This is my walking place.nicely maintain by chennai corporation.one small artficial water falls worth to take photo. There is play place with swings sea saw and some more.idial to bring small children no traffic dangers.

Very nice place for all. From children to senior citizens can spend their time usefully there. Walking and simple exercises for all ages can do in this park. Corporation maintain well but proper protection will be given to the watch man family.

Very neatly maintained park with lots of plants in the middle of the park. Would recommend to those prefer walking. Has got benches placed all around the park where one can sit with friends and chat for a long time. Not a very big park but a decent quiet place to relax. A small play area available for kids with swings. See Saw is damaged and cannot be used. Basic exercise equipments are placed. Instrumental music is played here which is very pleasing to hear. Can have a better view of the metro trains sitting inside the park.

Free air, 8 walking,acupuncture, leg and hand exercise instrument,twister.There is a long place to walk.There are so many trees so we inhale oxygen.

Well maintained park for kids and family... exercising tools for senior citizens... awesome gardening... wash rooms for ladies and gents.... benches to rest after exercise... except the maintenance of the washroom / toilet ... Its a very nice place to spend time with family / senior citizens and kids... to the management .... please maintain the washroom reasonably...

Small park a bit crowded in morning, has about 50 meter walking trail, nice twister, hand rotator etc . Clean and well maintained.

Located at a convenient location in Ashok Nagar, Chennai. Nearby is Ashok Pillar. Well maintained park. Good walking place and children play area.

They get the 3 star rating just for being there. I am very thankful for both Stalin and Mayor Subramanian, who were key drivers behind all the parks which are there in the city. Very very surprisingly, the parks which they installed during their time are being maintained even today. It is really surprising to the ordinary citizen. One would expect that reports would be made of maintenance expenses, but the money would go into the pockets of people in whatever sharing ratio they use.It might be happening, but still the parks are maintained for the people to use.The Ashok nagar park needs to go a long way in maintenance. The waterfall is not working. The grass is not cut. The grass in some parts are becoming dried up.The benches are mostly occupied by young people who carry on romance. Walkers need to wait for a bench to become empty so that we can rest after finishing the walk.

Good for morning walk, small circle of less than 200 mts with all physical exercise equipments.

Encroachments by bull trainers below metro rail track, adjoining the park gives bad smell. This needs to be cleared. Park is well maintained with decent visitors.

It is an good park...lot of childrens will play there.. there will be some exercise equipments and there is stone walking path...it has an lot of trees and plants and flowers ...and there is an walking group of young and old peoples there in the morning and in the evenings..

Its a small park abutting 100 main road. Bus well maintained. However being surrounded by traffic on main road, air pollution and noice pollution is plenty. No parking place for cars. Morning hours visit is only advisable.

It is located in very busiest place in Chennai but after enters into there you may feel the silence. Good ambience to relaxing and walking.

One of the very few parks in Chennai. This park has a walking track; is crowded during the mornings; very crowded during the evenings; has a decent parking space and a few exercise equipment. The park also has some ayurvedic and Siddha medicinal plants which are labelled for the convenience of those interested. However, I do not think they are available for public use. It is situated right on the Jawaharlal Nehru road near a traffic signal - hence, it is noisy and polluted. The corporation should build more parks for the use of the public.

Nice park with water falls and Deers, and crane statues enough walking space, and lots of useful plants.. But children playing things very less, and water fall never works in atleast 25days in month.. Nice place to walk and do some basic exercise kit.

This park is located immuned to all polution levels of atmosphere, say trafic sound and dust. Not suitable for elders to rest.

Few years back opened park,well maintained,can good for walking...planted medicinal value which is good for breathing..

After the reconstruction by CMRL this park is good now. However this was originally encroached upon and a bar was being run illegally. Thanks to the efforts of the Ashok Nagar Citizens Council and Mr. V. Ravichandran of Citizens Guardians, this park was thrown open for public until CMRL used it as a construction depot.
