Gave Canon 70-200mm IS I lens for serviceCompletely messed up the lens. Gave it for autofocus issue, they were not able to fix which is fine but when they returned the image stabilization did not work and manual focus had issue. The lens was completely messed up. Not sure if any part was swindled or someone who doesnt know opened the lens. When enquired said they dont service themselves but give it to someone in Richie street. Was totally unhappy, wont recommend giving cameras or lenses for service here. Gave it here only because it was near my home and Google reviews were good. Now I realized the reviews are for the products they sell and not for camera/lens repair. Worst repair skills and bad customer service.@CameraNeeds: Nobody is asking you to sort it out. The lens was never opened before I gave it to you. I went to Canon service, they said IS 1 they dont support so I came directly to you. And you never mentioned anything clearly. For your information, I gave it to another service center after you messed up and they found the issue about auto-focus, corrected the IS issue for now. Your technician and you did not even know what the issue was, which again is fine but to mess up IS and even manual focus had issue after you opened is unacceptable. 70-200 is not a toy it is a 80k lens. The fact that I did not bother you after you messed up is something you should be thankful. My advice, pls tell upfront if you are not able to service and give the lens back in the condition you got it from customer. Dont try to defend with false statements. You wont gain customers with such strategy.

Actually I went for servicing my camera but service persons was not available due to Corona. But sebastian checked the condition of my old D5100 Nikon as it was not so bad so he dusted the camera with brush n did cleaning free of cost. I got necessary accessories . Next week and i went back to shop n bought 35mm lens for 12.5k which is 4k less compared to Amazon.

Atleast my experience with camera needs is really bad. I gave my Sony camera DSCRX100 to service. They claim that the camera has been fixed and charged 3k. The camera has become literally unusable. I just wasted my money. Should have gone to a Sony authorised centre. May be good for camera purchase; not for servicing at all!! High rating is really deceiving.
