Sree Gupta Bhavan - is located on the Pammal Main Road, just opposite the CSI Church, so spotting this place is a breeze. The parking lot can barely accommodate three cars at best and parking on this busy stretch will be testing. The restaurant operates on two levels. The sweet stall & the Chaat counter are on the ground floor, while the diner is on the first floor.We had only chaat along with rasamalai. The chaat corner is within the sweet stall. The place is air conditioned & hygienic. Theres also a hand wash! Skeletal seating is offered. Orders are taken at the table. Pani Puri is served in a not so spic white plastic plate here. You get six puris with aloo along with sweet & sour liquid fillings. Pav Bhajji was as expected with a few pieces of toasted paneer thrown in for Rs.95. Nothing exceptional taste wise. Prices are on the premium side & the portion sizes are standard. Rasamalai was a different ball game all together. Soft, and melt in your mouth texture without being over poweringly sweet. You get two in a small plastic container for around Rs.55. There was an alluring array of savouries on display. Also milkshakes were there on the menu. Poli which made an appearance in print, didnt in person. The shop did attract a good amount of crowd given its prime location.The sweet stall is definitely #recommended, the chaat stall may have to do a bit of catch up.

My simple request is , Kindly paste the expiry date of the sweets on the display in a visible manner , as Indian Government had said the expiry date of the sweets should be mentioned for the sweets on the display. (Rule since October 2020)

One of the best place around Pammal for family dining or with friends.Have always loved the sweets of Gupta. Ambience is lovely too!!

Restaurant has mostly the chat options in menu. Dont expect full North Indian dinner options. Also the spice level is high, so ask for less if you prefer.

Staff demanding me to speak HindiThis happened today (20 Nov 2020) I went to buy some sweets and savouries at 7.15 PM.The one who weighed my sweets and packed it, asked me where I’m from and do I know Hindi.I said I’m from Chennai and I do not know.The staff demanded that , I’m in India and I should learn and speak in Hindi.The staff is from Bihar (as he stated).Even the store manager did not give fitting reply to my concern.How a person can come into our state and dictate me to learn and speak Hindi.@sreeguptabhavan : This is the worst ever experience I had from a vendor in my lifetime.Will never support this kind of business.

All the sweets tastes very good. The people work in there are very polite and patient saying this because I bought multiple boxes of assorted items. However they may need to consider packing with of high quality/care. Because when they pack the box with laddu’s all the pieces where broken miserably. Overall good in taste and handling customers with utmost patience.

Food quality not that much when compare to the price, slow response and have to improve in service, food taste not good enough. I stopped visiting this shop any more. There are some good shop available with reasonable price and quality is also good. Hope theyll look into comment and fix it.

Please dont buy anything from this shop ...i found big tile stone in one of the food product .worst they dont care since all are buying blindly they are selling items .please be careful while you eat even from branded shop like this .worst

Good place to have authentic chaat items, theres dining area at level 2.All of chaat items are tasty & good.They have maintained place very well, hygeine is maintained.Attracts lot of decent & trendy crowd.Good place to have a quick bite, table service available.Parking could be a problem outside so that has to be taken into account.Worth trying.

Very good place for veggie food

Good place to have veg food with family. But the delivery was too slow. They are taking so much time to prepare the food also if we have given orders as a whole then they are preparing everything as a whole and bringing to the table. Due to which the food cooked first is getting cold and was not able to eat with delite.. better to order 2 or 3 items at a time.

Literally all dishes floating in oil. Ordered Schezwan noodles, got plain noodles added with pepper. Dont know in which country it is called Schezwan. The waiter and so called manager are literally dumb fellow. Even after complaining, no response from them. Asked them to have their dinner at home
