True to the hygiene rating, the restaurant maintains a very good quality when it comes to cleanliness. I had stayed here for a day and a half and had the opportunity to relish on buffet lunch, dinner and breakfast.They don’t offer buffet usually as they found lot of food being wasted and hence resorted to Set Combo lunch & A-La-Carte. Today being Friendship Day, they offered buffet.All the items were prepared with great precision and care. There is nothing in excess - be it Oil or the slices. Chef Gavaskar has done an excellent job in preparing the dishes. Staffs were very well behaved and courteous.Ambiance inside the restaurant is really good. They play a mild music. They have natural lighting also coming from one end. Coupled with their own lighting, this gives a great feel.For the first time, I witnessed this restaurant having a specific menu for Japanese and yes, this is really amazing/surprising.Owing to its close proximity to places of attraction, this restaurant shouldn’t be missed, if you’re in OMR.

Nutcracker Restaurant is located in Days Hotel, Padur which is a Business Class hotel and is on OMR and quite near to Siruseri SIPCOT and is a boon to business travellers.They have a Set Lunch meal which is priced at Rs 440 for Veg and 499 for Non Veg Nett including 2 varieties of Soup and Starters, a Salad, assorted Breads with 3 varieties of Subzi, Rice, Sambar, Rasam, Curd, Poriyal and Desserts. They also have an A La Carte Japanese menu.We decided to try out the seasonal buffet which is on for the Independence Day celebrations.They served some starters both non veg and veg at the table.The Nargiisi Kofta on the bed of Makhni gravy,the Babycorn Tempura ,Chicken Drumsticks,Chettinad Paneer Rolls ,Chicken Satay were all good and pretty filling. Loved the Barbeque chicken balls which were served on skewers and the Veg Rice Croquettes.From the buffet spread I tried the Chicken Dum Briyani,Murron Urulai curry and a tasty Butter Chicken.I didnt really care much for the Crumb Fried Fish though.The Alfredo Pasta was good too.They did have a dessert spread with cakes,muffins and cookies bur I was too stuffed to indulge.The service was friendly and smooth.Its a great place to unwind and enjoy a leisurely meal

One among the best place to hang out at OMR. The ambience is so good and pleasant that it makes me to visit the place atleast once in a month. The best part is that you can get Indian, Chinese, Italian and Japanese food at this place. If you are visiting this place then dont forget to try their special #karuvepillai_prawn and #karuvepillai_fish 🖤

Good Food. Great Service. Went on a Sunday late afternoon for buffet lunch at the closing hours. Restaurant Manager Mr.Venkatesh was very courteous and ensured that food was served till 4.15 pm. Offered discount as few food items could not be replenished. But offered some additional items. Very personalised service.Worth visiting again.,😀

Good service. So many varieties due to some fest. Chilly fish cheese ball seedai mushroom are really great. Briyani was like home made and very nice. Price around 750 for adult. Worth to go.

I visited with the much hope of variety of sea foods but to be fair the choice was limited for the main course. Starters were really good though. Especially the panneer and chicken kebab
