Its a Japanese-Korean Cafe, attracted by the international tourists and the Japanese Korean residents of Chennai. This cafe serves one of the best coffees in the city. The bakery products are quite fresh and tasty. The pastries and cakes are also famous here.

The ambience is very nice. Service was decent. Good food. But expensive! Worth it though.

U pretty much get Korean snacks for lower rates . Gotta try this place if ur into kpop or kdrama.

An amazing, authentic place for Korean and Japanese food in the heart of Chennai. Guest relationship is pretty good. Wooden flooring with glass windows gives a pretty rich look. Though limitations in parking yet spacious from inside. Interiors are sober and rich in tune with colour harmony. Bakery is great and quiet appropos to the quality and quantity. A visit to the cafe definitely ignites health and taste buds.

Absolutely authentic. Tried the pork belly and sticky rice and the fried spicy pork. The meat was fresh and sauces authentic. The breads are excellent.Highly recommended for Korean cuisine.

This is the first korean bakery in Chennai. There are assorted types of Korean bread and korean food as well. It worth a try out if you want to taste Korean-style confectionery.

If there is any place in Chennai that deserves appreciation for consistently producing the best of baked goods and korean food... it has got to be Ambrosia! I wanted to buy a birthday cake this December and I went researching and hunting for the best bakeries around Chennai. I tried a few cheesecakes, even bought a loaf of bread to taste for the quality that I am familiar with. Ambrosia was by far the best! So I ordered a large birthday cake. I only wanted the best; luckily ...this bakery baked fruit cakes. Now, I am not amused by the heavy butter cream decoration cakes you normally see all over Chennai. I grew up eating original creamy black forests, fruit cakes, and danish pastries at evening parties. There is a really authentic way to bake and setup a fruit cake. This place has absolutely outdone any bakery in Chennai on the delicious and bountiful fruit cake. I want to thank the owners and staff from the bottom of my heart. I hope you all deserve the recognition you deserve! Thank you for treating Chennaities to the most delicious of baked goods. We all deserve good and authentic food!

Lovely bakery with a lot of interesting stuff.

Though Korean and Japanese speciality bakery they have a very good spread of goodies for everyone. Custard cookies, leaf bread are a must try. The chocolate Tart was smooth

My favourite bakery in all of Chennai! Their melon buns and custard cream buns are ridiculously good. Theyve got a large variety of baked goods, and the selection is a little different every day. I usually just buy to take away here, but theyve recently started a sit down restaurant in the same place, which Im looking forward to trying!

Visited shirdi saibaba temple at kaveri nagar kottivakkam.in this ganesh temple also seen.many devotees coming here and getting prasadams .All devotees are in strict discipline following.

This is a really unique bakery and (perhaps) the only cafe and bakery option with exclusively Korean and Japanese cuisine. The sitting arrangement is really nice and the ambiance is the best in Chennai.

Go here if you want to have overpriced top ramen. I have no idea why people call this authentic. Had ordered ramen and caeser salad. Never before have I had such an experience. I have no idea how they have the gall to sell top ramen as ramen noodles and that too for 400. Would not recommend at all. Cant say about the bakery part

It was a pure Japanese restaurant, I mistook that it was a cafe based on the name. We just had a machiatto and orange juice, which were very average. The service totally sucked, will so much delay in attending the customers(though the restaurant wasnt fully occupied). Maybe i made a visit in a wrong time with wrong expectation.

Excellent bakery and dessert. You will not get this from other normal bakery. Coffee and other juice are also available. Nive place. You need to manage car parking.

I have been frequenting ambrosia for a while. Earlier it was this quaint little bakery with reasonably priced unique bakery items. Of late the prices seem to have doubled

Read about this place on zomato and went there. Unfortunately, I went a bit late on Sunday evening and most of the pastries were sold out. However among what was there we tried the ham and cheese bun, almond butter bun and a chocolate bun. Everything was very good. The buns were just delicious. My only suggestions would be, maybe a little more ham in there ham and cheese bun. The cappuccino was OK. Somehow very few places in Chennai get the cappuccino right.

Bake that day and sell that day. When I chose the bread that I baked the day before, an Indian clerk told me to choose another bread because it had been baked for a long time.
