Nicely maintained State govt run Olympic size swimming pool. Depth 7 only. One can even come on a daily basis with the minimal guest charges of ₹100.

It is a 50 m swimming pool and regular training for athletes is conducted here. The complex also houses badminton courts and a gymnasium. Very nice and resourceful place for sports enthusiasts.

Good facilities. Not top class, but very well maintained by Sports development authority of Tamilnadu (SDAT), considering the number of people using it. The toilets and changing rooms are good, the cleaning staff really make an effort to keep it clean and dry even in the peak hours of usage.

Best place to swim as part of a workout. Has 50m lanes, 8 in number. Can be used for training by professional swimmers as well. Water is maintained clean all the time. Can go for a run around the pool. They offer classes for beginners as well as advanced swimmers. Membership fees are very nominal, especially if you decide to go for more than a month. Even the visitors fee of 100rs is very cheap compared to other pools. They also have stands where you can do a stair climb workout, as well as a badminton court and gymnastics arena to train. Trainers are very professional and offer high quality training. Changing rooms and toilets are clean as well. They even sell goggles and caps at very cheap rates if you dont have one. Overall a top notch place for swimming

It is good place to learn swimming. Though you will have a feel that it is crowded, you will have value for your money, time and energy spent on the aquatic complex.Good trainers are there to teach swimming. Affordable fee, I suppose. Water quality is quite okay. Hygiene of the water pools are well within tolerable limits. One should be happy to know that it is functioning and within ones reach.

Best place to learn Swimming for Kids & adults. Santhanam master is best of best coaches, especially for kids. He is a selfless & down to earth person. He is the main reason why I am continuing my daughters swimming. I strongly recommend Santhanam masters coaching for all childrens.

I went for 12 DAYS COURSE. Very Good place to Learn Swimming. Children ABOVE 8 YEARS can join course, you can learn basics and can swim on your own. Classes will be 1 HOUR either in morning or Evening. DD of RS.2000 should be taken in favor of SPORTS DEVELOPMENT AUTHORITY OF TAMILNADU, and can give on the day you join. For MEN - Swim shorts and for WOMEN swimsuit. Better to wear GOGGLE and CAP.COURSE SLOTS will be displayed on board at entrance in advance. Monday will be Holiday.

I am a member for past 1.5 Years. Very well maintained swimming pool. Learn to Swim Classes are conducted in regular basis. There are 3 Swimming pool inside it for various reason. If you are more than 3.5 feet, you can dive in even if you dont know swimming in warm up pool. Other 2 pools are for people who know swimming.

Coaches are good. Offers training camps throughout the year. Has 3 swimming pools. Pools are well maintained considering the crowd they handle everyday. Especially the racing pool was too good. Membership fees is pretty decent.

Great pool for practice d learning. Lady coach is available. No age limit. For non members, fee is 100/hr. One hour each available at morning and evening time. The membership can be applied only through dd. The cost of one month membership is 2500. Learning courses of 12 days and fee is 2000 rupees. Monday is closed for maintenance. For first 10 days, the training will be done in 4 feet pool then on last 2 days, the training will be done on 7 feet deep pool. During the enrollment, one can buy swimming costume from the centre itselft against 650 rupees. It is mandatory to wear cap as water is clorinated

There are 3 swimming pools. 1. Racing Pool 2. Learning Pool 3. Diving PoolDiving pool is not in use. Learning pool is 3.5 feet deep and 25m long. Racing pool is 7.5 feet deep and 50m long.Swimming Pool size is big. But it is worst in maintenance. Water is so dirty. Never ever go with your kids here until you want them to fall sick.There are many other swimming pools maintained well though they are small in size.

Quality and information needs to be improved. The trainers stand and train in empty air instead of getting into water. The cleanliness needs to be improved whole lot. However this is one of the cheapest option available in town for swimming with lot of chlorine in the water.

Best place to learn and practice swimming. Located near to Velachery and Guindy race course. There is a learning pool, a normal pool and a diving pool. Experienced staffs are available to teach swimming at nominal fee. Swimming pool will be under maintenance once every week. Even car parking is available here.

They offer club membership for people with access to Swimming pools and Gym. This is one of the cheapest and best swimming pool membership. It has race pool, dive pool and warm pool. Water is changed often but more bleaching used on some days.

Kind of fun place...receptionist need to be educated ..lots of cute girls and boys come to dis pool ....iam a full time member ...love dis place..yet the infrastructure of restroom and water changing should be improved

I have been swimming here for around 2 years now.Good place to learn swimming. Dont get deterred by the quality of water or rest rooms. May be you will fall sick once, but from there on, it is smooth ride. You will learn swimming very well from Stephen (if he happens to be your coach).There are people from different backgrounds you will meet in this pool and someone will inspire you to learn more, swim longer, faster etc.If you bring energy to the pool, you will go back with more enegy.Best place to train kids, Santhanam is a great teacher for kids.I wish I could write more.....Bottom line: Want to learn swimming go here. Want to complain about water, rest room or coaches - avoid this place

The best in the city. Im not sure if there is any other pool in the city which is as deep as this and as big as this. It is run very professionally for many years.

I got surprised by to know that the facility is owned and maintained by government.They charge 100 per hour, they have three different types of pool. Many coaches are available at their own cost.

Member for 2+ year. Water, trainer, rest rooms are descent. Few lockers were working, first come first serve. Annual membership is for 10k, best price. They also have gymnastics, badminton court well maintained.

The Velachery Aquatic Complex consists of one 50 metre Olympic Standard Pool, one 25 Metre Warmup / Competition pool, one 30M depth Diving pool. The maintenance of pools is excellent but the maintenance of seating n Toilets is not up to mark. Needs proper cleaning regularly. Parking is sufficient. Coaches are very Good. LifeGuards are present whenever someone is in pool. Parking is adequate.

Please do not take your kid whose height is below 4 ft . The minimum height is 4 ft which is made by emptying 9 ft swimming pool by half level. The person at the counter wont tell you that. Nice place for swimming if you come first time just 100 rupee and plus if u dont have short for swimming then 250 for it... 😜Water is not very good it will make your eyes burn and your hair will get ruff and tight dont forget to get swimming glasses and cap.

This a typical government run place in terms of maintenance... however for the amount of crowd that is coming in... they are doing a fair job. About coaching... I went for a crash course with this coach Stephen.. He is really good... He is one of the main reason why I took a membership in this place and started learning swimming properly... If u r looking for a very good coach and can adjust with OK facility this is the place...

Visited for 15 day swimming class. Good coaches and nice learning.Run by government aid. Water is not that clean. For regular use, it is bit crowded. Bags has to be kept in open environment, no safety. They have other indoor games as well.

Good place for hanging out with friends & family. But sometimes the chlorine level in water is high. Other than that well maintained pool.

Over all its good and well maintained. per hour 100 rs for guest user. Member ship costs 10000 per year and 3500 per month. dont ask me the logic. i to didnt understand. Pool is well maintained and dress changing room are just ok. It will be good if they change water twice a week because large number of public use it so water becomes dirty very soon. Thats the only con i will say.

Youve to bring in a lock on your own for locking up ur personal belongings and take back when youre getting back home.

Be careful of your belongings. I lost my bag with car key which was kept near security chair very near to the swimming area where other bags too kept. When checked with others, this is not the first incident. Many lost their bags with key, purse, chain, mobile... No proper locker facility and no cctv camera even on parking area or in reception.

Good place to swim. But the replenishment of water and maintenance of water quality needs to be improved; chlorination is done beyond the acceptable levels.

Nice location and place, but water is not cleaned often and it is too crowded. They dont have enough lines for swimmers not following lessons.I advice to dedicate lines regarding swimming type (free, back..) to level speeds per line.

Cheaper than other private swimming pools in Chennai. And clean and good also. Couches are also good over this place. 3 pools are there.

₹100 for an hour. Make sure to enter the pool exactly at the beginning of each hour ( 4 pm or 5 pm or 6 pm ) cause if yu enter at 4:30 or 5:30 yu ll have to leave the pool exactly the beginning of the next hour that is 5 pm or 6 pm respectively. But surely worth the money.

He is very motivational , gives gud tips , Find our mistakes before we even do it and prevent us from doing same .Water Gets dirty soon , Stays gud for two days after Monday . but exceptional for the quality of training we get under STEPHEN SIR .
