Good place, had lunch here. Ambience was good, staff was courteous and continuously checked on us.The buffet spread has to improve, it used to be a bigger spread years back. Now it has reduced to just few items and surprisingly no biriyani in the veg side. Well, hope things could improve post pandemic recovery

A true star experienceGrand is not only in the hotels name but it is all over the place here. The reception staffs, the housekeeping staffs, the food service staffs and all other staffs are really co-operative and really responsive. They were just a call away anytime.The rooms were clean and tidy with all the toiletries and complimentary items in place. They also explain which items are chargeable and which items are part of the room cost. Room has individual AC controls and various lighting presets to set the lightings are per the mood. Room also has a pin enabled locker to place valuables.I did not try the in-room dining so not sure about that experience. However, I had breakfast, lunch and dinner at their restaurant. The food tasted really good. It was fresh and hot. Also you have extensive range of menu to choose from.Overall, a really pleasant and great experience staying at Grant GRT and recommend anyone to consider this as one of your top options if you want to stay in Chennai.

We visit Bazaar for a team lunch based on the reviews. Honestly, we were quite disappointed... Though its a buffey but we were not allowed to take certain foods on our own. We had to wait for 10- 15 minutes for each order. Ambiance was good & taste of food was good but with limited variety and expensive too. I would not recommend for larger group..

I would find them eager to please without intruding,at all times ! Best hospitality I have had experienced after Taj group.Coming to rooms, slightly small but very comfortable and clean .Not much of a view as the hotel is located in the middle of Chennai but that is also a strong point in terms of convenience in reaching anywhere . It is just 10 mins away from the airport by taxi.The complimentary buffet was good specially the north Indian and the south Indian fare, the European one was just average.This place is great value for money and is great for business travelers as well as families .Avoid a room near the elevator , the ding- ding can be disturbing specially in the busy morning hours.

Through not so big as compared to the older star hotels in Chennai, its compact neat with different cuisine restaurants to enjoy. The buffet food for dinner served is far far better than other star hotels in city. The ambience is pleasant. Parking is little cramped due to paucity of space. Fit to visit with family and friends

I was blown away by the intricate traditional design woven into the heart of this hotel. The complementary breakfast was worth staying for. The hotel room has all the amenities including in-room foot massage machine. Chennai Malls and pondi bazaar within reach. I wish I could stay here longer.

We had booked Grand for the wedding reception of my cousin sister. The hospitality provided by the staff was marvelous right from the start till end. I have no complaint or any negative feedback, just wish the team to continue to serve with the same conviviality. Worst service . I would never recommend this hotel to my friends. I have stayed in several star hotels in chennai but their service is the worst . Mine is not a fake account. Just that i dont want to mention my name . I have really stayed here and i am making a review . I have never reviewed any hotel but i have been pushed to a state to review this hotel. They have never changed their service norms. They will act like they really care for the customers regarding service . But if you request something to them they will show their real face. I dont know if they know anything regarding hospitality . Their manager also supports their staffs regarding everything and frames the customers using lies that we were doing the wrong thing.Even after this if you want to book a room here go for online platforms.On online platforms it is quite cheap to book rooms (around RS.3000 for 2 GUESTS) but in person, they charge more .

From entry gate till room I noticed that hotel staff preparedness in covid time. Entire staff is wearing gloves and masks, maintaing social distancing. Rooms are neat and clean properly sanitized. This hotel deserves no stars of you ask me. I am a doctor who was given accomodation in various hotels(Turyaa, Hablis, Hilton etc.) in the past nine months as I was posted in COVID duty. I have also stayed in other resorts/ hotels in the past during family trips/ conferences.I checked in on 19/04/21 at 4 P.M. Since the quality of food we were served was appalling (kindly note the strand of hair in one of the pics Ive posted), I vacated the hotel on 20/04/21 at 10:00A.M. I was bewildered when one of the hotel staff ASKED ME TO SIGN A BILL FOR TWO DAYS, stating my early departure as reason. Wheres the logic in that!!I humbly request you to stop exploiting tax payers money, at least in this pandemic.
