Covid19 cluster alert! Before going to this theatre make sure the screen is 50% occupied. When I went here, the theatre management carried out 120% occupancy. Sanitation and hygiene are not maintained. Risk yourself to go here.

The interior design of the theatre was really nice and the sound system was perfect for the party...But keeping in mind the exterior and varandah part the theatre lags beauty and cleanliness..so I give this theatre a three star..never mind 4 star for interior ....

When I was child, ppl used say more about Jothi Theatre or Parangkimali Jothi, a well known theatre for Adult Movies alone. But now they have changed the name which was among ppl of Chennai. They are transforming the theatre slowly with better seat, snack etc..

But now they have renewed it and looks good and movie experience is nice.Car parking is not available, we need to park the cars outside the theatre premises.

Very old theatre, but with A/C and I hope only Tamil movies are playing there. There is not any place to park the car inside the theatre and it will be crowded all the time. I have watched Darbar from this theatre. Sound system was effective, sometimes you feel horrible because of the high volume. Maintenance should be done properly as the toilets were dirty and filthy.

One of the iconic place in Chennai. It is very old theatre. It’s there for very long time. It is located at the centre of the city( near kathipara bridge) and accessible from everywhere. The problem is with seat comfort. It’s not up to the status. Still using old style.

I really wonder how i missed this theatre (may be bcoz of its history) despite located very close to my place. I was surprised by the interior and seating capacity of the theater. Happy to see a single screen theatre @ the heart of d city. But still the other portions of the theater except theatre hall needs some upliftment. The soundtrack was not crystal clear and d space between d seats were less. Other than that I loved d theatre. Parking d tic price was affordable. Will visit this theatre frequently n coming days.

Recommended only for individuals. Theatre need to be renewed. Theatre has wooden rigid chairs, dirty open cement floor. Only this is it in mid of city.

This is not a premium theatre for the families and kids can afford to watch with friends. Great place for fans to shout and enjoy. Seats are okay . Management can avoid letting drunk people in and can avoid people smoking bin the premises.

Now the theatre is rennovated, i would recommend you to hit the theatre in balcony..Seats are good, but ac is not upto the mark..The floor is still cemented..The interval dishes are cost effective, but not too much good...They allow smoking in the balcony..So think before coming with your family

Only the balcony seating area is better otherwise the theatre isn’t a good choice. Sound quilt is poor like 10 years back.Many drinkers coming to the theatre which isn’t advisable.If any good new release movies if u didn’t get ticket anywhere in the city and u want to watch the movie the same day then ultimately this theatre can be your choice of tea.

Traditional type of theatre. Its have huge seating capacity. Very far from sipcot IT park. Snacks is cheap but very limited. Good to get typical fans enjoyment while watching movie of super star.

One of the oldest theatre and a landmark too. Earlier days they used to show adult movies but now entirely changed and renovated fully.It’s all new branded and theatre and can watch all new movies. New movies get released in this theatre too.

Few years back this theatre was running A rated movies and only men come here to watch movies. Now its all revamped and top movies are released here. The location is at the very heart of the Chennai city near kathipara flyover. Though this cannot be compared with the moderation multiplex theatres in the city one can have all regular facilities and comfort. Parking is not an issue because we have a lot of space to park cars and bikes.
