Great Experience. My son wanted a very specific Octonaut cake. It was complex to make. But the cake came out splendidly. Beyond my expectations. Highly recommended for custom cakes. Staff were helpful too.

Got a black forest birthday cake and it tasted bad. Felt like its stocked for long. Drove for few kms just to get the nice experience of Adyar bakery and got disappointed today. Requesting to maintain the same quality as before for the sake of customers and your brand value. However, the puffs were tasty and fresh.

Taste wise not bad. The Ambience is awful and no A/c, the place looks too clumsy. No option for Dine in due to COVID19 even post Covid theyre following these like they couldnt even give spoon to eat as they dont have the dine in option instead they provided me a knife for a slice of cake 🙄

The best cake 🍰 shop in Chennai. All the cake varieties, including Birthday Cake, are wonderful. Though the price is little high, its worth for the money. Very neat, clean and hygienic. Highly recommended.

It was great. The rainbow cake i had was tasty. But the coffee was not so good.

See the cheating, the japan cake i bought today in kk nagar branch. see the hole between the biscuits.I called them and they exchanged another piece. Thats also the same thing. No butter inside, only outside. Just a hole in between. Shame.

Superb Bakery, with good varieties of desserts🥧🥧🍦🍩🎂. But they dont have Dil Pasand. Food quality is Excellent and Service better also the temperature was not good in the bakery. This Bakery doesnt have much payment options.

Have been visiting Adyar Bakery right from 1970s when we moved into Adyar. Those days, its appearance and offerings were totally different. Their Bun-butter-jam, Vegetable Puff, the first ever Cone ice cream aka softie in Adyar area were all big hits. Later Aavin too started selling Cone Ice cream at a lower price. But now Adyar bakery is no more a unique place. Several clones have sprung up across TN and Karnataka. However its customer base and its offerings have both changed with time. Several branches (franchises) have come up. But, alas, the old, traditional Adyar Bakery - I miss a lot.

Once upon a time, Adyar bakery the landmark of the place turned down to be a small yet another bakery. Actually its sad to see the state of the bakery now.. previously all the items in the bakery used to be the produce of Adyar bakery, but now it became like a supermarket to house all brands of items on the rack, all items seems to be bought out. Its because people are behind global brands. Its the fate of this country

It is one of the oldest bakeries in Chennai. But it still maintains its name and standard.Its products are has its own flavour. Various types of breads, crumbs, birthday cakes etc are available.There are no holidays.Once if you start buying you will never buy your bakery products anywhere else. So try once.

This bakery was the talk of the Town some 10 years ago. Rewind back to the present, its totally the opposite.The Price has increased, the quantity has reduced and the quality has been poor. ( Most of the items.. especially the puffs)The only positive you can find in this bakery is of their Cakes. They also undertake Birthday cake orders. Its worth it.

Good quality and prompt service

This shop is here for ages now and its literally a landmark in Adyar. You get anything related to bakery items and quality is up in the top notch. Recently I could see a reduction in the space which was earlier much larger. Could be due to people who walks into store these days. Overall, a great place for your bakery stuffs.

The cakes are really good. They can get you almost any cake in the menu within half an hour or something. I havent tried much stuff other than this, but they do have a good reputation of selling really tasty stuff.

Neighborhood bakery cum cafe type of place..lots of cakes and dessert options. More buttercream than fresh cream options. Quality is fair considering that the prices are pretty low. They also not so good chaats, so-so small pizzas but decent sandwiches, juices and milkshakes and very good filter coffee. Good place to take kids. Easy to spot, Google location is exact. Limited parking space.
