But the drive in is the best. You can roam around, and enjoy. Food available. But on evenings there might be mosquitoes which would be quite annoying 😅

Nice place to view move from car or open space areas. Totally 4 (A,B,C,D) rows available for parking cars. Near to our car or infront of car we can set or if you have mat or blucket we use. Best view and Audio we have get center area of rows or mid pace good. We can get food items they will deliver or we. Can carry out side foods or before enter we can order from app or near OMR food street. For bike rides they have box office seats. Same price for movie tickets only have to pay extra for car parking.

Having a pepsi cup in one hand with a Cone ice cream in other hand watching in such a big screen with some chill wind, as it is located near the beach side. But the people who owe it didnt maintained it, I think so. But a good experience to watch a wholesome family commercial cinemas that too with family.

Great place to enjoy movies with family & friends. But the ramps can have some rubber sheets for our comfort. I saw people taking their own carpets or plastic chairs to sit and watch movie near their car. Also stray dogs at dark may be avoided.The idea is great and seem to prove its success....Must see place ...

This is a open drive in theater. It will be different experience all together. People who have kids who wants to watch movies I would recommend this theater as you can allow them to play and sleep. Food and snacks are bit expensive and the quantity of food is limited.Rest room is very bad maintenance. You cant even step into. Very very bad maintenance.

Parking can be streamlined on a first come first serve basis or allocate specific slots. Also on please maintain the place clean. Need garbage bins near each speaker.

It was my first time there. The experience was different on the whole. Its best when you go as a couple and there is no one at the back seat :P. Watching from, outside the car is a nightmare (Remember the Mosquitoes arent that friendly.).And the car I went in was Audi Q3 and it had DRLs. So we couldnt turn on the A/C as it would ruin the visibility for others. So, prepare to watch without A/C.

It will remind us old theatres which was in olden days. We can take our car with us and sit in that car and see . Its a place where we will feel like home. They will supply food to the places where we r sitting.

You will like the drivein theater if you go by car. the gallery seats will be ok. you can enjoy once.

My age is 24, in this 24 years i never seen such a theatre like this, in prathana beach drive two theatres are there one is prathana open theatre and aaradhana closed one, am not aware of open theatre but aradhana was a very worst theatre, sorry its not a theatre, its a AC room with dust and dirty chairs, theatre screen is in square shape and, it feels like seeing hd movie in LCD tv. I went to watch sarkar movie eagerly and came out from the middle of the movie with disappoitment. The seat that i sat was broken, i booked balcony, i was searching for the way to go to balcony, but the answer said by the staff was shocking, he was saying that last 5 rows in the theatre as a balcony 😰 theatre is full dust and bad smell. One of the horrible day in my life. I will not give any stars, but I have no option so I gave 1 star.

The best and only open theatre in Chennai. Nice place to watch a movie on a date night. The screen and picture quality is good however the audio definitely needs improvement. The canteen provides snacks at your place however the food is below average. If you want to drive in please book tickets in Drive in Circle and not in gallery.

Even if your kid doesnt allow you to sit at one place, u can take them around but still u can watch a movie. So, young parents , u dont want to sacrifice your movie watching hobbies. The only Drive-in theatre in Chennai and such a lovely theatre with great sound quality even in open air. Can be a very good hangout place for a joint family and the pricing is reasonable. The movie quality is also very good and the ramps that are being built to park the car are also of good quality! Very well maintained.

Good theatre, watching to a new experience.But screen quality is low to night mode.And sounds are very bad....I think more than screen brightness you give ,and you will improve sound quality, its a very good to see.

The ambience will be positive if the weather is nice, as it is an open theatre. But the management can do a lot more. And the place seems isolated from outside. In addition, the rates for simple snacks are high over nothing. But kids will sure have a great time with an adjacent little park and also just the idea of viewing movies on a big screen sitting in card or like having a picnic.

A different experience for movie goers. You can check out the drive in theatre for any movie with out any major SPL effects. The video and audio is really good. The best thing is you can bring your own food to eat during the movie and also if you want food is served right in your place at a very optimal cost. A coffee or a popcorn packet doesnt cost you a fortune here. Worth checking out.

I had a very good first time experience. Visited 6:45 PM show.. I couldnt hear audio clearly when I am sitting inside the car. We can also sit down in front of your car . You have to carry a mat or something so that you can sit on it comfortably. Not much mosquitos but would suggest to carry any bug spray or repellent especially when you go with Kids. Food was good not great. I would recommend to visit this place at least once with family..

Novelistic experience by watching movies just sitting in front of your parked cars. Reasonable price. Kids open play area, popcorn shops, small eat outs, one restaurant inside providing food service direct to your cars, great. But this Place could be maintained better and hygienic. More greenery with plants, frequent cleaning, to be made us mosquito free zone,etc.

This is my second time for drive in within 2 months.. Had a nice experience. I have been to this theatre 3 years before and had horrible experience with people consuming alcohol around. But now, this theatre looks much better and the sound system is better.. nice breeze come from beach.Will recommend this drive in theatre for anyone. You can take your own food and eat at leisure. Parking charge is 70rs in addition to the ticket price. Go early to catch a place in the Center.

Not getting the feeling of seeing a movie. You can enjoy a different ambiance. Kids play area is there. If you have kids. You cannot see the movie. Your kids will not come out of the place. You have to be there like a security through out the time for your kids. Cleanliness can be improved in the ambiance as well as wash rooms.

Can sit and breath fresh air in open space while watching your favourite movie in a chair or car or lying on a mat. Thats the luxury. In addition to that good veg snacks and a restaurant is available where you can finish off your dinner while watching the movie itself. Children play area is also available. Pets & liquor not allowed strictly.

I gave 4 stars since I went in a car with my family. In all my years in Chennai Ive never gone in my car here and its quite an experience. The screen is big enough and thankfully the sounds are not lacking. The premises were clean and I believe they clean after every show. Do mind the endless queue of cars at the theatre - So reach early.Its chennai and so you dont need blankets at almost any time of the year except for Nov - Jan. The staff do rounds asking if you need anything - a good thing indeed. They were also mindful enough to not disturb the sleeping ones.

It would be Better to Carry Mosquito Coil with You ;-) Might Help You If You Plan to Sit Outside to Watch Movie...

Awesome place to watch movie with family. We can either watch inside the car or Sid on the floor, if mats are available. Screen is very clear. Ambiance also good. Good refreshment facilities also available. Can bring food also. So its kind of a picnic place with movie. Toilets could have been better. Didnt understand the point of charging additional amount for car parking. The price mentioned on website is not the actuals after tax & parking charges. I loved the place since family with kids can enjoy the movie even when the kids wanna walk around, which is unlike the usual theatres. The movie played was also not bad though.

Gallery also available.One can order food to be served near your car. If its rainy season you should avoid coming here.Speakers will not be effective as its open air. Its okay to come with family. Choose your neighbouring car to be a family one, so that you have a pleasant experience.

Reach 30 minutes before the movie starts to get a nice view of the screen. Remember to take some arrangements for sitting! You cant sit inside the car and watch movie. They come to your place and take orders for food which was very convenient. Restrooms are very pathetic.

I see few people come early and have a walk on the open area. Outside foods are not allowed. Some times dogs will come. If your car is not comfortable you can sit in front of your car. Get some mosquito repellent cream. A large area. If you are going on a windy evening then you are lucky.

Its a nice ambience. If you are going for good sound expirence it is not good. But it is good for family.

It is an open theatre, can take a car directly and watch a movie. It is having multiple ramps, so can park the car over and watch. Speakers are available between 2 cars, so audio is clear, we can sit in cement ramp and also watch the movie.So one can try for different experience. It is also having a normal seat booking. We need to take a ramp cost separately for a car over there , as each car will be allowed in a queue , so be there at least 45 mins before to enter and take the center place of the ramps to have a good view. There is a small hotel available and orders will be taken once movie is started.

The ticket if this drive-in theatre is priced similar to the other multiplexes in chennai. You have to pay an additional 70 rupees if you are bringing your car to the drive in view area. They have a ramp..You can either watch the movie from inside your car or sit on the ramp where your car is parked. If you are sitting outside your car do carry a blanket along with you. You can also carry snacks from outside or you can bring home cooked food.If you like to see movie in open air theatres do visit this place. Nearly maintained at the view area. Snacks available at the counter and nominally priced.One thing which they could have done to improve the experience. The area around the drive in view area is a little bushy. Its a small concern if you are not inside your car during watching the movie

Visit the theatre for a new experience.. there are 2 screens and one is normal (Aaradhana) and the other one is drive in theatre (Prarthana). We have to enter into the open theatre from a gate which is not main entrance. I watched the movie in the gallery at drive in Prarthana. Its a new experience and I should say its very good too. Sound is good and have a good screen presence too for the money we are paying at the gallery. When we have a car, we can park the car in the lawn and watch the movie by sitting in the car or sitting outside car on the lawn. When we dont have a car, we still watch the movie from the gallery seats. Worth visiting!!

A perfect place to chill your weekend! This is the only drive in theatre available in Chennai! The rates & Price are reasonable. They also have a normal AC screen.

Have been coming to prarthana drive in since the past ten years. Over the years, with the advent of online booking, these guys simply dont know how to manage the number of ramps booked. Without even providing a proper ramp ramp charges are being collected. Its high time they start creating a reservation system to manage the bookings and control the crowd . If you come early youll give five stars to this place but hardly one if you come late.

Nice place to watch a movie. But no English movies are shown here. Food is decent at good prices. Pricing is based on not just how many vehicles but how many people per a car based on car capacity.

I wouldnt suggest this theatre if you really want to enjoy the movie to its fullest. From price standpoint, although it might appear to be cheap, you end up missing the whole point of going to a theatre in the first place. The movie watching experience is pathetic. So much of noise from the audience, hard and congested seat, stinky smell from the nearby restroom, worst of all, a blurry dim screen..to make it worse..cars zip through and flash headlights when the movie is on...I would advice to better save some bucks and enjoy the movie in a decent theatre instead.. If you wanna spend some time inside your car on an evening, with your family, you can go for it.. Not sure if youll enjoy the movie as you do in a theater.
