Well maintained park. Good for walking. Has play area for kids, work out, yoga platform. Closes at 8:30 pm. Please offer some money to the watchman. He is a old person and works hard. The see-saw is broken and not repaired for ages. This was an empty ground before 20 years with large trees and those trees are still intact. Centre stage has fans with seats for people to sit and chat. Not recommended for privacy of lovers. Adequate parking space around the park. Has restrooms for men and women.

Children would love to play in Play Area.Parking two wheelers is around the Park.A few four wheelers can also be freely parked. The well grown trees are a boon to birds. It is a public park of the Corporation of Chennai. Strangely it is open to the public only for few hours in the morning and evening and remains locked during the remaining period.Another annoying feature is the maintenance staff sweeping the walkways while the park is open to the public, forcing the visitors to inhale the dust-laden air, which certainly is not a healthy way to get fresh air in open space.

This review is not for how it looks now but how it looked long before. Spent my childhood here, this was mainly a play ground with rusty see-saw, broken building and stone made ever-hot slide, but what fun we had, doesn’t have words to describe.
