled eggs infused with tea is something different to check here, tho it doesnt support the flavour much, but it is good..Tea Sangria at Rs. 170 is not best option to select, it doesnt support the flavor strongly.It has good parking space, good place for childrens and long convo. Service is slow, if it is increased you deserve a 5 star

Calm place amongst a busy road. The homely kitchen is at front, unlike the hidden kitchen at other restaurants. Yummy food and the price is wallet friendly.

This is the great place for the TEA LOVERS whos blood is mixed with the essence of tea more than RBC. The first thing i got admired from there is their Menu card, it is very handy and creative. Here they have lot of varieties of tea which are really amazing. Eventhough the order takes some time but it is worth as they do everything fresh.This place has a classic ambience which is quite different and they have some good selections of books for the coustomers to read if they wish. Overall a good place to have some nice parTEA. And also a good place for a meetup and discussions.

Its a good place primely located. If you are tea lover you would surely love this place as they serve 100+ tea varieties. Dont be decieved by their name as they have a good number of food varieties other than tea, but I feel the other food are jus ok.If they could work on their food taste and service this could be a great hangout place.

The food was really good, but the service was extremely slow (probably due to lack of people that particular day?) And the pizza was too small for the cost we paid. Dessert was really good, so was the creamy basil pesto pasta.

Had been there recently for a workshop. Its very spacious. The food is tasty and there is separate space for 12 seater to conduct workshops or even have a private party. The large space is also used for workshops and shooting.

Was so curious about this place and they havent failed.They have the best affogato - Coffee Caramel Sundae (Ice cream, Fruit bubble Floats and Caramel in a Coffee Toffee) which was Delicious and Delightful.Do try it.

This place was on my bucket list for so long .. Went on a Sunday evng ..Parking space is available to a great extent .. It is located in the complex like building which is opposite to temenos ..The ambience is so perfect for a chai lover and a book addict .. The walls were decorated with the quotes and facts about tea .,Food - Ordered pesto paneer Pizza but served with paneer tikka pizza .. The first disappointment.. The 7” ( I guess )pizza is priced at ₹225 (without taxes) .. The crust of the pizza was so thin and the paneer cooked to the perfection .. 👌Ordered Royal chai priced at ₹150 to end the day .. The chai tasted great .. but I somewhere felt the price of the chai was on the higher end ..I wanted to rate 3.5 .. since the said rating is not available, giving 3 ..This is the first restaurant with no tissue paper on the table .. The usage of tissues wen u drink tea, eat pizza n burger il b high .. I don’t know the reason behind of no tissues on the table .. even they r not providing tissues while atleast serving the food .. apologies in advance if there s a serious reason behind the same .. Best place to spend quality of time and worth what we pay

Spent an hour with a friend. Pleasant place. Ordered Ginger tea and some fries. Tea was good. Fries were a bit so-so. Lots of tiny pieces in the plate, would have expected everything to be an even sized matter. Taste was fine though. While walking over to the restroom did not like the clutter of empty n filled water bubble tops. If I was running the place, I will treat that space as a guest area and would maintain it without clutter. I was happy that the lady who took out order seemed quite knowledgeable and spoke food English. Missing this in Chennai recently with restaurants that hire folks who mostly mumble under their breath or their language is so poor that one spends time guessing what they are communicating. Final words, good place to spend some time and chat and would visit again next time.

Ok, I never tasted anything here. Yet, I choose to review because of their attitude.I was supposed to have a business meeting here and was waiting for my colleague. However, due to confidential reasons , the meeting was pushed to a different venue.By then, I had already placed my order of a green tea. Upon receiving a phone call, I had to rush. I informed the staff the same and she was reluctant, thinking it was due to the delay in their service. When I explained the actual scenario, they were very supportive of me.Even though I was ready to pay for my drink and leave, they refused it because I would not drink it anyway.*I really appreciate their conscious work in this selfish world!*

Tea Trails Cafe is a great place for tea lovers and I definitely recommend it if tea is all thats on your mind. I liked the way tea is served here and also there is a good variety of teas on offer.Everything except the tea is a bit of a let down. The food is unnecessarily pricey and the stocks are not maintained properly. Waffle with strawberry and maple syrup on the menu gets transformed to waffle with apple and honey by the time it reaches your table.Overall its a good place to spend hours with tea and worthy company.

Nice place and good food. Cheese maggi and chicken wings sets the perfect mood. The Classic Margherita Pizza, oh my god, the pizza base is so soft, its not the thin crust pizza. But the taste is too good.

As soon as you enter the cafe from the busy nungambakkam road, you feel a moment of peace. Wonderful atmosphere.The Waiter Biswa was very friendly and greeted with a smile throughout. BBQ Maggi was amazing.Great experience overall.

Service is a bit slow but the food and tea are amazing. The staff really takes care to make sure that you are satisfied. It’s the best place to meet up with friends and have peaceful conversations. There is parking in the complex too.

I went here for a Calligraphy workshop . The ambience is really cool. And the food. Too. We can host small parties and birthdays as well. The menu is good and pocket friendly. The bike Parked inside is the main attraction :p on the whole a good place 😍

Tea trails - the name is unique but not the experience. The flavor of the tea is good but not the price. If you are expecting your taste buds to be blown away then keep your fingers crossed. The ambiance is good though. Parking space is crowded during the weekends.

A very mediocre place. I have a theory that a place that tries too hard with the interiors never has good food and this was the case here. Hardly anything on the menu was available. We ordered 3 different kinds of tea, none of which we got. Our burger came with no patty and no sides. It was a painful process of constantly returning food. The opposite of a good experience, could never recommend.

Cozy and warm. Awesome service, so much so they put a smile on your face. The menu is a tea connoisseurs wet dream.

Unfortunately, the extremely lackluster, ignorant service as well as the non availability of over half the items in the menu combined to make for a terrible experience. And it didnt help that the tea that we ordered was also very mediocre. If youre looking for a place to kill a couple of hours, this is the place to go. But if you actually want good food and drink as well, it would be better to stay away.

This place has a good ambience. I ordered for a silver needle tea. The aroma was so good and it tasted like green tea. It was kind of a fruitful flavour. I really liked it.

For 100 bucks i would love to have some thing better than chain restaurants like CHAI KINGS. Atleast i get value for money. This tea was not worst but not for what they are charging.Bombay sandwich was also ok. Not bad. Ambience was good. Music was too loud. They were playing some songs. I would suggest to play soft music which adds to ambience.

The worst ever experience in this franchise outlet.No proper uniform/dress code for the staff,No proper service.The outlet was totally messed up.Garlic bread was over roasted, Kullad Chai was to accompanied with onion pakoda but we got it half an hour later until our chai was finished.The most annoying thing was a group of persons where seated on the table(even though the chairs where empty) which was not supposed to be while customers are seated. Overall 0 stars but unfortunately I had to rate it 1star

If you are a tea lover this is the place you have to be. They have many variety of tea. Pls note tea is sans milk. If you need milk with tea then you need to have malasa chai. They also serve lots of starters and main course dishes. Nice place in centre of city with good ambiance

I ordered adrak chai just now from Tea Trails Nungambakkam. This is the third time this week that I had ordered it. But this time the quantity was definitely not worth spending 80 rupees + taxes + delivery charges on. The chai cup had less than half a cup of tea in it, literally only 2-3 sips. I immediately complained to Swiggy with a photo of the cup. Swiggy wasnt helpful at all, beyond offering an apology.I feel cheated. Definitely not ordering again from this place. Disappointed.P.S.: There was no spillage. I checked the carry bag.

Had ordered 2 teas, khulad tea and tulsi tea, they took about 10 minutes to serve only tulsi tea, second tea came about 5 minutes later. i noticed a crack on the saucer they served and cleverly the crack was covered by a cookie. To my surprise even the second tea saucer was chipped badly. I requested the waiter to call a senior manager but he never bothered to call any one.Upon requesting he gave an excuse and called some other waiter. I had mentioned this to him and he just apologised and walked away and got me the bill. I left my second tea without having, paid the bill and left the place. This place is not worth the price we pay for the experience or the tea.Management to have a mechanism to check the crockery and replace them as necessary. Glass pieces are so tiny and can get mixed up with food very easily and very risky to our lives.
