For a long stay for North Indians away from home this is a nice homely place. This isnt a five star hotel, just a guest house. But it is very good. The food is slightly pricey but all north Indian items are available in the resturaunt. If you are coming to Chennai for a long stay, this is the place you should consider.
Enjoy visiting the Bengali Assoc during Durga Festival at Giri Road every year for the last 8 years. Everyone is so friendly and welcoming and the atmosphere is full of joy. In laymans terms its like Ma is in town for the week and she calls her children to her for one big week long party during which she catches up on whats been going on in your life for the last year
Located on Giri road, T.Nagar, it is a multi purpose hall. Limited parking space available in the ground floor
Nostalgia. Fellowship. Warm Heartedness. Equal opportunity. Love n Affection. Missing our extended family which will always remain ..
Good place to stay.. 900 rupees for AC attached bath room and 600 for AC rooms with common bathroom. Foods are authentic bengali but price is on the upper side.. 15 Rs per Chapatti..
Cheap and good neat and clean for families is good and near by t Nagar,Tea coffe breakfast all available near by
Nice place to organize events. Has 400 seater AC Hall too
Its a place where you get your own kinds.
Very good place to celebrate family functions. Spacious.
Visited during Durga Puja and Had a very unpleasant experience. A lady who I suppose would be part of the Association behaved as if it is her house and we had intruded. Better not to be associated with this kind of an association.
Good place
Best place for classical ans music related shows...😇
1) It is in 29, Giri Road, T Nagar, Chennai...2) The Association runs a guest house named Kshana Neer with canteen facility named Ahaar mainly to cater authentic Bengali food at very nominal cost to people coming to Chennai from various parts of the country for medical treatment, education etc......3) The Bengal Association celebrates various religious occasions like the Durga Puja, Lakshmi Puja and Kali Puja wherein Mahabhog (Free lunch & dinner) is organized in our Association for about 10000 people.4) The Bengal Association has been running a school by the name Kalyani Kumarmangalam Nursery & Primary School to provide quality education to the economically weaker sections in the local area. It is purely English medium school from pre KG to 5th STD and follows Matriculation Board syllabus prescribed by the Govt of Tamil Nadu.
Wonderful place for us Bengalis.. Got a real feeling of Durga Puja of Bengal... They are very friendly and the atmosphere is extremely homely... Bengalis living in Chennai must visit here during Durga Puja... The bhog was also awsm ❤️ Many functions and competitions are also organised during navami...

A place to rejuvenate the Bengali Culture within us. All the events are outstanding and social activities as well.
A place for Bong community in T Nagar and nearby areas
Very nice place
Decent place and centrally located. We can organise small function with around 100 people. It has an auditorium. karate classes are also conducted. Bengalies celebrate Durga Pooja gradually during dashera festival.
Lovely people, lovely arrangements of durga puja...lovely decorum...Bengalis would love this place
Nice food
Accomodation at a reasonable cost is available here. Nice place to hangout during the puja
The place is somewhat okay to organize events like dussehra and is on the road side. There is a problem of parking specially in occasions like Dussehra and kali puja.
Crowded during pujo. But good for the vibes and food. The Besant nagar pujo is a little more spread and better managed.
Association of Bengali people living in Chennai.Nice place to visit during Durga Puja or any any other Bengali occasion. We Bengalis feel home, away from home.
Nolen gur rasgulla at the exhibition was a new one, tasted SO good
The People of the Association are not helpful and they do not behave in the right manner with other people .They give preference only to the Bengali and not other caste .They have forgotten the basic manners to talk to the people over the phone. I had very very bad experience. The Trustee Moloy need the basic communication training .God should help me and how he has been selected as trustee. This show that only money matter and not human
Best Puja association in Chennai....same as Kolkata
Value for money and compact
Very much homely, accommodation very much comfortable , competitive rates , lunch dinners etc are tasty . Behaviors are fully respectable to the customers .
Perfect place for Bengalis who have migrated to Chennai ! Nice Auditorium and warm people !
Neatly maintenance insecure for all
Very good performance on Mahalaya. The act was neatly curated and executed

I have been visiting this association for many long years and everytime there is something new... Faces, member list, the youngster grown... The oldsters more polished and enthusiastic as earlier.
Great enjoyable place. Its mini bengal.
Visited this place for Durga Pooja 2019 had a wonderful experience
This is a peaceful inexpensive place to stay. Water is main problem as in most of the places in Chennai. Good Bengali cuisine is available here.
Nice place to visit specially if you are a bong.
The place was well decorated because of the event. Band performance was awesome and food okay.
Whenever I go this place it reminds me of my childhood days spent in Kolkata, lot of Bengali comes and mood is festive , u can try all Bengali food in one place during the festival in stall
Had the honor to attend Saraswati Puja last month in TBA. Felt like home, really loved it.
The best place for Bengali people in Chennai.I strongly feel all should become members to have an enriching experience.Throughout the year there are multiple cultural activities, pujo and other Addas.I am happy to be a proud member!
As a Bengali staying outside from home this is the place where I can feel that am staying in my native place.specially on Bengali occasion time like Durga & kali puja the ambiance was so good.
Durga puja in chennai
Congested location. Could do with some improvement.
Its good but still need to some improvement as AC of room No 7 in which I was , is not in good condition and I was getting Heavily sound. 2nd pl improve catering facily as rate is dam high only rice Daal & vegetables cost you are charging 110/ its not affordable .Tea is not available pl n canteen. Most of people who occupied rooms are North Indians even other then Bengalis are also coming there.
Once I visited to this place during Durga Pooja, it was well maintained and clean.
Ideal place for Bengali people in Chennai. All festivals are celebrate.
Its kind of a community Hall famous for organizing Bengali festivals, mainly Durga Puja. And being a Bengali, experiencing such a lively and lovely atmosphere there in the heart of the city of Chennai which is oblivious to the extravaganza that takes over West Bengal, was really relishing. And since its quite long standing, expect a huge crowd if you are visiting during Durga Pujas. Also many food stalls are set up during the festival.
Age old cultural association for Bangla culture in Chennai. With its own school, extra curricular activities and appreciable infrastructure for lodging, boarding and cultural activities, and annual Durga puja festivities (with worthlessly expensive food stalls), its where any Bangla lover or bangali would like to be seen.
Durga Puja days are great. Food is tasty. Car park is a issue during festival days.
