I have my 2 children in GCIS in grade 6 and grade 1. As we are residing abroad and my children joined the school last academic year, we were a bit apprehensive about online classes, but were soon at ease with the warm and informed teachers encouraging kids in learning. The student enrichment program and activities are quiet encouraging. I think this is on of the very few school that has waived the fees according to government norms.

Management is very rude. They conducted online interview. The principal is very rude attitude. I dont know how other teachers work. I had many school experience. But they treated as a fresher and spoked very rude. I never met a bad experience in any other school.totally annoying. madhavaram school management

The school was fine before covid struck, but after that the education system changed and my son hasnt been getting much attention, i was stuck in another country because of covid and after that there was no news from the apps also i wrote many emails but they never replied its like my son isnt even in school anymore. This was the email received feb/11/2021 (harassing email), and my comments are written below this emailFeb/11/21Dear ParentsGreetingsThis is to inform you that your ward has been restricted from entering the online class due to non-payment of the Academic fees. You have to make the complete payment to resume the online class. Let me also remind you that it has been observed that certain parents are providing the defaulters with the link thus allowing them to join classes. This is highly unethical and works against the institutions directive. It is inappropriate and disloyal on your part to evade from your most important responsibility as a parent. Consider this a fair and final warning regarding the fee default and committing malpractice for entering the class.Strict and stringent measures will be taken !RegardsPrincipalGCISMy ReviewFeb/12/2020The above email seems to be so rude and harassing!!. Earlier (Previous year) they used to call us if we failed to pay within the deadline. This year (Lock down year) they didnt do that, instead I got an email a month back about the late payment fees and I replied them on the payment that I have done during the Dec month 2020 (23 Dec 2020) with the screen shot and didnt receive the acknowledge on that could have acknowledge or could have mentioned which term they didnt receive the payment, because there is a high chance of missing out in paying the fees. I would request school teams to send email to the parents or connect through phones and request them for the pending payment (mentioning the term fees amount / month we missed as parents are receiving n number of updates in the greenfield app) and acknowledging the payment email. Im not denying there might be a gap or there may be a non-payment of fees from my side but there is a protocol to communicate to the parents. I havent received an email about the term / payment amount. I have received a general email that I havent done the payment of the previous term. We parents are not here to do malpractice and during this lockdown we are also putting our effort to teach our children. Im requesting management to send the pending fees mentioning which term / amount that I have not paid during this year before disabling the link.Regarding the link for joining class:They are having a Greenfield app in which they providing the link for classes daily. Its a pdf file that doesnt open in few of the Android phones, so few parents get links from other parents and used to attend the classes. It is not a crime or malpractice as you mention. Please hire a team or learn to send a proper email to your parents. Its been over rated by few reviewers, with all belief in the reviews & behavior of the front office person I took the admission however the school doesnt maintain its standard, no proper communication with the parents, no discussion done with the parents before giving a update. Harrassing e-mail sent by the management towards the unpaid fees, no proper contact person when we visit the school, if you come with money you can meet the ppl if you want to share anything then they wont be available or you shld wait for them a whole day the person address you will not listen to your words will give an arrogant response. Greenfield Chennai International School has been the best choice for us in North Chennai. My kids are eager to go to School and truly love learning. The superb academics, International approach, learning environment and extracurricular activities are exactly what young kids need.

Both my daughters are studying in Greenfield Chennai International School, they are fluent in English. Both of them are interested in studying unlike other kids. I guess the teaching methodology used there makes learning interesting for the students.

One of the best schools around North Chennai. They give importance to co-curricular activities as well.
