Railway station which is good and clean.Travelling
Great place with Good connectivity nd ambience.
St Thomas mount is a main.connecting place between Heart of Chennai and its outskirts it has got . Suburban railway station Metro rail and bus stand all situated adjacently. Because of development of St.Thomas Mount many places like Velachery Madipakkam Nanganallur Medavakkam Nanmanagalam all have developed. St.Thomas Mount is a historical place with scenic beauty. Schools are taking school children for excursion. Famouis.chircjes, Officers Training Academy, National Sorting Hub for speed post which is working 24 hours on all days. It is a real boon for many to send letters, parcels which reaches the destination fast.St.Thomas Mount is a must visit place in Chennai for foreigners and those who are living in Chennai, Tamil Nadu and people who visit Chennai from other states of India.
Easy accessibility transportation to any place. Can avail local train, metro train, buses etc
Nice Metro station with connectivity to Chennai Central. Nearby sub urban station also available for connectivity to Thambaram and chengalpet.
Approach to Suburban station is narrow. You cant enter directly to rly stn. Either you have use overbridge or subway. During rainy season is very horrible. But Mount metro station super. Approach and neatness etc.
The biggest metro station currently in operation. The biggest USP is that it easily accessible by 5minute walk from St. Thomas sub urban train station. Can travel to koyambedu directly & other blue routes by changing train at Alandur station. Construction work is still ongoing. Station dont look so tidy overall.
Oldest village of chennai
Koyambedu Metro station is a Metro railway station on the Line 2 of the Chennai Metro, which is one terminal of the current open metro line from Alandur. The station is among the elevated stations coming up along corridor II of the Chennai Metro, Chennai Central–St. Thomas Mount stretch. The station will serve the neighbourhoods ofKoyambedu, Koyambedu vegetable market, and Koyambedu Private Bus Terminus.
Customer service is poor. When I top up my travel card they dnt issue receipt, when asked they were out of paper to take p/o. My amount also dnt get loaded in my card. When asked they were just giving some other reasons. They cheated.
There are two services of train transport Im St. THOMAS MOUNT railway station. One is the metro station , which has closed car and two wheeler parking with wheel chair friendly entrance. While the older train service station, doesnt offer wheel chair friendly entrance.
Good maintenance
Very nice place.
Nice railway station
Good connectivity between local emu and metro. Metro Station maintained neatly. Lifts and escalator available in the Metro Station. Very frequently trains are operated. From top of the platform viewing city awesome experience
Neat
The entrance is very poor.....needs improvement
Good place. Cleanliness is maintained well. Both the evm machines are not working now. If it works, we can easily take tickets without standing in long queues. In Sundays, the queue will be very long. In counters they sometimes speak roughly for correct change.
Good present
Nice place. Very open space. People can go for walking here. Peace of mind. Kids come and play here in the evening time.
Good connectivity between EMU and Metro. This stretch between St. Thomas Mount and CMBT, at this hour requires more patronage. At least I need not have to sweat through congested road traffic.
Very good guidance. staffs are really very user friendly. Super service they are providing.I will give you 100 🌟
Clean and Tidy station, Quick and crowd free.Rates are quiet expensive. This station connects Metro and local Suburban trains. Quick transit between Metro and EMU trains
Good passenger service... The person. In tha counter was genuine and kind to the passengers.... The place was not that much clean but it gives good information about the train departures and arrivals... A good place to book our tatkal tickets here...

It serves the neighbourhood of St. Thomas Mount and Pazhavanthangal, which are suburbs of Chennai. It is located at a distance of 17 km (11 mi) from Chennai Beach terminus, with an elevation of 11 m (36 ft) above sea level.St. Thomas Mount Metro station is a Metro-cum-MRTS railway station on the Green Lineof the Chennai Metro. The station is an elevated station abutting the surface-level St. Thomas Mount suburban station of the Chennai Suburban Railway Network. The metro level of the station started functioning on 14 October 2016 while the MRTS level is under construction. The new terminal is envisaged as an integrated railway station for all the three modes of rail transport in the city, namely, Chennai Beach—Chengalpattu section of the Chennai Suburban Railway, terminal point of Chennai Beach—St. Thomas Mount MRTS, and Chennai Central–St. Thomas Mount Metro Rail. The station lies in the Chennai Beach–Tambaram section of the Chennai Suburban Railway Network, the first suburban section of the city. With the completion of track-lying work in March 1931, which began in 1928, the suburban services were started on 11 May 1931 between Beach and Tambaram, and was electrified on 15 November 1931, with the first MG EMU services running on 1.5 kV DC.The section was converted to 25 kV AC traction on 15 January 1967.As of 2012, an integrated terminal for Chennai Metro and MRTS is under construction at the station complex at a cost of ₹ 780 million. The ₹ 780-million contract for the construction of the station was initially awarded to Consolidated Construction Consortium Limited (CCCL). However, owing to delay the contract was terminated and is being given to a new contractor. With the first service of Chennai Metro between Koyambedu and Alandur opened for public use - on 29 June 2015 - the Chennai Metro Rail Limited (CMRL) has now shifted the focus on laying the track up to St. Thomas Mount.
The food is good but the serving time is too long and space is also very less
Has two ticket counters. The subway is dark and narrow. The staircase are a bit narrow and old but importantly the station is accessible easily from the interior residential areas.
Nice clean station. If you are travelling in a Tambaram bound then dont worry t half the population will get down in this station. With the introduction of metro and MTRS the intensity of the station will surely increase.
Worst behaviour for station TC FOR Passenger roudly handling ...... using .words are irrespectful........pls change another TC For railway station....worst worst worst today i am highly depressed for OUR STATION TC

Connecting station for Tambaram commuters to take the MetroThe Metro and Local train stations are well connected . If the local station foot over Bridge has a ramp or escalator it would be much beneficialThe station is clean and well maintained with courteous staffs
Good connectivity between local train and metro station.....Fans at station platform are not working properly..... Famous Sukkubhai Briyani is nearby the station....cleaned daily but some idiots are spoiling it by littering of wastes and spitting of pan masala...

ST THOMAS MOUNT RAILWAY STATION is Medium and old railway station but a lot of improvement is required in the maintainance and WIFI Facility is not there... it has been dirty on tracks sometime... still a nice place
Important Station in Beach-Tambaram Suburban System. Starting Point for Metro Train (Green Line) from St. Thomas Mount to Nehru Park and shortly service to be extended to Central Metro Interchange. Start point for MRTS from St.Thomas Mount to Chennai Beach (Final Stage from Vekachery to St. Thomas Mount delayed due to Litigation related to Acquisition of land)Platforms are maintained Neatly. Water Vending Machines and Refreshment Stall are there.Minus point is the Subway from the Station along the Sub Way. It is too narrow and congested during Peak hours. Water always found leaking making the place so untidy. Needs Repairs.
The place which see higher train accident in short time. Be safe in train journey.
A very decent station... A clean station.... Usually many people board train over here... People who stay in adambakkam and Thomas mount usually prefer this station for going to their workplace... It has a metro station attached to it which has koyambedu, shenay nagar as some of its destinations...Also Restrooms are available here... Thomas mount is the last and the first station for arrival and departure....
As usual something which everybody wants from every railway station - cleanliness.walls need to be painted for maintenance purposes.
Good
Alight here to go to annanagar or koyamded bus stand...chennai metro service is available from St Thomas Mount Metro station
