The brief to PSP Design was to re -construct a building with dual purpose - one that would offer the utility of commercial spaces on the lower levels, combined with the privacy of a residential apartment on the topmost floor.This meant constructing a replica of a 70 year old traditional space above a modern commercial office, without a clash of styles. It’s no easy task to re use all existing doors and windows - curvatures were meticulously measured so also positions of doors, windows and all else, at the same time adjusting with accuracy to the demands of new needs of Vastu compliance.Over and above it all, it had to meet the energy efficiency requirements of the Gold LEED certification too.From start to finish, Ajay Sethi and Sunil Philip of PSP Design supervised everything with unparalleled dedication and professionalism which has resulted in architectural excellence. An extremely unprofessional and unreliable team who lack basic technical design skills - what many would call common sense. Their intellectual contribution is close to zilch and Im not sure what else Im paying them for. I would much rather get my work done with a firm that caters to the masses and are on point in terms of practicalities.I wouldnt trust a premium architecture firm again.
