Worst experience with this hospital. Its best only for out-patients.the hospital is not very clean. Staffs are not responding properly. The rooms are very very small. Cost is very high. Trust worthy, reliable and not money minded people. All the staffs are very kind and helpful. The cost is also comparatively cheaper than other hospitals. They will not unnecessarily compel for admission or make the patient panic. Good hospital with service minded staff thanks to the management.

I have a very very very worst experience in this hospital. I have admitted my mother in that hospital for nasal block surgery. After the surgery they transferred to the ward and there was a hole in that room. Without asking our permission the hospital management sent one person to cover that hole. That guy had been drilling in that ward. See, the patient was surgeried in nose and the doctor advised not to be there in the place of dust. But this fellow is putting drill there to cover that hole. Without transferring the patient to some other room they are doing this horroable things. the service of nurses, staff and servants are very bad . They are insulting us by words and hurting us. Full of money minded persons they are. I will give no star rating to this type of fellow hospital. Really very bad experinence we got in that hospital. I had been hurt by the way they treat us and the words they spoke.

I had an awfully bad experience at this hospital. I took my mother to hospital as she fell down and her left hand was injured, after taking X-Ray at the hospital doctor suggested for surgery but we are not willing for that, and we gave that in written that we are not willing for surgery and we just told them to put POP. Later after 15 days again we visited the hospital but Dr.Mr.Manivannan(Ortho) asked why are you again and again coming here you should not come here. This is not right way to treat the patient, we have given in writing that we are not willing for surgery, they are simply money minded after the Covid-19, before that it was good hospital were, we suggested many people. Because of this kind of person, the hospital is losing its dignity and name. Such people do not deserve to be doctor. Doctors are said to be with humanity and compassion.

This place has lost its reputation the moment they decided to expand their infrastructure, coz the way they started giving the treatments , the level of care to the patients has all been drastically changed to the worst

I met with an bike accident on thursday (29/04/21) n my left hand elbow fractured badly. We went to COSH for treatment and they suggested for surgery. My heartfelt thanks to dr.Srinivasan n Thangam mam and rest of them for the wonderful treatment. The service they did was amazing. They explained each n everything very nicely.Dr. Srinivasan is an excellent surgeon and the other staff were really kind n helpful throughout my surgery.My surgery went well and I really appreciate their service. I got discharged in 2 days after the surgery. Mainly the hospital expense also reasonable and I highly recommend this hospital to anyone in need.

Recently I had an appointment with Dr.Christudas and had an injection from him.When my mom asked the details of the injection, he said that her work is just to cook and not to ask questions.Surprised to see a doctor speaking like an illiterate from village side!!Dr.Christudas.. male dominancy is over when you are in your child age itself. So try to cope up with the current age.

Went for ankle ligament injury. On seeing me struggling to enter the hospital, the attender brought the wheel chair to the entrance immediatelyand he was there till the entire process was completed. Dr Ananathakumar took X-ray and provided pain killer for 3 days. He also prescribed ankle support for 3 weeks. It’s been one week since I got this injury. Feeling better now. Overall happy with the treatment. Hospital bill also not expensive.Update - Jan 17thWent for physiotherapy for 6 days. Staffs were super friendly and did a great job.

Time and again, touched by their humanity. Dr. Sudhan says I want to give back to my neighborhood and he keeps his word.1. The doctors there dont make you feel scared. They make everything sound really simple.2. My father took a full body health check-up independently from a lab and took reports to COSH. As they found all values normal, they returned the fees.3. My grandfather is bedridden and we had to shift him from one room to another. The cosh attendants came, helped and were not ready to take any money even if we insisted.And the list keeps going.You feel their care. Happy to have such care in my neighborhood.

Christudas Orthopaedic Speciality Hospital popularly known as COSH Hospital is at Duraiswamy Nagar, IAF Road, East Tambaram. It is a multi speciality hospital giving care to patients of diabetes, psychiatry, paediatrics, neuro, ent, cardiology, orthopaedics etc.Founder Dr. Christudas and Director Dr. Sudan Christudas recently received Achiever- Established Hospitals and Achiever- Rising Star respectively from Dr. C. Viyayabaskar, Honourable Tamilnadu Minister for Health and Family welfare.I went there on 16 th February 2020 for my wifes ortho compliant of Shoulder pain. Normal waiting time for consultation of say 30 to 45 mintues. She was diagnosed, given pills and advised Physiotherapy. There is a Pharmacy within the hospital.The Physiotherapy unit is well maintained. The Physiotherapist, if necessary do give home care. Charges are normal and treatment effective. My experience with the hospital is limited as explained above and it is OK for me.

All the reception staffs and nurses were too friendly. Within two days my health was completely back to normal. Good treatment with reasonable cost. And there were few disturbances while discussing with doctor about our health issues. One lady came and she asked about some forms. This should be avoided. Same thing happened on my multiple visits to cosh. Rest everything fine.

I have been here only for Full medical check-up and surely not worth it. I havent availed other services so cant comment on that but can give an detailed idea of doing master health check up here.Very unprofessional and money minded and no care for patients. This is not an proper hospital to do master health check up as after all the test has been taken we have to see the doctor right, but here the doctor will be available only in the evening, so you have to wait from morning 8 AM to 5 PM to meet the doctor for consultation which is included in the package. No this is not a joke, they are very pathetic here. They provided a room to stay but we denied it as were not aware if they are gonna charge and our home was 5 km away so we wanted to return later. I dont know what other people will do. This should have been mentioned while asking questions over the phone.They charge us the same amount big corporate hospitals charge but service is not so professional. If you have any idea of taking master health check up please drop that idea. Not worth the money.

I went for back pain. Reception staff had me register my details and informed about the waiting time. Just right within mentioned time, Ortho specialist Ananthakumar attended me. He listened to my problems well, checked me completely and informed its just a bone stress in the back due to continuous work. Recommended to take a couple of tabs, ointment and 4 days of physiotherapy. The consultation fees is very less(varies depending on doc you visit) and one time physiotherapy is just 150INR. Hospital environment is good and Im happy that they are not making patients panic with unwanted tests. Overall very food experience during my first visit.

I would highly recommend for orthopaedic. My 5th metatarsal bone fractured on 19.4.2019.Dr.Sudhan took care of me.Adorable nurses and attendants .i was on pop for 21days.11.5.2019 pop was removed and i was given physiotherapy for 3 days.on first itself i started to walk without any support. Very nominal fees.only first day they charged rs 150 for consultation. After that no fees expect fee rs 100 for physiotherapy .

Wait time is too long. Registration itself took 45 mins and post that it was 2 hours wait to see Ortho doctor in OPD. Promptly got advise for X-Ray and again wait for reviewing the X-Ray. Overall 4 hours for OPD is too long.I used to recommend my friends for COSH, now its time to look for alternative.

Best hospital in the area. The doctors care during emergency is top notch. The doctors take their time to explain it to you as to what the problem is and the treatments going on. The nurses are caring and patient. Cleanly maintained hospital.

Though the doctors give proper treatment hospital charges unneunneces things if your bill is covered by insurance like charging doubled room rent (I stayed in 1500rs room but was charged 3000rs per day) and they even didnt provide food for patient.. Pathetic... Money minded management...

I went for master health check up ! Never ever come here ! Very bad experience , maintenance is very poor . I would never suggest this hospital Patients who come would definitely get a new disease , zero cleanliness & nurses are not properly trained . Waiting time is so long , it took nearly more than 1:30 hours extra time for the check up to finish. They certainly forgot the patients who come for general check up . Nurses don’t treat their patients in a good way . And about the rooms , and that’s a total zero ! Doctors are fine though ! But cleanliness maintenance and everything is all zero !

When someone known person is working there then your treatment will be best.

Wait time is more . We came during week days still we are waiting . No appointment or token system which is really sad. We have to wait without any clues . Nurses do not give proper information about how long we should wait. They take payment as soon as you come so that you dont leave the hospital bored up with huge wait time. I write this review during the wait time, its been one hour now and we still have no clues about how long to waitEdit : treatment wise it is good. Even the physio therapy was also good. The cost of the treatment is also less than other hospitals. The only problem is the wait time.

Kind of scary experience for me,especially old people...good treatment given for young people,sports injuries. I went for a small wrist strain due to small luggage lifting during travel. No fracture and no swelling in the hand. But they unnecessarily took x-rays and finally told no fracture. If no swelling in the hand then definitely there is no fracture which will be known by any common man but the MBBS professional doesnt understand and took X rays . Also they suggested wrist band which is unnecessary for the small issue. We should think off to take necessary actions on these kind of professionals and to create a service minded people atleast for next generation...

My dad got admitted for hip bone surgery which went on well but Due to ignorance of Docs n Nursesbedsores were ignored from day one which lead my dad to Urosepsis which led him to his death. We were not given proper information time to time.Everytime they said everything is fine but that there is age factor also .Trying to blame my Dad saying his panic is creating more health issues.where as he went through pain all the timeNEVER EVER GO TO COSH HOSPITAL IF U LOVE N CARE FOR YOUR PARENTS OR RELATIVES.

* All are inexperienced doctors/freshers. They dont know what they are doing.* Poor nursing. Nurses are not able to patch for my ECG test. Struggling and no one knows what they are doing.* For no reason they asked us to admit as in patient. They do all unnecessary test to pull all your money from your Wallet.* We are struggling to get discharged from the hospital and formalities took whole day from 10.00 AM to 5.00 PM.* This is not a hospital but parasite.

The dentist Dr. Karthick is the only doc Ive gone to and he is really good. Takes the time and trouble to answer all the patients queries and is very professional. Will definitely go there for all my dental problems Oh and they take Religare card which is the only hospital that does in the vicinity.On the other hand please do not ever go there if you are having emergency pain. Before you know it they will admit you and the surgeon will come to visit and recommend you to chop off the offending body part - irrespective of whether hes confirmed the source of the pain.I went there for gastric pain and the surgeon recommended I chop off my gall bladder as in the report I mentioned I had stones a while ago.

I visited the hospital with my wife. It took around 30 minutes in the registration counter. Not sure about the reason but it is not acceptable time line for the processs of registration. Hope the management @COSH understand and find some process to improve.

OP doctor is not checking as much. As I fall in road due potholes as it was covered by rainwater . My right leg thumb has a deep cut so OP doctor told me to take Xray. After taking Xray she told no problem and stitched it. And I left my hometown. Even after 15 days fungus was around my leg and pain was there. As my colleagues suggested me to take an another Xray. After taking Xray there was stone inside my leg. Definite it is Carelessness.....

As per my experience, would not recommend this hospital to anyone. I went here recently for getting treated for my Leg injury. They took X-ray for check-up which is fine but the treatment which they suggested found to be unnecessary while further checking.

One of the worst hospitals I could say. Doctors are irresponsible. They are not lending their ears to the patients problem. Just predicting something and treating to bring a very lengthy bill. For whatever the health issue, they will make you admitted and take all the unnecessary tests. They are just creating patients not curing. My suggestion is please dont go here even at worst situations.

I am sorry to write this review . But the way we were handled at the reception was pathetic . We were informed that the chief doctor would be available till 11:30 am on sunday . When we went there by 11:10 am , we were informed that the doctor was not available . And the reception was giving some lame excuses . What is this ? I am seriously considering whether to come to this hospital again .

But, the patient got bed sores within 9 days and it was also not treated by the hospital and the patient was sent home. within 2 weeks the bedsores had affected her blood and she was in very serious condition. We took her to Annai Arul hospital and was recovered. we spent almost 4 lakhs including surgery. Just because of careless treatment of COSH hospital.NEVER GO TO THIS HOSPITAL PLEASE !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

My father has recently visited hospital with having pus coming out from bump on his back. But doctor told him to get X-ray and told him that pain he is having is because of skin growth between bones and gave wrong medicine and treatment. Not sure from which college he studied MBBS and what kind of practise he is doing that with naked eyes he is not able to differentiate. It was horrible experience Dr. Manivannan.

Dr.Sudhan wont speak at all.Will not explain the criticality of the fracture.Got a minor fracture in the little figure since proper treatment was not given on right time complete cure was not happened.But physiotherapy is alone very very good.People are more friendly in that work space alone.

The worst ever hospital I have ever seen in my lifetime..please my kind advice that not to go this hospital ..Only for taking money from people they are running this hospital. Poor treatment, they will be doing All the testes which are not necessary for patients, simply for money they are playing like this.one thing that they are not able to identify that what is the cause for disease. Simply they will do all tests and they will say everything is normal.for blood test they are charging 6k.for what purpose your doing if we asked they will tell the stories this that...i admitted my grand father (knee and joint pains) and for one day he was there in ICU.next day also no changes from him..dont know what treatment they gave.simply they will be giving the medical descriptions and all those nonsenece tests,we need to pay amount and there wont be any changes in patient. Finally they told this may cause due to some cardiac attack. So you need to shift him to some other hospital and a that time itself I got to know that they are not aware of what is the patient present suituation they gave one transfer receipt with patient has some cardiac problem need to do angeogram ,later I shifted to Kauvery hospital and in that hospital they told like no cardiac issues ,he is absolutely fine and proper treatment given from there...this is COSHhospital treatment ..At that stage I decided ,at any cause never ever visit this hospital again in my life .And one more main thing people while In final discharge bill summary also fraud, I was very much shocked after seeing that Bill.dont know why they charged that much .And onething there are many mismatches in Bill extra 5k they have added ,which I have already paid and I have receipt as well.later i shown that bill again they are giving new bill.what is this kind of attitude ,they dont have proper computerised bill as well. My kind advise please dont take any risk with your life.
